She stood there on the rock, never taking her eyes from him. Beast Boy watched as she slipped away from him. Yellow light radiated from her. Soon, her light- as warm as her smile, voice, embrace- filled the room.
Beast Boy choked back tears, unable to move. He couldn't bring himself to look away as the love of his life, his silver lining, his light, was taken away from him. He was pulled away, but her image never left his mind.
