"Sonata?" A voice asked, "Where are you?" The owner of the voice looked around, before she heard the noise of someone sobbing, and followed it to a darkened corner of the library.

"Sonata," The voice asked, "Is that you crying?" No response.

"It's okay, I'm not going to hurt you." The voice assured, "I just want to talk." A soft whimper.

"I know you didn't want to Duel," The voice continued, "So can we talk?" As she said that, a cyan face with purple eyes popped out from behind a bookshelf. Emerald Breeze then took off her Duel Disk and put it on a nearby table.

"See?" She reassured, "I don't want to hurt you. What those two did was wrong." As she said this, she walked towards Sonata slowly, arms open.

"I just want to be your friend," Emerald soothed, "So I'm here for you." At that point, the former Siren broke down, causing Emerald to rush forward and envelope Sonata in a comforting embrace.

"Shhhhh…" Emerald whispered, "It's okay."

"Why are you doing this for me?" Sonata asked, teary-eyed, "I was so mean to you"

"Because, in the words of one of my close friends," Emerald replied, "Everybody deserves a bit of kindness from time to time." At that, Sonata tightened her grip on Emerald, and cried harder.

"Shhhhh…" Emerald murmured, "I'm here for as long as you need me to be."

After a few minutes, Emerald helped Sonata to her feet.

"Come on," She stated, "Let's go see the others."

"Do we have to?" Sonata asked, "I know that you were nice to me, I don't think your friends would be the same."

"I can prove you wrong easily." Emerald replied, "First, both Sunset and this world's Twilight were turned into power-hungry demons, Starlight Glimmer used her magic to brainwash an entire village into giving up their Cutie Marks, and when that failed, change history to make sure that the Rarity, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Applejack, and Pinkie Pie didn't receive their Cutie Marks, Screwball is the daughter of Discord, and Mothball is the ex-Prince of the Changelings."

"Wow," Sonata stated, "You have really forgiving friends."

"Yep!" Emerald replied, "But I wouldn't trade them for the world."

"Okay," Sonata whispered, "I guess we can talk to them."

"Let's go then!" Emerald exclaimed, walking to the entrance of the school, Sonata following behind.

Location: Mirror Portal, Canterlot High

Date: 10:45 A.M., 4/24/19

"Do you think Emerald's okay?" Twilight asked.

"She's fine." Speda replied, "Have faith in my little sister." As she said this, Emerald walked out of the school, Sonata close behind.

"I'm guessing it went well then?" Speda whispered to her sister figure.

"Yep!" Emerald Breeze replied, excited.

"Does this mean that we have a new friend now?" Pinkie asked.

"Yes it does Pinkie," Princess replied, "Yes it does."

"Yay!" Pinkie exclaimed, "We can have a party now!"

"Yes we can." Emerald confirmed, before whispering to Sonata, "See, I told you they would accept you."

"And you were right." Sonata whispered back.
