Said I was going to get it out quicker but I didn't. Apologies! Real life gets in the way of the fun! Thanks for the reviews!
Enjoy!
That scene in 'The Omen' when Damien has a massive screaming fit as the car was pulling up to the church. That's how Ruby had felt when she pulled up to the Rollins farm in the back of her mom and dad's car. As they walked in the house was already pretty lively, there were far more people there than she was expecting and who knew, it might work in her favour when it came to blending into the crowd. Suddenly Mary came running from the kitchen. "James! Alison!"she yelled, greeting her mom and dad. She hugged them both quickly before turning to Ruby. "Hey Ruby honey, so glad you could come. All of you!"she said towards her parents again. "Here let me take your coats!' before walking away she put her free hand on her mom's arm "Make you way to the kitchen Alison. Most of the girls are in there. The men are in the front talking football no doubt."Ruby rolled her eyes, this woman was determined to keep herself and as many other women as she could rooted in the 1950's.
There was only one way to deal with how she was feeling right now. She needed alcohol. Even though she knew she'd have to brave the kitchen, right now it was more than worth it. She made a b line for the door, hoping to get in and out as quickly and as anonymously as possible but that plan was quickly in tatters when she ran directly into someone coming the other way, hard enough to sense that they were in as bigger rush as she was. "Oh god I'm so sorry I wasn't…" her babbling words of apology were cut short when she saw the blue of John's eyes staring down at her. Ruby swallowed hard, her throat suddenly feeling void of any moisture what so ever. "I'm…I'm sorry Mr. Rollins. I wasn't looking where I was going." John's stomach dropped as his cock suddenly came to life. He'd never actually told her what effect those words coming from her mouth had on him. Right now he really wished he had.
"No problem." he said, softly and only then realising he'd been holding onto her left hand a little longer than most people there would deem necessary. He knew it sounded corny but that few seconds of contact with her had felt more like an hour. It had only been a matter of a week but John had found himself full on craving her. One the one hand he'd taken a big chance a few days back and called her when he was alone in the barn. On the the other he'd dropped lucky, because she was wasn't working that day and was by herself in the house. He'd told her how much he needed her and she'd told him how much she was missing him. Before long a very effective phone sex session was taking place and John had found himself jacking off in the barn like a horny 15 year old boy.
"Happy anniversary." she said with a weak smile on her face, she felt sick just for saying it but she knew she had the eyes of all the women in the kitchen on her now.
"Thanks Ruby." he said, clearly feeling about as exited about it as she felt. Her hands and body ached just to touch him, it was like her fingers suddenly had a mind of their own. Yeah she definitely needed a drink. Right now.
The rest of the night was equally unbearable and Ruby didn't venture much from the kitchen. Yes it was filled with women she didn't even want to be on the planet with right now but on the other hand, the alcohol was there. She was on he third glass when she began to feel the buzz kick in nicely. That's when John decided he needed another beer and appeared in the doorway. Ruby had no doubt it was something to do with that drink that the desire for him was even harder to handle now. All she wanted to do was march straight up to him and kiss him. Tell him to push her up against the wall and take her hard like she like it. The let him lay her down and make love to her properly. Something she was begining to love more and more. It was at this point that it became clear that Ruby wasn't the only one taking full advantage of the wine. Mary decided now was the perfect time to make a speech. She wobbled over to her husband and clumsily flung her arms around his neck. "16 years and still this happy! It's ridiculous isn't it?" she slurred. "But those oaths we took in front of God that day we meant didn't we sweetie?" By now, Ruby could feel the bile rising in her stomach.
"You couldn't handle your wine that day either." John said back, which was rewarded with a round of 'awww's and how sweet's" from the other women. One of whom was her mother who she wanted nothing more than to tell to shut up right now.
"I just…need the bathroom…sorry." Ruby said as she awkwardly made her way around the couple…ich!
"Ruby are you alright honey?" her mother called after her.
'I think it's the wine Alison. I'll get her some water." She heard Mary say, before Ruby avoided the bathroom altogether and headed straight for the front door. John took advantage of the moment and followed her. They would only think he was checking on her anyway right?
Ruby held onto the porch rail and squeezed it tight. Yes drinking had been a stupid fucking idea and now she was hating herself for it.
"You ok?" his voice was like nectar being dripped into her ears. What had she done to be tortured like this!
"I'm fine. Just needed the air. I shouldn't drink. I'm bad at it."
Nah ya shouldn't specially in ya condition." Ruby could actually feel the blood drain to her feet.
