Deep within the Galaxy Cauldron; Guardian Cosmos was searching for something and found it. She gathered into Her hands Star Seeds and cradled them as if they were babies to her bosom.

*Things are not always what they seem;* said Guardian Cosmos as She took the Star Seeds to a portal, *It is time to set things right, it is time you were properly reborn!*

The Star Seeds were released into the portal that led to the Time Stream and the Time Stream made sure these Star Seeds were set to be born into the proper time of their mortal birth.

A loophole within Time was set…

Tsukino, Ikuko gazed upon the newborn girl that she held in her arms before turning her gaze to the body of the birthmother who had passed bringing the child into the world. Ikuko understood the meaning of being an orphan as she had lost her parents at a tender age and she became the ward of the Tsukino Clan.

But she was treated differently for her father was an American and that made her half-outsider, she could have been sent to an orphanage or shipped to an American orphanage; yet clan honor demanded that Ikuko be taken into the Tsukino Clan. Growing up Ikuko had to earn her keep and was treated like a servant by the Head of the Tsukino Clan as soon as she was able to walk and talk; Ikuko was required to do all the menial chores with the other servants before and after school.

Ikuko cooked and clean, she washed and mended clothes, she served food and drink; by sunset she was allowed to work on her homework and sleep a few minutes before she was up before the sun to get breakfast ready. It was a hard life and Ikuko was taught to never complain; she was told growing up that she must be grateful that she was even allowed to be apart of a prestigious clan like the Tsukino Clan.

By the time Tsukino, Ikuko graduated from college at the age of twenty-two; she was married to Tsukino, Kenji who was a third cousin within the clan. Ikuko was a good and faithful wife; she became a housewife while Kenji worked in the newspaper business that was owned by the Tsukino Clan.

But on that Halloween night; Ikuko was betrayed by her husband after catching him in a passionate embrace with another woman during an annual Halloween costume party for the company. Ikuko was dressed as the Moon Goddess Selene; she made a white dress with a bow on the top of the bodice and it was adorn with a crescent brooch, she carefully drew and painted a yellow upturn crescent moon upon her brow.

Tsukino, Kenji matched with his wife by going as the shepherd Endymion and they made a beautiful couple at that party; until a woman dressed as a sexy devil seduced Kenji. Ikuko knew her husband was handsome and women would do anything to gain his attention; she and he were married right after college, and neither of them had ever gone on dates.

Yet Ikuko could not get rid of the image of her husband with that woman practically having sex against the wall at the party nor could she forget the stunned guilty look on Kenji's face when he saw her catching him. She fled to the park that night and that was when Ikuko met the pregnant woman; the strange woman was very pregnant but she was also nearly skins and bones.

Ikuko wasted no time in getting the woman to a hospital where she went into labor and Ikuko stayed by the stranger's side until the child was born. The woman gripped Ikuko's hand tightly before she passed and now Ikuko held the child in her arms, and decided to adopt the child as her own.

"You may not have been born of me but I know that I will love you as my own, my little Justice…my little Seigi;" said Ikuko with a smile as she gazed into the child's red eyes and the child gave a gurgling coo towards the woman.

Four Years Later…

Tsukino, Ikuko was watching her adopted daughter Seigi play on the swing set as she gave a tired sigh. The Tsukino Clan has been demanding that Ikuko provides a male heir to Kenji soon but she could not bring herself to be with her husband.

Tsukino, Kenji had tried to make amends with his wife and had promised to never cheat on her again; he even claimed Seigi as his adopted daughter to save face with the clan. But Kenji somehow managed to break his promise; Ikuko was summoned to the Main House of the Tsukino Clan and Seigi was watched over by the Governess as she met with the Tsukino Patriarch.

Grandfather Tsukino was a stern traditionalist and he wanted to make sure that the Tsukino Clan will live on through the sons. Ikuko had to sit through a lecture on the duties of a wife and got a rare compliment on her skills as a Mother to her adopted daughter.

Then the order was given; Ikuko was ordered to bear a son to Kenji and provide a male heir to the Tsukino Clan, there were many male heirs to the clan and daughters to provide alliances. But Ikuko's mother was the Elder Daughter and Ikuko was expected to do her duty to the Tsukino Clan by erasing her mother's betrayal by providing a son.

Yet when she got home with Seigi; Ikuko found a trail of clothing leading upstairs to the master bedroom. A feeling of dread settled on the Tsukino woman when she opened the door and saw Kenji in passionate bliss as he was being ridden by a beautiful brunette.

"Daddy;" exclaimed Seigi in shock and startled the lovers to see Ikuko at the door with the child.

Before Kenji could say anything; Ikuko fled the house with her daughter and that was how she ended up in the park alone with Seigi. Her husband had broken his promise to her again, he betrayed her again and the Tsukino Clan wants her to bear him a son.

"I refuse to be used like a servant, I will not become a breeding mare;" said Ikuko as she turned her eyes to the Moon, "I wish to bear a child that no man can claim paternity to!"

"Wish granted;" chorused three female voices from the night…

A glowing star came from no where and flew towards Ikuko; the woman had no time to move or say anything when the star struck below her belly button. Ikuko placed a hand over her womb as she felt a warmth settle within her and three female voices chorused from nowhere: "You now bear our daughter and your husband will soon pay for his adultery!"

Tsukino, Ikuko and Seigi were walking home, and paused as they gazed upon the house that was a wedding gift from the Tsukino Clan. Ikuko laid a hand over her womb and felt the warmth of life that had settled within her; her wish for a child was granted and now she bore a daughter.

The Tsukino Clan will not be happy that she did not obey them but Ikuko was tired of being used and abused. She looked at Seigi who looked up at her and a decision was made; Ikuko was taking her children and leaving forever.

They went to the house and found it empty; Ikuko packed Seigi's bags and her own, everything was set when a knock came to the door.

"Are you, Mrs. Tsukino?" asked one officer and Ikuko answered curiously: "Yes…Is something wrong?"

"There was a traffic accident about an hour ago;" explained the other officer, "your husband and another woman with him were involved!"

"Are they alright?" inquired Ikuko a bit worried and the first officer replied: "I'm sorry, madam, neither of them made it!"

Ikuko felt sad for her husband but no tears were shed as she already cried enough; she asked: "What happened?"

"Your husband was giving a woman a ride and from the car's dash-cam that survived; they were arguing while your husband was driving," explained the second officer and his partner added with a slight scowl: "Apparently your husband was having an affair with the woman for four years and he was trying to end the relationship; I guess his mistress did not take the news well and the end result was a fight that caused the accident!"

"That's because my daughter and I walked in on them after we got home;" said Ikuko sourly and she added with a growl: "I was being ordered by the Tsukino Clan to bear Kenji a male heir as soon as possible, but he had betrayed me twice and he was my third cousin I was forced to marry right after college!"

The two officers glanced at Seigi and Ikuko quickly explained: "Seigi is my adopted daughter; I adopted her after her mother passed and my husband betrayed me the first time!"

"My advise;" said the first officer with a nod, "move the other side of Japan, the Tsukino Clan don't know of the accident yet and we won't let them know you are still alive!"

"You're lucky, Ms. Tsukino, this saves you from having to go through the divorce courts;" said the second officer with a wink and his partner head-slapped him before they left.

At midnight; Tsukino, Ikuko was driving out of the town she grew up in, Seigi was still wide awake in the backseat. Ikuko made sure to take everything of value with them to sale and use the money to buy a house for her growing family.

She will finally follow her dreams and not look back; Tsukino is in a sense a common name and the Tsukino Clan will never look for her as they will believe that she was dead with her husband. Her daughter Seigi will be safe for the clan will think she was put into the foster system and wash their hands.

For the first time in her life as she laid a hand on her lower stomach; Ikuko felt free at last…
