When Percy was in the infirmary (stupid Stolls) Annabeth refused to leave his side. Percy hated that she was missing so many fun things around camp. When he finally asked why she wouldn't go she replied "They wouldn't be fun without you" and kissed him on the cheek. Finally at the end of the summer, Percy had had enough. He knew Annabeth was staying, so that she could make sure he was okay, but Percy forced her to go to the bead ceremony. She did, but not without him begging her.
