Our sembreak ended and I quite suffered from mental block but I still managed to write parts of this fanfic during that time but only managed to finish it today, just in time for Akakuro/KuroAka day!
Well I quite pushed myself to finish it today haha :))
STORY NOTES IMPORTANT:
Since it has been a very long time since I updated this, it would help if you read the past 2 chapters. But if you're lazy, I included a flashback on the beginning of this chapter so don't worry! ^_^ The past chapters are from the 1st point of view of fem!Kuroko-Tetsumi and Akashi but this time starting with this chapter it would be in a 3RD POV. I initially intended to just make this a oneshot and then I had the urged to make another for Akashi but I thought of a plot for this so yes I will continue this, haha but as usual slow chapter updates sorry sorry m(_ _)m

"Akashi-kun you mean when we first met you already liked me?" I looked up at the taller red head holding my hand while we walk towards the venue for the opening ceremony of Rakuzan high school
"A person's presence is a case to case basis. When someone is an object of a person's emotion like hate, admiration, or love, HIS attention would always be on that person and HE will always notice HER no matter what." He recited with a smile which caused a surge of familiarity in my heart
"That's what you said during that time too." I muttered staring at our hands clasped together
"I thought that by saying that you would already notice it, being an observant person that you are. But I was wrong." I looked up to him only to meet his eyes as he smirked at me
"Since when.." I muttered
"You don't need to bother yourself with something so trivial like that." He responded while he lowered his head to kiss my forehead tenderly
That is the same thing I said when I introduced myself nearly 4 years ago..
"Time really went so fast since we met each other during our 2nd year in middle school..." Kuroko Tetsumi absentmindedly uttered while looking at the Sakura trees lining the sidewalk towards Rakuzan high school
It is spring now, and just like every year it means the new opening of the school year and this also means the so-called high school debut for the freshmen.
"I'm really happy that you came with me here in Kyoto." He tightened his hold on the tender hand of the bluenette who is still busy appreciating the countless pink petals falling on the ground.
Tetsumi noticed the tightened grip on her hands from the slightly taller red head and she knew that this is one of his habits every time he tries to hide his feelings, but she knows Akashi Seijurou all too well for her to not notice it.
"Akashi Seijurou, you forced me to come here with you." The bluenette retorted back monotonously while staring at his heterochromatic eyes to catch his reaction
"I'm absolute after all." He used his evil smirk at the pouting bluenette who is just few centimeters shorter than him, but he knows that his intimidation is no use to her, unlike when he uses it to his team mates in Teiko. Using his usual phrases also became one of his habits every time he is left with no words and also a way to keep himself from blushing.
"It is really hard to think of a comeback once you used that line of yours. Anyone who will hear that will be overwhelmed by your arrogance Akashi-kun. We better hurry, a lot of people are already gathering there." When Tetsumi noticed the huge crowd gathering near the school's auditorium, the chattering noise of the students can be easily heard even though they are still blocks away.
"The classroom lists are there, we need to check it before we proceed to the auditorium for the school's opening. The seating arrangement for the program will be arranged by class section after all' Akashi informed her while they walk towards the gathered crowd of students in front of the board filled with the lists of sections
Tetsumi easily passed through the crowd of students and her low presence made it easier for her to go in front to have a good look on the list of sections secretly hoping that she would be in the same class with Akashi-kun, but there's a thought bothering her that if that happens she will have to face firsthand the wrath of "THE Evil Class President" mode of Akashi-kun. She shook away all her thoughts and focused on searching her name in the list.
Meanwhile Akashi was caught by a crowd of fellow freshmen that gathered around him the moment they arrived on the school grounds, he became used to this and politely entertained them.
"That is Akashi Seijurou right? Kyaaaaaaaaaa!" a squealing voice alerted everyone, excited whispers from the crowd started and soon the students started to accumulate effectively blocking Akashi's way
"Eh! The one in the generations of Miracles?" a sudden comment from a boy from the crowd caught the interest of even more students; all of them knew about the flawless record of the Teiko basketball team and the group of genius players that made that feat possible
"Stupid he is THE CAPTAIN" the boy beside him exclaimed, that earned the gasps of the other students. And now this made them only more interested than ever.
"I also heard that he got the highest score in the entrance exam!" a girl dreamily said to her friend.
"I know that he came from a very well-off family from a noble line!" Another girl with a very high-pitched voiced excitedly said. More and more of the students started spilling the information or more like the rumors they know about Akashi Seijurou and the rest of the Generation of Miracles.
While the crowd around him are occupied by their own discussions, Akashi took this opportunity to slip off from the crowd surrounding him and come close to the bluenette who is still staring at the list of sections.
"Tetsumi, we need to go in, before we attract much more attention." His heterochromatic eyes glinted with urgency as he said this to her, worried that the students will crowd at him once again, making him away from her again.
"Akashi-kun your section is 1-A, while I will be on 1-B." the emotionless blue orbs stared at him, though she said this monotonously like usual he noticed a tinged of disappointment in his voice.
He is too disappointed, they did not became classmates during their whole stay during middle school, and since he is the captain of the basketball club he was occupied with countless duties that the only time that they can spend time with each other are only during the fleeting lunch breaks spent in their hidden spot in the library.
"It is a brand new start for everyone.. " a man confidently stands before hundreds of freshmen and the school faculty with such calm and demeanor, that anyone will mistake him as the principal addressing a speech but his school uniform reminds everyone that he is too is a student just like them. Everyone was captivated by this sight that it became hard for them to focus on his privilege speech as the representative for the 1st year and the one who got the highest score in the entrance exam.
"As expected of Akashi-kun he really has the authoritative aura that overwhelms everyone. He is already popular. " Tetsumi thought, as she flashed a proud smile
"EH! Is that you Kuroko?" a familiar voice immediately pulled her out from her thoughts, she jolted back and saw the smiling face of his childhood friend that automatically brought a smile to her too
"Ogiwara-kun?!" she blurted out with disbelief, her blue eyes widened, her usual vacant stare suddenly glowed with excitement
"Woah Kuroko it's been really such a long time since we last saw each other. I missed you!" the man flashing a refreshing smile gasped at her with such enthusiasm not noticing the stares that he is earning from his fellow students
A cheer erupted the moment he finished his speech, he searched the crowd of students before him expecting her usual proud smile but then… this time it was way different than what he had expected because she was smiling but it was not for him, her smile was for someone else..
