chapter -3

Elijah was up early next morning but his younger siblings were still asleep. He entered the kitchen and decided to cook Rebekah's favourite. He knew Rebekah was angry at him and thought this effort would score him some points.

Rebekah was next to wake up. She knew it was Elijah's way to say sorry when she saw the breakfast.

"This is wrong,he is wrong" she said angrily to Elijah but instead her eyes became watery.

Elijah knew she was trying her best not to cry .But still her eyes were very could handle any situation calmly but seeing his sister like this made him feel helpless. It was so hard for him to choose between his siblings but he did not express his feelings ,none of her brothers ever did.

"Everyone will get a fair chance, sister. I assure you" he said calmly

"And after that you will come with us to our home."Klaus said to her with a wide grin.

Kol woke up with his voice and was relieved to see Rebekah was still there.

"Its not your decision take"he said with equally cunning smile while looking at Klaus.

Rebekah was the only Mikealson daughter hence was dear to all her brothers but Klaus and Kol were always in a separate race to become her favorite brother .It was like this since they were humans .As a matter of fact it was one of the main reasons why Klaus and Kol hated each other.

Again Elijah 'the peacemaker' told them to stop and have breakfast.

After everyone had their breakfast ,they sat in the hall.

"I don't want to come "Rebekah said it looking straight into Elijah's eyes.

"Why must you be so stubborn ,whatever you have here you will have it in New Orleans too."Klaus said as he was getting irritated by all her fuss.

"I want freedom and I am sure you cant give me that"she replied.

"Rebekah" his voice began to rise"just come".He had no words to convince her .She had always been the hardest siblings to convince.

"Or he would dagger you ."Kol said sarcastically.

"Dont you interrupt boy or I would dagger you"Klaus snapped.

"oh brother brother do it,please do it"Kol replied sarcastically.

In a minute they both stood up from their seats and started fighting vigorously.

Before anyone could realize what was happening they were onto each other, breaking the furniture of the house .Elijah saw fear rising in Rebekah's eyes .It was the same fear she sensed when Mikeal punished her got up fast and separated both his younger they both stood back on their feet they realized Rebekah was crying .This made them feel a little guilty .Rebekah was over a thousand years old but even today when she cried all of them would do anything to make her smile again like they did when they were humans.

Before anybody could say anything Finn walked in."How can you guys have a family reunion without me"he asked in an annoyed tone.

Taking a glimpse at Rebekah's hall he asked "what did i miss?"

"Nothing " Rebekah replied in an angry tone , wiping her tears off.

"you have not changed at all,even after all these years" she was now crying freely. she wanted to stop but she couldn't."Why do you want me Klaus."she asked putting her brave face again.

"What kind of question is that Bekah"he said in an annoyed tone "because you are my family."

"NO"she said defiantly "What do you want me to do for you, I will do it, not because you are my brother but because I hate you and I am scared of you and want to get rid of you " she said blankly.

Klaus was stunned at this .his heart broke when she said this. whole world was afraid of him and he liked it .It made him feel powerful .But his little sister ,he couldn't even think about it .He always protected her ,comforted her .How can she be scared of him?

"You need not fear him sister "Kol interrupted "I will protect you from him even if it kills me"

"For thousand years I have protected while you enjoyed the world "Klaus snapped.

"and your efforts are appreciated , but i will take command from here"Kol growled

Although nobody told Finn what was going on but he he was tired of Klaus' dictatorship."Don't force her Niklaus. She is neither your child nor your subject"he said.

All of them were taken aback when they saw him defending Rebekah.

"You have no right to interfere ,so don't or I will kill you."Klaus shouted.

"Stop it , just stop it"the sister screamed at top of her voice "get out of my house ,get of my life and don't show me your face again ever in my entire eternal life".this was the the angriest she could be from her brothers.

"If this is your final answer sister ,then its okay"Klaus replied with a broken heart and started walking towards the door

Elijah was unsure Klaus meant what he said .He could feel Klaus was going to do something wicked .But he started walking behind him anyways.

As Klaus reached the front door he turned back towards Rebekah and said "Well ,whatever is going to happen is your fault ,Rebekah" .

Before anybody could make any sense out of it ,Klaus attacked Kol and Finn causing them to faint and broke Rebekah neck.

I would also like to know if klaus' curse is lifted i.e if he can change into his wolf form or not.
