Maria's POV
I'm woken up abruptly by the sounds of bells going off. I look to Robin quickly, he's looking all around the room rapidly. "Robin was going on." I note the worried tone in my voice, he must have heard me because he looked at me hastily. "Maria those bell's mean that there's an attack." I start to panic, what are we going to do. "Marie we need to go. Follow me."
And with that he immediately gets out of the bed and starts walking towards the wardrobe in the corner of his room., he slowly opens the door to it and pushes all the clothes out of the way. I look over his shoulder and see him push something against the wall.
A door appeared at the back of the wardrobe, Robin started to go in to it. "Maria come on this will take in to the forest near the moon princess tree. And Maria please try to stay quit and move fast even though it's dark." Robin said in a quit voice.
As I walk through the door of the hidden door in the wardrobe Robin step in behind me. Once he was through the door it closed, I turned around and took a look at the door, it was stone and had vines all over on it. I started to follow Robin when I thought 'what's going to happen to Loveday, Uncle, Wrolf, and what about Maraduke. "Robin what about the others, what about Loveday and the others. We need to go back and get them." as I say this he seems to think about it for a moment. "Maria the others will be safe, but we need to hurry." As Robin say's this I hear the stone door being forced open. We turn to look around at the door, and two large animal shadows stepped out into the tunnel.
Robin grabbed my arm and yanked it, telling me to run quickly. As we run from them we can hear the pounding of paws or feet what every they are hitting the ground. I turn around and see that they are right behind us, but I can't make out what they are. Robin pushes me to go faster, I look back at the end of the tunnel. We are about ten feet away from the door...six feet...four feet...we reach the door. Robin briskly opens the door to the Moon princess tree, hurries me through the door and swiftly closes it behind him.
We can hear what ever was chasing us smash into the door. I quickly run over to the bed and sit on it with my back on the headboard. "Robin what are we going to do next." I look over at Robin, he's quickly running around the room making sure all the windows are locked and closed tightly.
"We wait until someone comes to get us or until for the sun to rise." I sat there thinking for awhile, I guess Robin noticed I was quit. He came over and sat by me, putting his arm around me once he was next to me on the small bed.
"Maria don't be worried about the others, they will be fine I promise. So what do you want to do while we wait." I had to think about that...I got it. "Robin why don't we play twenty questions, you go first." I could tell he was thinking about what to ask me, by the way his nose scrunched up and the way he bite his bottom lip... wait did I just think that. I can already tell this is going to be a long night.
