Not many people expect Shinsui to be thinking of anything of importance when he vanishes to a random roof to enjoy a bottle of sake. In truth it really isn't anything urgently important, he is just thinking back to his youth. He especially enjoys thinking back to his mischievous years in the Academy, though the years after he met Jyuushiro seem brighter in his mind. Neither he nor Jyuushiro truly remember how they met however that small fact is lost in the history of their young exploits.
Jyuushiro, once again enlisted by a rather irate Ise Nanao, was seeking out his best friend. He knew that Shinsui was on some roof, thinking about the past, and avoiding his responsibilities. Once he found his friend they would talk and reminisce about their, extremely irresponsible, pranks. Their youth was one of the brightest moments in either man's life. Their friendship had gotten them through trials in their youth that not many other of their peers had to deal with. Their youth was a shining part of their life, and now they enjoyed teaching the youth of today.
