Fraz woke up in his new room, the bed was large and had about five pillows.
"Hey kid, time to wake up!" Phil shouted.
"Woah, you startled me!" Fraz yelped.
"Sorry, but I needed to tell you, I have to go sell my wares and you should come with me." Phil said.
"Alright I'm coming..." Fraz changed out of his pajamas and instead put on one of Phil's robes and sandals. The two popped out of the sand where a wagon was. Phil went back inside and back out, carrying stuff to the wagon.
"I can sell twice as much now that I have you here." Phil gave Fraz a large bag of goods to carry, Fraz struggled a bit, it was heavier than it looked. However, he managed to put it in the wagon. "Thanks, kid."
Fraz sighed and poked his toes at the ground.
"Hey, I didn't mean to be so hard on you, I tend to get bossy when I'm working... That's how I lost my last partner." Phil said.
"It's not that... I'm worried about my brother." Fraz said quietly.
"I'm sure he's fine." Phil grabbed the wagon's two handles. "Now help me pull! Please..."
Fraz nodded and began pulling with Phil. Phil was doing most of the work, but Fraz still grunted from exhaustion.
"How do you do this every day?" Fraz panted.
"Lots of practice." Phil answered.
Guapo drove the Hoog to the Sand Land.
"Okay, I'm here. Now to find Fraz. If only I could remember where Phil's home is..." Guapo said. "Wow, without a brother I sure talk to myself a lot."
Meanwhile Fraz was panting heavily as he pulled the wagon.
"Just a little further... Not going to let this dumb old wagon bring me down!" Fraz shouted.
"Need any water?" Phil asked.
"Sure." Fraz sighed. Phil gave him some bottled water and he drank almost half of it. "Thanks, but don't worry about me, I can pull wagons in my sleep! I'd pull it myself if I have to!"
"Go ahead then." Phil offered. Fraz gulped but he started pulling. He barely made it move. "Are you sure you don't want me to help?"
"No! I can do it!" Fraz grunted.
"Then pick up the pace! I need to trade with the ice cream man!" Phil snapped his fingers.
Fraz panted and fell over. Phil shook his head and picked him up.
"I think we need a break..." Phil sighed. Fraz reluctantly nodded.
Phil took out his bottle of water again and poured a generous amount on Fraz who sighed from relief. Usually he would be angry at someone for pouring water on his head, but after suffering through the heat of two suns it felt rewarding.
"You probably need more practice. Maybe I'll do the rest on my own." Phil suggested.
"Actually, maybe I'm not cut out for this." Fraz teared up. "I miss my old job, I miss Miss Boomdeyay, and Valerina, and Squeege, and especially Guapo!"
"Frazzy! I'm here!" Guapo called and panted.
"Speak of the devil." Phil muttered.
"Fraz, I'm sorry I haven't been the best brother... But please don't replace me, I promise I'll do better!" Guapo begged on his knees.
"Replace you?" Fraz was confused.
"You never wanted me as a brother, so you're adopting Phil instead!" Guapo answered.
"Little brother, I never mean it when I say those things!" Fraz went over to Guapo and gave him a hug. "I'm sorry, I didn't know it would eventually hurt you! I idolize Phil, but I need you more."
"It's okay, Fraz, I still need to be a better brother." Guapo sighed.
"Let's both be better brothers." Fraz held out his hand.
"Deal." Guapo shook Fraz's hand.
"No!" Phil shouted. "For years I've been alone and now the only guy who understands me and sees me as a role model is leaving!? I don't think so!"
Phil grabbed Fraz's hand.
"No! Fraz is coming home with me! With his family!" Guapo retorted as he grabbed Fraz's other hand.
"Guys?" Fraz whimpered.
"Fraz needs someone who understands him and can protect him from doom!" Phil argued as he pulled Fraz.
"Exactly! Fraz and I have known each other since mom laid our egg!" Guapo pulled Fraz back. The two kept playing tug-of-war with the smaller Flub, but Phil was stronger, he grabbed Fraz and ran off.
"Fraz is my brother now!" Phil said crazily.
"Come back with my brother!" Guapo growled.
"Don't I get a say in this?" Fraz asked quietly.
