Ghirahim looked curiously down at the boy, rubbing his chin thinking. What would break this child? What would cause him the most physical and mental pain? What would make him speak? He of course knew this could be a long process for one as stubborn as this, and although he would like to drag it out and toy with him, he needed answers as soon as he could. His masters spirit was growing weaker. He could feel it.

His thoughts trailed off as he watched the boy struggle to get off the ground. His back raw and bleeding profusely, deep gashes ripped his flesh apart. And still this child was attempting to stand. The blood running down his skin looked absolutely appetizing, and he was half tempted to take a taste. He watched him, grinning, as he used the wall to help him stand. It was obvious any movement made the pain in his back worse. And Ghirahim loved it.

"What the hell are you looking at?" Link snapped angrily up at him.

"Just how delicious you look right now..." The demon lord ran his tongue over his pale lips. Link shuddered in disgust.

"Oh I'm sorry does that make you uncomfortable?" He said walking towards the boy. Link stepped back, obviously distressed, and Ghirahim knew this would be too easy.

"Aww the poor boy doesn't like close contact does he?" He said standing right in front of Link. He could tell Link wanted to step back away from him, but he stood his ground. Ghirahim reached out and laid his cold hand on links face, which he could tell made him wan to run, but he stayed still, looking at him with hate.

"Poor scared sky child..." He said quietly. Ghirahim slowly ran his hand up into his messy blonde hair, in a mock love sort of way. He could tell how terrified the boy was by his heartbeat. His face stayed Stoney but he couldn't hide his rapid heart.

Link quickly brought his arm up to push his hand away, but Ghirahim grabbed his wrist, with a vice grip.

"As if I would stoop so low as to do something so foul with a human," he said lowly. "I think some time alone with your thoughts is needed. Maybe you will change your mind then..."

He laughed, then with the snap of his fingers, disappeared. To really get to the child, he would need to weaken him first.

Link had never been so happy to see him leave.

But now what? He dropped down to sit on the cold floor. His back hurt more then any pain he had felt thus far in his life. He slowly made his way to grab his white undershirt and slipped it on. He didn't like the way that 'man' looked at him. He felt dirty, even just the hand on his face was enough to freak him out. He moved very carefully, if the material from his shirt rubbed his back, it sent searing pain across it. But he finally relaxed enough to close his eyes. And after a few uneasy hours, he succumbed to sleep.

Sleep was bliss, he didn't hurt and he could pretend he wasn't locked in this hell. He dreamed about his best friend and how things could have been if they didn't have this great destiny to fufill.

Waking up was horrible. His hands were numb from cold, his body curled in a tight ball. He finally decided to get up off the floor, at least the cold stone couldn't press against his skin.

The sharpness of the pain in his back was gone but it still ached terribly. That along with his stomach rumbling made for a very uncomfortable person.

He was more thirsty then hungry, his throat was dry and his head was beginning to hurt. How long had he slept? He finally stood all the way up and looked around. The room was dark except for a few small candles lit along the walls. He slowly walked around and touched all the walls for any means of escape. Nothing but hard tile. Since Ghirahim could appear anywhere he wanted, there was obviously no need for a door.

Of course there was no escaping. That evil man would see to that. Link could not even get the dried blood off his sides, there was nothing, just an absolutely empty room.

Maybe it was hours, maybe it was days, Link waited. Waited for something, anything to happen. He had no idea what time of day it was, where he was, what was happening, all he knew was that he was going to die if he stayed in here much longer. He was very dehydrated. Very cold.

He had put his tunic back on for warmth but the chain mail was so cold he didn't bother with it.

After what felt like weeks in solitude, finally Ghirahim made his appearance.

"Made up your mind yet, boy? Going to talk yet?" He asked calmly.

"I'm not telling you a damn thing! Let me out of here, now!" Link yelled, making his throat burn painfully, more then angry now. His hatred boiled in his veins, he wanted to hurt this man so badly...

"Aw, didn't like being alone for those two days huh?" Ghirahim cooed.

"You know I'd let you out of here if you would only give me information...I guess I'll have to stop being so nice and crack down on you a bit..."

Before Link could do anything, he felt himself being pushed on his back to the stone floor, his back collided painfully with the floor, making some of his cuts reopen and sting painfully. He struggled to get up but realized with dread his wrists and ankles were tied with some kind of metal to the floor. He could not move them an inch.

"That's better, now you can't squirm," he heard Ghirahim say. His footsteps grew closer and links heart beat frantically.

Ghirahim knew he was getting weak, his struggles weren't as strong as the first day he was here. He was thirsty, hungry, tired. All of this would help make it easier to break him down. He knew what he was doing. This would be too fun.

"I think you need taught a lesson, child..." He walked over to the struggling boy and stood over him.

Link did not like being exposed like this, unable to defend himself. Panic was overtaking him quickly, expecially when he saw Ghirahim hovering so closely over him.

He watched as the pale man leaned down beside him. His heart beat frantically as Ghirahim made a dagger appear in his hand, he twisted it around, a sick grin on his face. And without warning, he plunged the dagger right below links collar bone near his shoulder. Link could not stop the piercing yell that escaped his dry lips. He had never felt such agony in his life. And as Ghirahim slowly pushed the blade deeper, Link's vision began to grow blurry, his stomach churning sickeningly.

"Do you want me to stop?" Ghirahim said, holding the dagger in his body tightly. "Or should I keep going?" At that he began to twist the blade, Link was sure he would pass out from pain. Another yell of agony through gritted teeth.

Just tell him to stop, this hurts too bad! His mind yelled at him, but he couldn't! That would show him weakness, and he could not do that, he could not let his friend down like that!

He pushed past the pain, not allowing his mouth to speak what it desperately wanted to say.

"I'll...n-never tell you...anything!" He forced out, trying to even his breath. Ghirahim only laughed and removed the blade, blood poured out of the wound sickly, running onto the ground, soaking links back and hair. He began to get woozy from blood loss. His body began to still.

"Aw can't have you passing out before we get done," Ghirahim said, plucking a bottle out of thin air and grabbed the boy's face, pouring it's contents into links mouth. He choked a bit on it and some of it sputtered out. But it was enough potion to keep him conscious.

"You bastard!" Link yelled, "you sick fucking bastard!"

He was met with a hard smack across the face.

"Kill me! I don't care! I'm never talking!" He yelled still.

He felt Ghirahim grab his face and force him to look at him. He pressed the blade to links neck where it bit into his skin uncomfortably.

"I'm not killing you, boy, oh no this is too much fun! I'm going to just torture you within an inch of your life and listen to you tell me everything I need to know..." His sick grin made links stomach churn again.

"Let me up, now!" Link yelled. "Let me have a chance to fight back!"

Ghirahim rubbed his chin.

"I suppose your right. This is too easy, maybe ill have more fun if I have a moving target," he snapped and the chains dissapeared. He stepped back allowing Link to sit up. As soon as he began to stand, Ghirahim kicked him and knocked him back down, laughing.

Link fell painfully to the floor again, holding his aching wound. He used the wall to help him up a little more quickly this time.

But now what? He couldn't defend himself, much less fight in his condition. He held his hand over his wound that was spilling blood through his fingers, dripping down his chest. He felt sick.

"You didn't think this plan through did you?" Ghirahim taunted. "Don't you see? You can never win! There is no getting out of this one!" He laughed. Link quickly stepped forward and threw a punch at him with his good arm, but Ghirahim expected it and grabbed his wrist.

"You still think you have a chance don't you?" Link heard him say. He didn't think he had ever hated anything so much in his life as this being in front of him.

Ghirahims grip tightened uncomfortably.

"But your wrong sky child...dead wrong..." His grip tightened further and he twisted Link's arms painfully. Link squeezed his eyes closed for a moment, trying to ignore this new pain.

"I want you to bow down now link. Bow down in front of your captor...in front of your new master..." He twisted his wrist more causing shooting pain to go up links arm. Struggling to get away made it worse.

"No..." Link gritted his teeth against the pain. A sudden sharp twist sent him down to his knees without warning.

"Oh now that's more like it..." Ghirahim said quietly. "That wasnt so bad now was it?" He was laughing. His grip loosened on his arm and link yanked it free and stood up. He was sure just a twitch more would have broken his arm, and he needed at least one good arm to fight back.

"Now that you have been a good boy, I'm going to give you a reward." Link watched him carefully as he summoned up a large wooden trough of water. The kind an animal would drink out of.

Links throat burned painfully at the site of the crystal water.

"I'm not drinking anything from you." He said firmly. His body nearly ached at his words.

"You will or I will make you," Ghirahim said quietly. Link stared at the man in hate. He wasnt taking anything from him. He didn't care if he died of thirst.

Ghirahim stepped towards him and link quickly stepped back, but he wasnt quick enough, Ghirahim grabbed him by the back of his hair, and practically dragged him up to the trough. He kicked Link in the back of the legs forcing him to fall on his knees again. Link tried to struggle against him, but he was too strong, he forced Link's head under the water and held it firmly making him struggle furiously, unable to breath, his yells getting lost in the water. After what felt like a full minuet, his lungs began to burn, he needed air now. Just as he couldn't take it any longer and almost drew in a breath full of water, he felt his head being pulled back above the surface. He gasped and sputtered, coughing water from his mouth. His lungs burnt badly as he wiped the water from his face.
