"I'm fine, Sammy!"
She exclaims, laughing at him and pushing his away as he tries to look her over. He's still worried, but he decides to let it go. He isn't going to push her. There's no need. She'll tell him everything.
He takes a few steps back, looking at her tiny, seemingly fragile frame. It hurts him every time she does this, but there's no use asking her to stop. He does it too, anyway.
She takes a few steps forward and then falters, and he leaps forward to catch her if she needs it. She laughs at him again, smacking his arm away and continuing forward.
He doesn't notice the way her eyes look as she continues to walk.
