The Unknown

Hello, everyone who reviews says they are looking forward to more So here you are! MORE! P.S. Sorry, it has a lot of talking in it. It explains a bit though.

"Dude, why's you're hair all wet?" Henry said suspiciously circling Will.

"Well… you see we…Abby and ahhh… Magnus is she up yet?"

"Yes, William. But she does have a name you know." Magnus put the emphasis on she looking at her colleague with slight disappointment in his attitude towards Anna.

"Right, Amy."

"NO! Anna!" rang the voice of the teen in question.

Spinning around to face the girl, Will went to speak but was cut off by his boss. "Anna, you shouldn't be out of bed darling."

"I know… it's just."

"Just what?"

"I don't feel…"

"Anna!" Magnus said in a concerned tone as she ran to steady her. "Are you alright?" Now holding Anna's arm, with her free arm wrapping around the young girls waist, and leading her into the infirmary and sat her on the bed.

"Yes, I'm alright. Thank you."

Looking around the now full room Magnus looked at Will, indicating to him he was meant to now talk. "Am… Anna, we would like to ask you a few questions, if you're up to it."

"I am. Please, what would you like to know Doctor Zimmerman?"

"Will, call me Will." Anna nodded apologetically and he continued. "How did you get here?"

"I teleported."

Henry chimed in "But I thought it wasn't possible for you control your ability?" Rather matter-of-factly.

"It took a lot of concentration, and I wasn't even sure I could do it. I had your location in my mind; I closed my eyes, held my breath and teleported. It wasn't until I was inside and saw Doctor Magnus that I knew it had worked."

"Oh" is all Henry could say, as he felt as though he had just been shot down by a teenage girl. Which, he had.

Will, silently laughing at his friend continued. "So, Anna, how did you find out about the Sanctuary?"

"I was told. I was told to come to you, and that you could help me. Which, you have. So he was right."

This got everyone's attention, and caused Kate to stand bolt up from leaning on Biggie, causing her to momentarily lose her balance. This time Magnus asked the question. "Who told you about us darling?"

Noticing the sudden mood change of the adults, Anna was cautious to answer, and hesitated.

"Anna, it's alright, we won't get mad. Just tell us who told you about our Sanctuary." Magnus used her most motherly tone to coax an answer out of the rattled young girl.

Steering down at her hands, Anna started to pick her nails. "I… I can't remember his name."

"What'd he look like? Or sound like?" Kate blurted.

"He was tall, and he wore a black coat, well, he was wearing all black and it was dark, so I couldn't properly see his face."

Looking up, Anna got a reassuring nod from the brunette doctor that she had become fond of, who was now sitting with her on the bed. "His voice, it was like yours." She said nodding in the direction of Magnus. "And he told me all about you all, and what you did here."

At this, everyone knew who had sent Anna to them. John.

Walking hastily down the long corridors of the Sanctuary, with her high-heeled shoes that she always wore when working, making a soft noise on the old carpet she had laid when she was 132, Magnus was being tailed by her four colleagues and friends. As they neared the end of the corridor the five turned into Magnus office and dispersed, all finding a seat. Magnus placed herself behind her desk, Henry and Kate in the two seats in front of the desk, Will leaning on the window rim and finally Big Guy standing near the back of the room.

It was Will who spoke first, slightly exasperated. "That guy. He… He…"

"Will, John didn't hurt her, all he did was tell her where to get help." Magnus explained.

Kate joined in, whilst tucking her legs under herself on the chair as she always did. Magnus smiled at this as she noticed. "And he must have helped her get here, like teach her to teleport properly?"

"Are we talking about the same person here?" Will asked rather harshly, which made his boss slightly mad. She had married the guy after all. "Will, please. Kate has a point, as far as we know, and as far as I can tell Anna could not control her teleporting except when she came here."

For the first time in a while, Biggie contributed to the conversation. "Did she come herself?"

Magnus looked at Henry, who had his hands clasped up by his nose, and was steering through his thumbs, at the wall behind her. "Henry?"

"Oh, Sorry." Henry said snapping out of his trance like state. "I reviewed the security tapes of the time Anna turned up and it just shows her appearing smack into a tree."

"Wait" Interjected Will. "How did she get through the EM Shield?"

"The shield has weak times every so often; I guess she was just lucky."

This sent the whole room quiet, as everyone in it was now in deep thought. Could Druitt have known about the fluctuation in the EM shield? Was Anna another part of another plan to get Helen back? What happens now?
