When Demolisher finally arrived, he had a frown on his face.
"What's going on?" he demanded of the girl huddled on Starscream's hand.
"I cut myself," she mumbled, it wasn't bleeding as much as it had been but it really needed some attention.
"I found her wandering around," Starscream stated in his raspy voice. "She appears to have injured herself and is leaking all over my hand."
Demolisher's frown deepened as Megatron asked. "Was she allowed to leave your quarters?"
Demoslisher remembered he never told his pet to stay putt in his room, how could he forget something like that? "Well sir, I forgot tell her stay put"
Alexis felt relieved and it was true, before he went to earth he just left without saying anything then to get her stuff.
"Demolisher you fool, how can you expect to look after her if you can't take care of her," demanded Megatron as Demolisher looked disappointed at himself.
"I'm sorry sir," he stated, sounding and looking contrite.
Megatron grumbled under his breath before commanding. "Take her back to her room and clean your pet up. Afterwards, you will work out a list of rules and you will make sure she is aware of them. Am I clear solider?"
"Yes sir," he exclaimed, holding out his hand for his pet. Starscream gratefully handed her over, wrinkling his nose at the stuff left on his hand.
"Dismissed," Megatron stated with a wave of his hand.
"You are in trouble" said Demolisher as soon they reached his room he put her down and saw some red thing on his hand "How much did you damage yourself?"
"I don't know, I haven't looked," Alexis stated but she bent down to her shoes to take up the suit on her leg to see how serious it was.
Demolisher just watched her until they could see her wound and it didn't look so pretty witch all the red blood dropping down "That's disgusting."
"It is just human blood" said Alexis, she would need something to clean her leg up.
"It's still disgusting," he stated as he took out a cloth from sub space and started cleaning up the wound.
"Oww, be gentle," exclaimed Alexis, pushing at his hand.
"Hold still," he ordered, dabbing again at the wound which wasn't bleeding so much now.
"I need to clean it," she tried again, still shoving at his hand. "Or it'll get infected, I think I cut it on something rusty."
"Infected?" questioned Demolisher wonder what she could mean by that.
"Yes, do you have any idea how much bacteria a rusty material?" asked Alexis and added "it might not be dangerous to you, but it is for me I can get sick."
Thinking about what she just said, Demolisher gave her the cloth not wanting to have any risks.
"Thanks" Alexis started to clean her leg and went around the wound.
"Do you have any water?" she asked. "I need to actually wash it to get it clean."
"Here," he said, bringing a water bottle from sub space and handing it to her.
"Thank you," she said, pouring water over the wound and scrubbing away the dirt. "Are you gonna have to keep going down to Earth to get more?"
"No," he stated. "I just need a decent amount and it can be replicated."
"Really?" she exclaimed.
"Yes, it is not hard for us," he said.
"That's is really cool and are you going to do the same with the food?" asked Alexis, that sounded interesting.
"Yes, I don't have time to run down to Earth all the time" with reminded him about her stuff and sub-spaced out what he got "Here, got some food for you."
Alexis took the bag and open it so see some fruit and candy bars? "Where did you get this?"
"From you planet" he replayed as he cleaned his hand from some of the blood.
"I know that, what I meant was did you steal this stuff?" she asked.
"I took it from a storage facility," he stated, which basically meant yes.
She sighed but what could she say? She could only hope that he hadn't done too much damage.
"You'd better eat," he told her.
"Okay," she said, after all that scrambling around, she was feeling rather hungry.
Taking a fruit Alexis just sit down eating it.
"Hmm how about we go through some rules" he said she did leave his room so why not "Rule number one, you can't go anywhere without my permission understood."
"You are not still mad about it are you?" she asked.
"You shouldn't have left," he scolded sternly. "From now on, you ask me first, got it?"
"Fine," she sighed, not meaning it a hundred percent. She would see how things worked but she was definitely going to be keeping an eye out for an escape.
"Alright, rule number two," he continued. "You do what I or Lord Megatron tells you, whatever that may be."
"What about Cyclonus or Starscream?" she questioned calmly and he frowned.
"Not if it contradicts something Lord Megatron or I've said," he said finally.
"Rule number three no mischief, Lord Megatron don't like that neither do I," said Demolisher, he didn't have time to go after her if she was up to something, but would have to.
"So what is rule four?" asked Alexis "Let me guess, is it no loud noises?"
"Matter of fact, it is" he answered sincerely.
"I was just kidding" she gasped, that was so typical.
"Tough, it's still a rule," he stated before rubbing at his chin in thought. What else did he not want her doing? And what did he want her to do.
"Rule number five, you go to sleep when I say so."
"What?" she exclaimed, she didn't like the sound of that at all.
"That's the rule," he told her firmly. "You'll also keep yourself refuelled and clean."
"Anything else I need to know?" she asked, this wasn't going to be fun was all she could think off.
"No, that is all you need to know" he said and added "Just do as you are told and you will be fine."
Demolisher was about leave to continue his chores or duty on this ship, but this time he looked at her "You are coming with me, I am not leaving you alone this time."
"Fine" not that she could argue against him as she followed.
She then realised that she was on a table and that getting down would be a challenge. She sighed heavily before calling after him.
"Demolisher, you're going to have to construct some steps or slides for me if I'm going to move around your room.
"Huh," he exclaimed, turning around and staring at her.
She opened her arms, indicating her helplessness. It wasn't impossible for her to get down but it would take time and effort on her part.
"Oh," he said, reaching forward to pick her up.
"So where are we going?" she asked as standing at his hand.
"I am going to do some work and you better stay out of trouble," Demolisher said, walking into a room that looked to be pretty messy like no one didn't care to clean it up
"Yeesh, what a mess," she exclaimed softly to herself as he picked his way through the piles of rubbish scattered across the floor. He made it to a table and placed her on an uncluttered surface and pulled a rather battered machine over.
"What's that?" she asked, without the faintest idea who it could be.
"It's going to be the power source for your food replicator," he replied, examining it carefully.
"Oh," she exclaimed with a lot more interest. "Cool."
"Hmm, it's going to need some work," mumbled tank for himself, he would need to re-program that machine to create organic food.
"What should I do while you work on that food replicator?" asked Alexis.
"Huh?" he said, a little distracted. "You can start clearing up a bit if you wish."
"Okay," she said, maybe she'd find something useful.
She approached a messy pile and examined it. Said pile looked a little daunting, there was just so much stuff tangled together. However, she would just have to take her time and she could get through it.
As Alexis kept herself busy pushing away some junk to the corner, she started to create more space, but the bigger metal just stayed where they were because it was too heavy for her to move. Demolisher had by now connected the food replicator to a computer trying to reprogram it and as everything started well the screen started to show "Huh Error? What for?"
Alexis glanced over and saw that Demolisher had a problem. Putting down the very oddly shaped screw, she picked her way over to him.
"Something wrong?" she questioned curiously.
"This stupid thing isn't working," he said in annoyance, tempted to smack it with his fist.
"Can I take a look?" she asked and he looked at her.
"I guess so" he said thinking it can't get any worse, apparently the machine didn't accept the new programming.
Alexis curiously went over to the screen taking a look, Sure these Cybertronian computers are more advanced, but hard could this be?
"May I?" she asked, wondering if she was allowed to touch the keyboards after seen the screen and the coding maybe she could send the program by another format perhaps an older code the machine would accept.
He glanced at her before saying. "Fine but don't make it worse."
"I won't," she promised, going right up to the computer to take a look.
After a few moments, she started to type away, trying a new program. Demolisher hovered close by, sure that she would do something wrong. However, the error list began to disappear and the computer screen turned back to normal.
"Good," Alexis said with a smile, now she could install a new program.
After using some of her tricks she knew it would not take long before the new program get installed.
"There, I think that should do it."
Demolisher looked at the screen and saw the program to be 50% installed, happy it is getting installed "How did you manage that?"
"I'm good with computers," she said simply, with a small shrug.
"Huh," he said, he'd never have thought a human would be that good. He supposed computers weren't really his thing but he'd have still thought he was better than his pet. Apparently not.
"Well, if it works, you'll be able to have food," he stated and this made her smile.
"Cool, I'm getting hungry," she said.
"If you getting hungry then we can try it now" he said, if this don't work he was to keep go back to Earth to feed his pet.
"Okay, but I ate my orange and left the bag with the rest of the fruits in your room."
"Huh, I will get it and you stay here until I return" he ordered and she nodded back.
"Okay," she said brightly, taking a seat.
He glanced at her and then the piles of junk.
"You sort out some more stuff while I'm gone."
She looked at the enormous piles and sighed.
"Alright."
Deciding to move away the smaller piles first so it wouldn't be as hard as she took a piece metal started to pull away to the wall. After some minutes Demolisher returned with the bag of fruits, candy and his optics quickly found Alexis, but at least she did as he told her.
"How it's going here?"
"Not too bad," she said, wiping her forehead. "But I'm not going to finish this any time soon, there's too much of it."
He looked over it, there was indeed a lot of junk.
"Well, I might get some of the Minicons to assist," he mused, thinking it over. There were things to salvage, when they weren't on hunt this would be a good chore for the Minicons.
Alexis nodded before pointing at what he was carrying.
"Are we gonna try out the machine?"
"Yes, we are" said Demolisher.
"Here put something inside the machine" as he gave her the bag with the fruits and candy bars.
"Alright" Alexis walked over to the machine and put in an apple "done"
"Good, and you may want to take some steps back" and with a click Demolisher started up the machine.
Alexis watched as the machine shuddered and made a few alarming noises. A few sparks were flying about but Demolisher just watched patiently. Eventually, there was a 'ding' and the machine spat out two apples onto a tray.
"Wow," Alexis exclaimed, very impressed by what had happened.
"Good, it works," Demolisher stated as Alexis lifted up the apples and examined them closely. They appeared to be perfect copies of each other. Tentatively, she took a bite and spat it onto her hand so she could make sure there was nothing wrong inside. The first apple was fine so she tried the other and got the same result.
"They're good," she informed her master who seemed satisfied.
"Hmm," he said with a nod, pleased it had worked.
Alexis now started to eat one of the apples, wondering how much food Demolisher had collected. Even though she enjoyed apples, she didn't want to be eating only apples from now on. But she did have another concern.
"What about water?" she queried. "Can you replicate that?"
"Huh?" he said, looking down at her. "Don't worry about it, I'll take care of it."
"Okay," she said softly, taking another bite.
"When you've finished that, you can start sorting again," Demolisher commanded.
When she looked up at him, he added. "I have things to take of so I want you to stay here until I return. Understand?"
"Yeah," she sighed, looking back at the still enormous pile. "What are we doing later?"
"I dunno," he shrugged, heading to the door. "Remember, stay there."
She sighed very heavily once he was gone. If she was forced to live with him for the time being, she hoped it did not mean all she did was work and sleep. That would very tiresome very quickly.
