"So," Jaden pulled his knapsack over his shoulder with an arrogant pose. "Who was going to be kicked out?" The ignorance in his voice swarmed with authority like he was commanding Cobra to say it for the second time.

The room was silent. They were stunned like being hit by Pikachu's thunderbolt.

"I knew you'd come." Johan slipped his hands up to the back of his head.

The brunette uttered a small laugh and met each other's gazes. Mutual understanding seems to be going smoothly.

"Jaden Yuki, I doubt you have the authority to stand there and act like you heard nothing of what I've said." The officer in command was imposing to Jaden that he should come up on stage and start the duel immediately.

The cold war started as Cobra flashed the red flag. Jaden was glaring at Cobra for reasons known only to him and the snake.

The hot atmosphere continued with nothing but the silent glares. Both of them weren't angry. Just a pair of lions scratching each other for authority.

Little by little, Jaden was curling his lips into an evil grin. The first thing that came out was a 'pfft' then a powerful laugh that indicated mockery.

"Sorry, sorry." He was laughing his heart out. "I just came here to be an audience." Now he was wiping a tear. "You should invite someone else."

And thus, a civil war. "What are you implying?" Cobra was all steam and red.

For the second time, the audience were shocked. Jaden duel freak was refusing a duel. He must be sick, everyone thought.

"It's as you heard." The clacking of his shoes walked towards the audience's sit. "Even if you wag me that Gem-boy's cards."

"Why you-" Cobra was halted.

"Hey!" Johan dubbed an objection. "I want to duel you myself." He wanted to duel. With Jaden who was refusing it.

This made Jaden thinking with a smile. 'It'll be interesting anyway.' He chuckled. "I guess I can't reject that little favour."

"Sweet." It sounded like Johan whistled this one out as he reached for his duel disk.

"But you'll pay me back." Jaden retorted.

On his side, Cobra was chanting curses for Jaden's death. 'It doesn't matter.' He shrugged the matter at hand. 'As long as they fight a long duel.'

Jaden searched his bag for an academy-issued duel disk and came walking to the duel arena. "I have one question, though." He put the duel disk in his arm. "What deck do you think I'm using?"

The question, although it was for Johan, struck a big question mark for the crowd. They knew the answer without him asking so why even ask?

"Isn't it the famous Elemental Heroes?" Obvious as it was, Johan still answered.

Jaden smirked. He was up to something. "Really?"

Johan sensed that something was up. He can't point it out but Jaden looks like he's planning something. Their duel disks were in hot-on.

"Before the duel begins," Cobra stepped in like he regained some cool composure. "I would like both of you to wear these."

It was a silver bracelet with a blue stone embedded in the middle. "It is called a bio-band."

Johan reached for the bracelet like it was normal to just take it and wear it. He wore it on his right hand and it locked. "Think of it as a bracelet."

'It's more like a shackle if you ask me.' Jaden held one of the bio-bands and twirled it upside down. He inspected it like it was hiding some switches. After he settled down on the band, he wore it like he was disgusted.

"Now, Let the duel begin!"

AN: Ahaha. Sucks, i know. And a cliff hanger. I'm kinda troubled on what deck Jaden would use. That's the reason why I cut this one short. Is it the M-heroes? E(as in evil) heroes? V-heroes? or a whole new different heroes made by me? And if I would use the M-heroes then i'd need to device a duel from it. *sigh* I love you guys so much so maybe i'll create new cards? I'm free for suggestions ya know?
