"Come on, Usagi!" Luna screamed at the blonde pig-tailed girl trailing behind her. "We have to get to Naru. Who knows what the Dark Kingdom could do to her in the time that it takes for you to get there."
Usagi panted, trying to catch her breath as her feet pounded against the concrete below her. "Huff, but Luna, huff, I don't have four legs! I can't go as quickly as you! How about you go ahead and get to Naru? You can delay the enemy while I catch up with you!"
Luna sped ahead when she heard this. "Okay! Hurry up though! I don't know how long I will be able to stop the Dark Kingdom."
The small cat raced far ahead, leaving Usagi's field of vision. Usagi was just about to give her legs another burst of speed when her sight began to go fuzzy. The streets seemed to twist and turn, the streetlights flickered as the sailor guardian felt for her broach. She had to transform before whatever monster that she thought was causing this decided to attack.
"Moon Crystal Power Make Up!" Usagi screamed and stuck her hand up into the air. She transformed, and the moment that the transformation stopped, Usagi heard a malicious laugh ring around her.
"Who's there?!"
"Oh, nobody. Just me." Nephrite revealed himself to the pretty guardian. "The man who just discovered your secret identity, Usagi Tsukino, or should I say, Sailor Moon?"
Usagi gasped when she realized with an incoming horror that she had just transformed in front of her main enemy. Nephrite stepped forward out of the darkness.
"Oh no! Uhhh... Please, Mr. Nephrite, please don't tell anyone! This can be our tiny little secret! I'll even give you some of my mom's cake!" Usagi tried to bargain with the king, but he wasn't having it.
Nephrite was thinking of his reply when he heard a voice screaming for help inside of his head. It was Naru. Nephrite waasn't sure what compelled him to go after her, but he had the feeling that he had to go. "Trust me, Usagi Tsukino, I have no desire for your mother's cake, and your secret will be safe, for now. Just remember this moment whenever you see me again. Because if I wished to, I could tell the entire Dark Kingdom your secret identity, and you will never have another moment of peace again." Nephrite disappeared once again into the darkness after his threat. Usagi stood still for only a few more moments before she remembered Naru and ran off down the street again.
Nephrite reappeared in Naru's room. He glanced around, but there was no Naru. He looked at her bed and saw a note on it. He clenched his fists when he read it.
"That conceited little bitch!" Nephrite ground out when he finished reading the note. Zoisite was demanding that he give him the dark crystal or else Naru was going to die. "So this is what those two had been planning... Why do they even think that I care about that stupid girl..." Nephrite knew what he was going to do though. He was going to go save Naru. He wasn't sure why, and he didn't care to know why. He just knew that he had to help her.
He traced her energy signature to an old abandoned store. Nephrite glanced in through an old window and saw that it was the plant sisters that were holding Naru captive. The second general had no idea what their names were, but he knew that they were some of the youma that directly served Zoisite, and by extension, Kunzite.
He planned out where he would attack. The eldest one was standing off to the side, the middle one was looking out another window, and the youngest was the one that was keeping an eye on Naru.
"If Nephrite dosen't show, can we have some fun with her?" The middle child asked the eldest, whom was also the leader.
The blue skinned one chuckled. "Sure, after all it isn't like anyone important will be missing her. May as well have some fun with her."
That was what did it for Nephrite.
He rushed down and kicked the middle girl in the gut. She keeled over, coughing out in pain. The blue one rushed over quickly, and she stabbed Nephrite in the side with her plant tendrils. Her and Nephrite threw a few more punches and kicks before she lost her footing, grabbed her sister, and teleported away. This left the youngest one, who was still in her shocked state at seeing Nephrite suddenly appear. Nephrite grabbed her and asked his questions.
"Where is Zoisite?!" He demanded.
"Ugh! Ngg... I won't even tell you..." She said, still being held against the wall.
Nephrite choked her harder. "Oh, really? Well, I suppose that you don't need to be leaving here then."
The youma's eyes widened as she began to sputter out Zoisite's location. "He... He is still in the Dark Kingdom! He said that we could handle it!"
Nephrite scoffed. "Fine then. You tell Zoisite that if he wants the crystal then he will come fight me himself. Go." He released the youma, who teleported away back to her master. Nephrite looked over to Naru. She was still passed out against the wall. Nephrite walked over to the girl just as she was blearily awakening to her surroundings. She saw Nephrite and smiled.
"I knew you would come! When those weird plant ladies came for me, I just had to think out in my head and call for you!" She exclaimed when the older man freed her. She looked at his arms, and she noticed that it was injured with green blood oozing out of the open wound. "Oh no! You're injured. Come with me. I know a place where nobody should be able to find us."
The orange haired girl lead the man out of the shop and off onto the side streets of Tokyo. They eventually lead to a park that was going to be torn down, and the two of them entered it. They went further into the thicket of trees and settled down next to a large maple tree. Naru ripped a part of her shirt off and tied it around the wound. They conversed happily, blissfully unaware of the youth that was headed their way.

"Madam Galaxia, we have found a suitable base for our operations on Earth. It is a TV studio that we will easily be able to hide out in. It has plenty of space, and we will be able to gather lots of information under the guise of just being your run-of-the-mill TV studio!" Sailor Tin Nyanko exclaimed happily to her master whenever her and Aluminum Siren returned from the blue planet to report their findings.
The gold woman nodded. "Good. Take Lead Crow and Iron Mouse along with you this time to begin searching for the target. I want him found by the end of the day." The girl in black was tossed the photo of the long haired boy. The sailors would be able to trace the boy's energy signature by using the photo.
"It will be done, milady." Tin Nyanko left to go get her fellow Sailors. They would have to hurry to meet the deadline that had been set for them.
"Come on!" She shouted, shocking all of the other people in the room that did not hear her come in. They were all sitting tin the break room that in reality was just the place that Galaxia set aside for them all to sit around and eat in. Iron Mouse glared viciously at the cat.
"What the hell is your problem?! Why do you always have to barge in whenever you feel like it, and order us around?! It is rude, and nobody likes you." She shouted angrily with her pigtails twitching.
"Hmpf. It's not my problem that you always have to be told by me what to do!" Tin Nyanko shouted back.
"We don't have to listen to you, ya know." Lead Crow stood up with Aluminum Siren right behind her. "And unless you want to get punched in the face, I would shut your mouth."
Nyanko turned away when the other girl said this. "I was still told to get you three to go find the target. So, let's go. I will search North and South America, Siren will search the Arctic and Australia, and you two can divide Europe and Asia among yourselves." She was just about to leave when Aluminum Siren asked a question.
"Uhh... But what about Africa? That is a continent, right?" She sounded uncertain. "It is, isn't it?"
"Do you really think that a white, magical being will be in Africa?" Tin Nyanko responded rudely.
"I... I guess not, but isn't that kind of racist?"
"Ugh, whatever. Just do what I told you to, Siren." Then she left.
"What a bitch, how about you take Asia and I'll take Europe." Lead Crow told Iron Mouse before turning towards Aluminum Siren. "And by the way, yes, it is racist, and yes, it does just show that the cat is a terrible person. Don't follow her example even though you like her for some idiotic reason. Now, come on Mouse. We are leaving." The two of them left through teleportation, and Siren was once again left alone.
She tilted her head to the side. "Why wouldn't I listen to Nyanko? She... She is... I don't know, cool? Amazing? Nice? I'm not sure... Why dosen't Crow want me to follow her example? Oh well, I had better get to work. I don't want Galaxia mad at me again."

"Well, well, how sweet. My eyes almost can't stand it." A young, slightly feminine, voice told the pair from the shadows.
Naru and Nephrite looked around them, trying to determine where the voice was coming from. Nephrite pinned it down when a flutter of cherry blossoms rained down from the sky. He began to glare at them when the familiar body of Zoisite appeared in the air.
"Zoisite. Go away!"
The boy laughed cruelly. "Oh, why would I? It's just so fun to watch you squirm." As he said this, the three plant women appeared on the ground behind him. "Now, hand over the dark crystal or else."
Nephrite looked over at the young girl that was standing frightened by the tree. He thought of what really mattered to him the most. The Dark Kingdom, or potentially his only chance at happiness? He stood there and contemplated his choices fora few more moments before he moved to hand the crystal over to Zoisite.
"Fine. You win, filthy rat, you can have the damn crystal." He summoned the black gem with his right hand and held it out to Zoisite.
The long haired male's eyes shimmered with the brilliance of a thousand stars. He quickly moved to grab the Dark Crystal from Nephrite's outstretched hand, and just as he was about to grab the crystal, a brilliant red rose shot out into the night. The rose traveled it's path and struck Zoisite's hand. He cried out in shock and dropped the dark object.
Tuxedo Mask chuckled and darted forward to snatch the crystal from right under Zoisite's nose.
"Thanks, Nephrite, I'll be going now." Tuxedo Mask was just about to make his exit when the three plant sisters surrounded him. They trapped him in their viney arms, ensuring that he would not be going anywhere soon.
"Oh no you won't!" A fiery voice called from the surrounding trees. "WE need the Dark Crystal, and Tuxedo Mask is our ally!"
Sailors Mars, Moon, and Mercury rushed out of the trees and into the small clearing.
"Ugh! Sailor Scouts!" Zoisite groaned. He had heard of them from Nephrite and Jadeite's reports, and he did not want to deal with them. Not tonight, at least.
"Who are you?" Sailor Mercury asked the third general. "Are you with the Dark Kingdom?"
"Yes, she is! Who else would she be? The milkmaid?" Tuxedo mask asked.
Zoisite then turned angrily to the man in the dinner tie. "How dare you?! I am a male, and I hae always been one! Now, apologize before I havwto kill you for being disrespectful!"
Tuxedo Mask did not relent though. "Oh really? I could have sworn that you were a girl. I guess that the guys in the Dark Kingdom need something, considering the lack of decent looking women that seem to exist there."
"Why you-" He did no to get to finish, however, for there was a sudden disturbance.
"Zoisite," Called a cocky, somewhat arrogant voice, from the shadows of the trees. A young girl in a black leather suit with black cat ears slowly began appear from the trees. The group could hear the dull thuds of her heels against the cold barren grounds of the park. "Come forward, and give me your star seed!"
