Sora had trained with the bartender everyday. Gabriel had told him that the time ratio was really weird, meaning that it was different per person. It was only ever different by a few seconds though. He also said that if you trained enough, the Shadow Realm can have a time difference of one hour in the real world, and around a thousand here. Sometimes, while Sora was training, he would get strange glances from the people within the Shadow Realm. He didn't think much of it though, not really caring too much about what other people thought. He and the bartender, who called himself Gabriel, had practiced with guns for the majority of the time. A certain few they trained with scythes, and rarely ever with daggers. Sora was skeptical of this at first. He questioned Gabriel about it and Gabriel said "A Lord Shadow Wraith must be able to strike fear. We are sometimes called "Reapers" because of both The Grim Reaper, and the fact that our most common occupation is assassination. Guns and scythes tend to scare people more than daggers do, which is useful. I advise you to mostly use your guns, and scythe as backup."

Sora agree that it was useful and went with it. A few years later he and Gabriel were sent to do an assassination. It would be Sora's first. Gabriel would only watch, and be prepared incase Sora somehow failed. Sora and Gabriel were to assassinate a noble. The noble wasn't particularly difficult, since he was rather cocky. He would sometime even go out of his way to dare people to try and hurt him. Of course, they never did. Otherwise they would be a few limbs less happy than earlier. He wasn't strong, no, he was the opposite. He heavily relied on his guards, which were each powerful enough to take on roughly ten men.

Right now, they would apparently be able to take in a hundred men. But never, would they ever, be able to take in a Lord Shadow Wraith. At least, not a good one. In the Shadow Realm you can see people, but they look similar to a person made of sand standing in a tornado. They did, though, have features that could identify them as their own respective person. Sora popped behind the noble and activated [Shadow Mode]. His [Shadow Mode] was rather simple. He had the basic ankle length cloak with ripped ends and black long-sleeved shirt and black pants, along with black combat boots. He wore his hood up and his mask was orange and only revealed his right eye. It swirled into the eye, almost as if the eye was absorbing it (Basically Hooded Tobi with original mask and shredded ends of Akatsuki robes and without the clouds). He took out his scythe and put it through the nobles body. He exited the Shadow Realm and the noble didn't react for a moment. He looked down at the pain in his stomach and looked back up at the king, with whom he was conversing. He dropped to his knees to reveal Sora behind him, the scythe hung over his shoulder nonchalantly. The king felt the intense amount of dark power around the mysterious figure. Suddenly, Sora entered the Shadow Realm, seemingly going invisible. The king could hear a word floating in the air. "Angel of Death."

At first he was confused, but after a second he realized that it was probably the name of the killer who appeared in front of him. He felt so vulnerable at the moment. Someone had just entered, killed a guest in front of his eyes, and escaped. All without being seen or heard. "Lord Shadow Wraith…" He whispered.

Back with Sora, Gabriel was congratulating him on his masterful usage. Most master level Reapers could not use the technique Sora had chosen. It needed masterful execution. A single flaw could lead to many problems in the future. "It's high time I told you what my real name is. My original name is Soul Zoldyck. Now that you have proven yourself, I think you deserve to get the official title as my apprentice." Gabriel said, leading Sora down the halls of the Shadow Castle. They walked up to the guild board, each one having a title and at least one smaller name underneath. Soul scanned the walls, searching for his Reaper title. Sora noticed five different names without apprentices. Namely the God of Destruction, the Grim Reaper, and Doomsday. Eventually Soul stopped upon one of them names, writing something down. Sore looked around his hand and saw that he was writing Sora's name under the God of Destruction. The most powerful since the Grim Reaper disappeared. Sora looked up at Soul as he smiled down at him. "You're the God of Destruction…?" Sora said in disbelief. "I thought he would be handsomer."

Soul looked down at him, hurt. He wasn't particularly handsome or ugly, but was a bit more in the handsome side. He strangely had white hair and red eyes, despite being about twenty years old. He normally wore a red shirt and black pants, claiming that they were they were his main colors. He never said this but, they signified Destruction. Sora looked back up at the board and saw that Soul had written Sora's name with his alias in the side, "The Angel of Death."

Soul took him to a room he hadn't seen before, with weapons filling the walls. There were swords, scythes, guns, daggers, armor, all kinds of things really. Soul scanned the walls and picked up two guns, and handed them to me. He also picked out a set of clothing that had a design exactly like Sora's. He must have had this planned for a while. "These two guns are called The Twins. The one on your left has the ability to shoot either dark mass, or intense blasts of explosive flames. The one on the right has the ability to both dark mass, and shoot lasers that move at roughly the speed of light, but feels more like a small rock that someone through without intending to hurt you. It would hurt a bit, but mostly just stuns or confuses." He said, handing Sora the guns.

"The armor is called Nevermore, and will increase your reaction time, decrease your reload time, and block about 50% of incoming damage. To activate the armor, you must activate Shadow Mode, just like your regular suit. The guns can be used anytime."

Sora accepted them, heading towards the village to test them out. He suddenly heard a sound behind him. He spun around quickly to find a huge butterfly flying through the tree. It wasn't the rarest of things, but it was still unnerving. When he turned around, Soul appeared in front of him. Sora jumped back, unloading four bullets within a second. Soul dodged them with ease, and rolled his eyes. "You might be a good assassin, but you need to work in your speed." Soul said.

Sora rubbed the back of his head, embarrassed. They walked together for a while in silence. "You sense that, right?" Soul said, glancing to their right.

"Yeah, I do. It feels like it's sucking things in." Sora replied, looking in the same direction.

They crept forward slowly, finding a hole. Not just any hole, mind you. It was a hole in space. It was purple with a black center, and was definitely sucking things in. They looked at each other for a moment and nodded. They jumped down to floor, feeling the strain of being pulled. "Unleash your power int-" Soul said, before suddenly being sucked into the hole.

Sora acted instantly on impulse, jumping through the hole. In retrospect, it would've been better if he thought harder about it. When he landed, he landed on top Soul, causing both of them to grunt. Sora rolled off and looked around. They resided in a forest clearing. Sora spotted a few spots that would be best to avoid and was about to turn back to Soul. He never got the chance as a green blade touched his throat. Sora thought about using [Wraith Form] but decided against it. "Who are you and where did you come from?" Said a voice from behind him.

It seemed to be someone about Sora's age, and didn't have any signs of a mask. "I'm Sora, and I don't know where I am."

The voice eased it's grip slightly. The voice was contemplating whether to believe him or not. "Well… Alright, fine. I must take what you say as true, at least until proven otherwise."

"My name is Katsuo. Welcome to the, uh, forest?" The voice said, letting him go.

Sora stood up and brushed himself off, noticing how Soul had fallen asleep. "Could you tell me where I am? Tell me as much as you can." Sora said.

"Well… you're on planet Kare, country New America. Not any particular state, this location is between a few of them." Katsuo said, sheathing his blade.

Katsuo was a lean figure, clearly built for speed. He had to blades, an average one strapped across his back, and a short one on his waist. He had distinctively sky blue hair with pink highlights. He was rather pale and had green eyes. He wore a black and green shirt and grey and green pants. He seemed to really like green. Also, the name Kare and New America were unfamiliar to Sora. The two of them shook hands before looking down at Soul. Soul was drooling in his sleep, mumbling happily. Not a state you would expect a legendary reaper to be in. Soul had been knocked unconscious when Sora had fallen on him.
