My Little Pony: Villain Competition
Chapter 3
Nightmare Moon, Discord, Queen Chrysalis, King Sombra, the demon Sunset Shimmer, and the Plunderseeds were all in cages in Tartarus.
The G1 Tirek was a ways away, but another Tirek, of G4 animation, was in a cage next to them.
"So, you tasted the rainbow too," said Tirek.
Holographic screens showed G3, but one of them switched to the Friendship is Magic episodes Twilight's Kingdom, which the other villains watched.
"I'll say I'm the best villain," said Tirek.
"How so?" said Discord and Chrysalis.
"First, I have the most epic battle of the series," said Tirek. "A hundred times more epic than the fights with you, and you, and you, and you!" He pointed to Chrysalis, Sombra, Sunset Shimmer, and Nightmare Moon.
"I'm still the only villain with her own song," said Chrysalis.
"I have a song too," said Discord.
"After your redemption," said Chrysalis.
"I was a reboot of the first ever villain from the first generation," said Tirek. "The one who made it the most hardcore TV cartoon in the 1980s!"
"That just shows they were out of ideas for villains," said Nightmare Moon. "They can't come up with any new villains so they bring back G1 villains. Look at the Plunderseeds. Was that the best they could do for the premier?"
"Well my G1 counterpart never ate ponies' magic," said Tirek. "He used the Rainbow of Darkness to turn ponies into demonic dragons. I work much differently than him. Besides, I am the most evil villain in the show."
"No, I am," said Sombra. "You never tried to kill Spike did you? I did, and so did your G1 counterpart."
"I still have more screentime and lines than you," said Tirek.
"You're not quite as creepy as me are you?" said Sombra.
"Or me," said Chrysalis.
"Well I'm still menacing!" said Tirek. "And I'm the most powerful villain in the show! All of you put together couldn't defeat me once I ate Twilight's magic!"
"I could if I absorbed enough love energy," said Chrysalis.
"And you only got that way by eating unicorn magic," said Sombra. "When you first appeared you were so frail you probably couldn't even lift an apple!"
"That's because I was weakened by my time in Tartarus!" said Tirek. "Which reminds me, unlike the rest of you, I neither died nor turned good!"
"I survived my fall," said Chrysalis.
"Only according to speculation and the comics who brought her back in the name of fanservice and may be non-canon," said Discord. "Besides, how could all the changelings land in the same place when they were scattered in all directions and only one went flying in the same direction as you?"
"And how do we know you didn't die, Tirek?" said Sombra.
"Because I was shown imprisoned in a cage in Tartarus," said Tirek.
"Tartarus is hell, so where would you go if they HAD killed you?" said Sombra.
"I was sent there through a portal the first time while alive," said Tirek. "And I did the same to the princesses."
"But the second time you were blasted there!" said Sombra. "They zap you with this rainbow and suddenly you appear in hell with a cage around you. Maybe Chrysalis and I have cages in Tartarus too."
"They just teleported me there!" said Tirek.
A Plunderseed facehugger began squeaking.
"He said 'I am the only character in the show that can get away with punching a speaking character in the face,'" said Discord.
"Twilight couldn't punch me in the face even though she had every reason to tear my heart out and stab me in the throat," said Tirek.
"You didn't get away with it," said Sunset Shimmer. "Twilight killed you all."
"Applejack killed the one that punched Rarity," said Discord.
"It wasn't because of the Plunderseeds, it was because of Rarity," said Nightmare Moon. "Rarity is the only speaking character who can be punched in the face. Hasbro doesn't like her as much. That's why she didn't get any episodes in Season 3 but did in Season 4 when the writers were in control. They can do to her what they can't do to villains."
"Yet Applejack's the background pony," said Chrysalis. "There are hardly any products of her in stores. There is a set of stickers that has Twilight, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, Celestia, Luna, and Cadance, but no Applejack."
"She appears in more episodes than any other character," said Sombra. "They only think she's a background pony because she doesn't have as many episodes in Season 1. On that note, she was the first character besides Twilight to have an episode revolve around her."
"How does a villain competition turn into a discussion on whether or not Applejack is a background pony?" said Tirek.
"Well the audience hates you," said Chrysalis. "You destroyed Twilight's library and sent the princesses to hell. A lot of people wanted you to die for that. They never thought such a thing about me even after what I did to Twilight, Cadance, and Shining Armor. They loved me so much they wanted me to survive."
"Yet I'm the most popular villain again," said Discord. "Even with my redemption. And Sombra and Tirek are second and third. Chrysalis is only fourth now. People even like the regular Sunset Shimmer more than the demon Sunset Shimmer."
"This isn't over!" said Tirek.
Suddenly, the holographic screens of G3 turned on.
"HORROR!" said the six villains.
