Chapter 3: one step further
So he wasn't Gajeels child, nor was he Mira's. The last one by the way, was trying to hide her tears from the boy, and therefor went to the kitchen since she failed. From there things got out of order: Elfman was screaming nonsense about being a MAN and a MAN should not make a woman cry; Lisanna was hitting the boy on the head with a light book; Natsu and Gray were shaking like mad mans because Erza started to see red with all this commotion; and the boy just stared at them all a playful smile on his lips. After two or three beatings things settled down. It was decided that Lisanna should go and talk to Mira until she was fin.
"Are you by any means related to the royal child that ran away, the one we were talking about? I don't know if you heard us." asked a now collected and reflected Erza. Her voice was calmer and her eyes didn't shin anger.
The boy was wearing that sly grin again, the one saying I know something you don't. But his eyes were not shining evilly, they were laughing. He seemed to have quite fun.
" Ah, now we are starting to talk. Good thing some of you think a little. So, yes I heard what you were talking about, but I'm sorry to say that there are many questions who can be answered first." He positioned himself in a comfortable position. " So what makes you think you know anything? I mean seriously, a stranger walk up to you, seems to know a lot about you and the first thing you ask about is why he is wearing gloves. Okay, I get it. This is Natsu we are talking about, but still. Is the poster the first thing you want to know about?"
" I suppose you are right, you never told us anything about yourself. Now speak up." said the all known Erza. The stranger just smiled. He didn't speak, just moved his head.
" So in your opinion, what is the best thing to ask about first, brat?" asked the master sitting himself on the table in front of the boy.
" Well first thing first I guess. You either great a person with a smile and a name or a punch in the face."
" You already said that," retorted Gray. For a genius, Levy was wondering if she was losing pieces of her brain. Why didn't she think about that before? Smiling like she used to, she greeted the boy.
" Good evening, my name is Levy Mcgarden and as you seem to already know, this is Fairy Tail. " Everyone looked at Levy like she had two heads, everyone except the boy. He just smiled back.
" It's an honor meeting you Levy-san. My name's William, but most people just call me Willy or County. Don't ask about the last part. Is it rude if I asked how old you are?"
" Not in the slightest. I am 17 years old, soon to be 18. And you are currently in year 791 if you were wondering."
The boy smiled all hearted, finally someone who seems to get it. The other members of the guild were trying to pick up the meaning of their discussion, and you could see smiles on their faces when they did: The boy didn't know where he was.
" It is strange to speak to a younger version of a person you know. And thanks for the info, things started to give a bit more sense." He said.
" Like what?" asked the bookworm.
" well for instance, the guild hall is a lot different from the one we have now."
"hey what do you mean? Please don't say this guild hall is destroyed?"pleaded the guild master. "Being destroyed once was enough..."
" sorry Gramps, but I don't know what happened to it, I just said it wasn't the same."
" Do you feel a bit more comfortable now that you know were you are, or should I say when you are?" asked the blunette by his side.
" Yes, I must admit it feels better when you are on known land. But when exactly is this? I mean, a lot of things happened in 791, so it would be great if I knew precisely when."
" Oh so you know what is going to happen?" asked Droy.
" and do you know who I am going to marry?" asked another. Everyone were wondering about something that would happen in the future. He just sight.
" Are you serious, you're all acting like kids. I suppose thats where they have it from," muttered William.
" What was that, asked the blue haired girl. "and by the way, we just came home from crocus after winning the Games."
"oh nothing special. thanks for the info though." After smiling one last time at the girl, he made his way to the staircase. In the back, you could hear an over excited Natsu asking him where he thought he was going. The guild went silent again for the x-time in barely an hour. They looked at him with big, pleading eyes that whispered: stay. He fought the laughter. How bizarre could these people get? oh well, he was a mage too.
"I thought I'll go to bed. I'm tired and you look too. Maybe it's better we take this discussion tomorrow. I'm not certain you guys noticed, but it' already 11 pm."
You could hear approval grunts from some, others shaking their heads.
" Well at least tell us who you are, so we can be certain you're not a serial killer," said a Mira with red puffy eyes. He turned completely and sight. He took of his glove from the right hand.
" For the third time today, my name is William, but you can call me Willy, I am 14 year old and considered too smart for my age. I am not Gajeels kid nor will I say who my parents are. I read a lot but less than Levy-san. I have great knowledge on ancient languages as well as historical events, so yes, I probably know a lot of things about your future. And as you can see my guild mark is on my hand, that's why I'm wearing gloves today. I usually don't. And Yes, yes I am part of this guild, or the one in the future. And that' s pretty much it! Oh yes I'm also colorblind so please don't expect me to know thing related to colors. With that, I wish you all a good night and hope I can borrow the bed in the infirmary tonight."
In barley seconds he was gone and the guild members were standing there wondering what exactly happened. Slowly the members started moving, all of them picking up their things and leave for the night. Everyone except the master. He still sat there in the middle of the guild with his eyes closed. He waited till everyone were out the door before speaking up.
" I know you're there boy. Come down here, it is easier to speak to you that way."
William walked slowly toward Makarov, and sat down the precise place where he was some minutes ago.
" So tell me about yourself and what brings you here."
" My name Is William Justin, considered Feeds child. Why I'm here, I don't know, but I might know someone who does and the one who did this could possibly be my best friend."
" and who might this person be, the one that could help you?"
" Levy Mcgarden."

Meantime in the middle of the forest many kilometers away was a boy, a girl and a strange looking cat. They've been walking for quite some time and their feets were arching.
" Where are we?" wondered the boy.
"somewhere" answered the girl while walking in front and letting every branch hit the boy.
" Ow, please don't let the branch slip through your fingers, it freaking hurts." Came the first voice again. "and really, I thought you could get us out of here 'cause "you have a good directional sense", or did I hear it wrong?"
" It is not my fault we are stuck in this forest. Who's idea was it to take a shortcut through the woods? Most certainly not me!" they were facing each other now.
" Your fault you followed, your majesty~!"
" Oh, well I didn't have a chance to choose you dark minded playboy!"
"Stop putting all this on me you self satisfied dork!"
"euh, I don't think this would help us..." said the third person of the party. "And you're not even moving when you are yelling at one another."
The two stopped bickering, watched the exceed and then started walking again. The girl took the lead.
" I suppose you're right. Any way, it can't be that hard to find Fairy Tail."
