Blizzard thought holding Snowflake would be easy but it was completely opposite. Her knocked out figure was like a dead weight to him, pulling him down, slowing him. He thought of the punishments he would receive if he was caught as he flew down yet another corridor; turning left in a fork, he stopped outside of a very intricate door.

It had all the snowflake patterns known to man carved delicately on the door. Placing Snowflake on the floor, he grabbed a bit of pixie dust from a pouch and sprinkled it on. The snowflakes began to glow and the carving lines grew until they were wide enough to fit an actual snowflake. He created some frost and made multiple snowflakes, identical to the ones on the door. When everything was precise, he placed the snowflakes into the carved wedges and the door shook fiercely, shaking Snowflake out of her unconscious state. The door faded away, knowing that he couldn't be caught, he whispered in Snowflakes ear,

"I'll be back for you, whether you like it or not..."

On that note, he flew inside, somehow making the door reappear again. Snowflake was conflicted. She was happy that she was free yet terrified of what Blizzard would do next. She sat there, thinking over her emotions and whether or not she would go find the rest of the ministers. Staring at a distance, her body was tired and chilled to the bone, eventually collapsing on the hard floor.

~Meanwhile~

"Queen Clarion!" Redleaf cried as he shook the Queen from her dazed state. Noticing her eyes clear up, he pulled her up and grabbed her arm, flying down the corridors to find Snowflake again. The more corridors he flew past, the more worried he got. Sweat beads started to form on his forehead and anxiety took over his emotions.

What happens if she s gone forever? He thought. The anxiety attack somehow gave him more adrenaline as he dragged Queen Clarion down more halls. Snaking past corners, he somehow found himself staring straight at a ice door, snowflake designs engraved on it. The patterns were glowing and cold air rushed from inside. Feeling Queen Clarion's grip slip from his hand, she flew forwards, touching the door and mumbling incoherent sayings.

All of a sudden the door burst open again. Unlike the other room, this one was lit eerily with flaming torches. They were the only source of light and it showed the room spiralled down. The wind whistled from inside as Redleaf took it all in. Queen Clarion broke his line of thought,

"Minister, where do you think Snow is?"

"I don't know, I think she was captured by Blizzard one way or another." Pausing he asked her his own question,

"My Queen, why does Blizzard keep doing this to her?"

"Blizzard, as you know was the Minister of winter only for a short period of time. He was very proud of this status but when Snowflake arrived here and became his apprentice, he took her arrival as something else. He thought of it as a sign where he wasn't going to last as minister for a long time. Seeking revenge, he harmed her, many times over. It wasn't until the third time I found out that she was being abused."

As the queen spoke, thoughts ran through Redleaf's mind, How did I not know of this? "I kept an eye out for Snowflake from then on; counting the multiple bruises or change in personality from time to time. At one point, I was rounding a corner when I saw her break down, Blizzard cornering her. I charged forwards and questioned Blizzard. Seeing as Snowflake was more than ready, I exiled Blizzard and she became Minister of winter."

"So Blizzard never faded away?"

"Apparently not dear minister considering you have seen him around."

A cold air rushed between them, alerting the pair. The lights in the room went off all at once. A vision gripped Redleaf. It was very fast paced; leading down the darkened room, twisting and turning until it reached a faintly lit clearing. He came out of the vision shaking. Turning to Queen Clarion's shocked face he whispered two words, follow me.
