I woke up with a headache, with my dream leaving me foggy in the head. I looked at my clock, and saw I woke up at a reasonable time. I stretched with my hands going over my head my shirt riding up, my yawn resounding around the room. Charlie came and popped his head through the door,

"Hey Bells, just heard you. Jake said he'd be here in another hour." I only smiled and nodded at him.

"I gotta go down to the station, another animal attack." He said his voice sneering on the word 'animal', I only looked at him with my head tilted to the side with confusion laced in his actions. He just shook his head and turned to leave, he then turned back around with wrinkled brows knitting together, causing a wrinkle to form on his forehead. His left hand reached around his tool belt that was hanging on his waist, and pulled out a bottle it read Pepper Spray.

"D-Dad, I don't think-" He cut me off shushing me with his hand going up in the air, in a silent gesture to telling me to be quiet.

"Bella, this is for my own reassurance that you're going to be okay. Just use it when necessary. It's not just any pepper spray." He said again with an indifferent tone. Again my head tilted with confusion with his words; puzzled I only nodded and accepted the bottle taking it from his hands. He grunted a goodbye and left me in my room to do my morning routine.

I got up as I heard the front door close, I was heading to the shower, when I felt that presence again. I looked in acknowledgmentto the presence. I blinked and Marina appeared in front of me in thin air.

"Bella, dear, listen your Father he knows whats best for you right now." She said looking at the bottle of pepper spray that lays on my bed. I sighed and nodded. I turned back around and headed to my bathroom tripping on the carpet on the way there. Of course she followed me, I turned around giving her a knowing look as I raised my eyebrow.

"Hel-lo, privacy, please?" I asked her rhetorically reaching over my head pulling my shirt off leaving me in my bra and shorts. She giggled, "Nothing I haven't seen before Isabella." Then she disappeared once again. The presence left me, leaving me feeling slightly empty. I shook my head at that thought.

I walked into the shower, grabbing my toothbrush that lay on the shower's shelf. I brushed my teeth thoroughly as the warm water, cascaded down my body. I spit out the tooth paste and poured body wash on my loaf scrubbing my skin.

I stepped out the bathroom feeling fresh as I went to my closet figuring out what I was gonna wear. I picked out some high-waisted jeans, black vans, and black crop top, along with a green parka. I went to back to my bedroom, closing the closet door.

"Hmm, cute outfit. Are you trying to impress the boy Jacob?" Marina said scaring the leaving crap out of me.

"Oh god!" I said grabbing my chest and leaning against the closed closet door. "You scared me! Don't do that, next a warning would be nice!" I exclaimed in pure shock, looking at her incredulously. She only smiled and nodded at me.

"You never answered my question Bella, are you trying to look uh whats the word... Cute! Yes cute for your date with Jacob?" She asked amusingly raising an eyebrow in my direction. I blushed and dropped my head in embarrassment.

"Ugh, no mom." I said without thinking, the word 'mom' just flew out my mouth. I pressed a hand over my mouth willing the word to come back into my mouth somehow magically. She only chuckled and beamed at me.

"Please, don't do that. I'm glad you're already referring me as your mother, it makes me sing with pride, daughter." She said putting emphasis on the word 'daughter'. I could feel her happiness from where I was standing at, I only blushed even more and told her disappear quietly so I could change.

I walked downstairs fully dressed and ready to go, went to the kitchen to grab me a breakfast biscuit. My phone alerted me with a new text message from a number I didn't know.

He Bella its me Jake. I'm heading to your house now. I'll be there in five minutes Rebecca and Rachel are with me. The others will meet us there ;)-J

Ok :)-B

I smiled at the winky face, then flushed when I realized he said Rebecca and Rachel were coming with him. I closed my eyes and leaned on the counter near the microwave, running my hands through my wavy hair.

"You'll be fine dear." The voice said coming from my left with pride and then it was gone. I recognized as it as Marina's and smiled softly at her words of encouragement. I quickly finished my breakfast biscuit and grabbed my keys on the way to the door I heard the honk of Jake's car. Looking out the window, I could see a red volkswagen jetta, it looked like the year 2013. I grabbed the small bottle of pepper spray, and put it one of my many pockets on my parka.

Jake was leaning against the hood of his car smiling at me with folded arms. He came over to hug me and went to open the passenger side door for me. I smiled and saw Rebecca and Rachel smiling and waving at me through the glass, I smiled back at them. Jacob closed the door for me and went to the driver's side.

"Hey Isabella," They both said greeting me. I gave them a shy smile, "Just Bella." I told them. They shrugged and smiled fondly at me. I sat back in my seat when Jake looked over at me, checking out my appearance.

"You look nice- hey did you're eyes change color? And your skin its slightly darker than the last time... And your scent it smells good..." Jake said sniffing the air like an animal, licking his lips. Rachel hit him upside the head.

"You're such a weirdo Jake god!" Rachel said disgustedly staring at her brother."Yeah Jay, who the hell says to someone- none the less to a girl?" Rebecca said snottily.

I snorted, "Not the best pick-up line, I've heard so far..." I said amused at their banter. They both busted out laughing at my quiet comment. Jake just leaned down a little further in his seat and kept his eyes on the road.

"So, Bella, you're really pretty, I bet you left a boyfriend back in Arizona..." She trailed off obviously trying to figure out if I was single or not. I guess she was seeing if Jake could date me, it was a very low move to ask that so sudden, but I answered anyways.

"Oh, uh, no actually, I haven't, sorry." I said quietly, blushing when Jake whipped his head at me staring intently at my face smirking.

"Damn, Ray, all in the girl's business. What if she didn't want you to know that?!" Rebecca said scolding her sister. I smiled at her in relief in the rear view mirror, she only winked back at me.

Ugh, this car ride is going to be a long one.
