Dear Journal
So letting Neji live with us made Gaara really happy or that the sex is really that good I don't know and I don't think I really need to find out, but Neji had lived with us for two months now and I haven't seen Gaara as happy as he is now living with his husband than just living with us I mean Gaara used to always be in that P.M.S mood all the damn time, but with Neji we only encounter that mood probably once every week from him that is improvement in my eyes. I also heard them argue for the first few weeks that Neji was staying here, and also through those weeks I heard them 'make up' too because of these damn thin walls in our house and Gaara's room being next to mine I hear everything. Now I need to put when they have sex on my calendar because that is when I need to sleep on the couch and when to sleep in my room. I'm really happy for him though one of these days I'll find that Mr. Right and live happily ever after now if only Sasuke would drop dead then that's when I'll be a very happy camper. I don't know watching Gaara and Neji everyday makes me think about the good times with Sasuke and when I start thinking that way I immediately have to hit my head on something hard. Speaking of Sasuke I've been working for Sasuke for four months now at first waking up very early was unusual to me, but now I am used to it, but I still hate seeing Karin's face because for some odd reason I always see her in the restaurant making trouble. I had to feed her one day and guess who went home because her stomach was hurting Karin did and still to this day I don't know why but I do believe she will think twice before insulting my meals again.(Laxatives work like a charm when wanting someone to get out of your hair.) Till this day Sasuke didn't ask any questions or anything I think that he was happy with her not being there also. I also think that Sasuke really don't want to be married to her but something is keeping him there what I don't know but I shouldn't care right?

I closed my book and looked around my room and got up from my desk chair and dived in my bed and started to get sleepy until I heard a banging on the wall and after awhile moaning followed after. I sat up and banged the Morse code 'I'm tired please be quiet' I just wanted sleep that is all and they weren't giving it to me after last night that is all I wanted to do. Then it got silent I laid back down and sighed to myself and slowly went to sleep until I heard a knock on my door and the door opened.
"I'm sorry that was Morse code for I don't care." I heard Gaara say as I sat up and turned towards Gaara and stared.
"But Gaara...Obviously you care you're in my room" I whined.
"No I have 305 more days left to get back in the flow of things." Gaara said leaning on my door frame then I saw arms come around his waist.
"What weren't you two having office sex?" I saw the look on Gaara face that honestly scared the hell out of me I almost gave myself away. "I mean can't you two make up your 305 days somewhere else like a hotel or work perhaps there is really not much you missed." I asked shrugging. "Didn't you get half that time back when he first moved here too?" I said realizing again I put my foot in my mouth.
"Naruto what do you mean by that" Gaara said getting off my door frame I knew I was going to die until I saw the rest of Neji coming behind him wrapping his arms fully around Gaara's waist. Neji had saved my life I owe him.
"Gaara I have a question?" Neji said kissing Gaara's neck.
"What?" Gaara said putting a small smile on his face.
"Alone..."Neji said leading Gaara back to their room. I laid back down knowing that whatever Neji and Gaara was talking about Gaara was going to tell me it later so I laid back down and tried to sleep.
"Sasuke coming over." Gaara said and I sat up and looked at him.
"What the hell Gaara?" I asked and got up from my bed and stood in front of him. "Damn is that what I have to do to get what I want also?" I asked upset.
"Before Neji used to live with us Neji and Sasuke would meet up every two weeks, and hang out at each other's houses now since Neji lives with us in this house he can have whoever he wants over okay I'm trying to make Neji as comfortable as possible, and it only works with Neji."Gaara said looking at me.
"Well what about me!" I yelled
"What about you? To my knowledge you are a supposedly over Uchiha." Gaara said.
"Gaara to my knowledge you don't like him either..." I asked with a smirk.
"Just treat it like work okay I know its insensitive of me to assume you will be alright with this." Gaara said and I sighed and looked at him.
"Fine whatever." I said to Gaara. "But you owe me big time for this." I smiled at him.
"Deal I'll buy you that ramen you like." Gaara said.
"You know me so well." I smiled at him "Now get out and let me sleep." Gaara smiled at me back and I dived in my bed again and finally went to sleep.
(Time Skip)
I felt a need of my body wake me up...my stomach growl and I opened my eyes and sat up in my bed, and yawned while stretching. I got out my bed, and went to the shared bathroom and did my business after that I left the bathroom, went downstairs and saw a shirtless sweaty Sasuke in my living room (Damn Libido). I went all the way downstairs and I kept looking down so I don't have to see Sasuke.
"Oh sorry Naruto did I wake you up?" Neji asked as I looked up while he was walking through the foyer. I looked up and saw Neji also without a shirt on, and he didn't look that shabby either but whatever I looked at Neji with a puzzle look on my face.
"Did you come upstairs?" I asked and he shook his head. " Then no Neji you did not wake me up I just got up because my stomach was yelling at me." I said smiling at him.
"As usual something's just don't change." I heard Sasuke chuckle or snicker or whatever evil bastards do when they don't know what pure laughter is. So I turned to him and regretted it because that is what the bastard wanted me to do and I fell for it and I saw everything from his defined chest to his abs to his arms and if I looked lower do I see a swimmer 'v' yes I do see a swimmer's 'v' and to top it off he is sweaty.
"Hey Naruto." Sasuke said smirking at me, I couldn't say anything because I was having a internal fight with my penis at the moment.
"Bastard..."I said as a greeting.
"Like what you see."Sasuke said.
"Not really not when the goods are soiled." I said smiling at him, Gaara walked through the foyer and looked to me then at Sasuke.
"Uchiha shirt on now." Gaara said and came for my rescue.
"Okay Sabaku or is it Hyuuga now." Sasuke said putting on a sleeveless muscle shirt on.
"Hyuuga." Neji said smiling. "Finally." Neji said pulling Gaara into his arms and giving him a kiss fully on the lips.
"I'm happy for you dare I say envious." Sasuke smiled at Neji grabbing a water bottle and taking a sip. "Nope mistaken envious for nausea." Sasuke said smirking at his long-time friend.
"Good one." Neji said letting go of Gaara and putting a shirt on too.
"I try." Sasuke said both Sasuke and Neji sat on the long couch near the slide in glass that leads into the backyard that Akamaru uses as a toilet and playpen.
"So do you know?" Sasuke asked and that intrigued me and Gaara as we both sat on the opposite couch across from Sasuke and Neji and the coffee table in the middle of the two long couches.
"What?" Neji asked.
"Ten-Ten's pregnant..." Sasuke said
"I didn't even know she was pregnant wait a minute how far is she?"
"I don't know Karin said she was 18 weeks."
"She's five months now."
"Congrats..." Sasuke said not knowing what else to say.
"That's what she was talking about sole custody for so I can't see my baby...I can't see my daughter or son. Then I will have to pay child support damn it." Neji said palming his forehead. "She wouldn't want to talk to me because of what happened so I screwed myself over damn it!" Neji said again putting his head in his hands I felt bad for Neji so I looked at Gaara and from the look of it Gaara probably felt bad for Neji too.
"It looked like I was a unfit parent by the things I said in that court room...damn." Neji said running his hand through his long brunette hair.
"Well you can try to convince Ten-Ten that the baby needs both of his or her parents in their life and denying that from the child is very selfish of her." I said plainly.
"Karin told Ten-Ten that what she is doing is best..."Sasuke sighed. "I tried to tell her not to give anyone advice when you don't understand the circumstances but you know Karin." Sasuke said shaking his head.
"Yeah it goes through one ear and out the other and can't stop at her brain because she don't have one." I said and Neji looked up at me. "Listen Neji I know you and Ten-Ten had a rough relationship but are you really going to let her listen to Karin?" I asked.
"No..."Neji replied.
"Then get on the phone and call her up and talk to her and if you need any pointers I'll talk to her and if that doesn't work we're going to have to bring in big T." I said looking at Gaara and smiling.
"Who?" Both Neji and Sasuke said in unison.
"Temari." Gaara said
"So talk to her." I said and Neji nodded and left the room to get his cell phone and Neji asked if Gaara can come too leaving me and the bastard in the living room by ourselves.
"You know I just noticed that everyone left." I said looking around.
"I know your blonde but damn Naruto." Sasuke said shaking his head.
"For that one millisecond I wanted to choke the hell out you." I said glaring at Sasuke.
"Well don't say stupid shit when you saw Sabaku and Neji just leave." Sasuke said in a matter of fact tone.
"I live with two other people fool...four other people if you count Temari and Akamaru, and I just noticed that they weren't here now don't you feel stupid." I said through my teeth "Mom always told me that all people have the right to stupidity, but some abuse the privilege." I said looking away from Sasuke and paid attention to the now very interesting wall.
"Yeah I may be slow...but yet you work for me so what does that say about you." Sasuke said leaning on his knees.
"That I was desperate." I said also leaning forward.
"I don't have to take this." Sasuke said leaning back onto the couch.
"You don't see if you got up right, walked through the front door, get in your fancy car, and go home. You don't have to deal with me at all, but since I pay rent, bills, and put food in this house I get to say whatever the hell I want." I said sitting back and folding my arms across my chest.
"You can get fired like this." Sasuke said threateningly I looked around the room and looked at him.
"Last time I checked this was my house not my job." I said smirking at Sasuke. "Can't bring your personal life in your business life Sasuke." I said in a sing song voice.
"(Sigh) why is it every time something comes out your mouth it's a smart ass remark." Sasuke said glaring at me.
"There are many unknowns in the world Sasuke." I said smiling snidely at him.
Sasuke got up and walked around the coffee table and sat next to me.
"And what do you think you're doing?" I asked him.
"What is it illegal to sit next to you." Sasuke said leaning back like he was getting comfortable
"Yes you lost that right when you decided to become a polygamist." I said
"Are you going to keep on throwing that back up in my face every time you see me?" Sasuke asked
"Yes I will." I said matter of fact.
"Naruto..."He said sternly and then I felt a hit in the back of my head
"What the fuck" I said holding the back of my head.
"Think of that as punishment" Sasuke said smirking at me
"Oh really..." I said curling up my fist punching him in his pectoral. "Think of that as your repercussion." I said
After that it became a hitting match and somehow it ended up with him on top of me making me hit myself.
"Stop hitting me!" I demanded
"I'm not doing a damn thing this is all you." Sasuke said
I tried to look serious but this was very funny so I cracked a smile which earned me a smile in return.
Then we heard someone clear their throat and we looked up to reveal Temari and Shikamaru standing on the head of the couch.
"Get off me!" I yelled at Sasuke and this time Sasuke complied and we both looked at Temari.
"I hope we weren't interrupting you two." Temari smirked and for some reason she hit me too I looked at her confused as to why I was hit. "Sometimes you need to hit things that are broken so they work again." Temari said smirking at me while sitting next to me where Sasuke was just sitting.
"Ow why don't you hit him too?" I asked.
"I sign their pay checks every two weeks and because you don't just think of it as taking one for the team." Sasuke said with his signature smirk.
"Why are you bringing personal affairs into your business affairs." I said seriously because Temari hits like a man and if I didn't know her and she didn't have boobs I would of hit her back.
"So why was he playing patty cake with your face? A follow up question why is he here?" Temari asked and I looked at her and saw Shikamaru sit next to her and looked at me.
"Shut up Shika..."I growled out and sighed knowing that Shikamaru pieced together the puzzle when he looked at me then to Sasuke and smirked at me. "Damn lazy genius." I mumbled. I looked at the two and I saw Temari playing with her ring on her right ring finger and I saw how Shikamaru kiss Temari's cheek and whispered something in her ear and made her look at me.
"Naruto when was the last time you had sex?" Temari asked and I blushed at the thought.
"What the hell you whisper in her ear to make her ask that?"I asked in disbelief.
"Damn that long." Temari said smiling at me.
I wanted to tell her off but she was right I mean I haven't gotten any lately because of my basic needs getting in the way (Sleep, Eating, and Work).
"I'm became abstinent." I said like it was perfectly normal which it is.
"What?" Temari asked and I nodded.
"So your abstinent?" Sasuke asked looking at me and I ignored him, and looked back at the couple and sighed.
"Wait Naruto you had sex when you were in England right what happened?" Temari asked looking shocked.
"See what have happen was when I was in England everything was basically paid for by my parents I didn't have to lift a finger, and I had a lot of time so I filled that extra time up with something that was both relaxing and pleasurable but my mom called me one day and told me to come back to Japan and when I returned I tried to be grown in my parents' house and left so after that all ended so before I started working at the restaurant I couldn't keep a job that long and if I did I would be too tired to find someone and act on it so it's been quite awhile." I said chuckling at my so called life and I remembered the reason why I was even downstairs in the first place. I got up and excused myself telling the two that I was hungry and left the living room and went to the kitchen and pulled out ramen and put water in and popped it in the microwave.
"Naruto..."Sasuke said behind me.
"Yes do you need something." I said plainly.
"You slept with everything in sight and you say I was wrong." Sasuke said I didn't want to turn around because I wanted to stab the hell out of him the nerve of him to say that to me.
"Sasuke when I was having sex with other people I was single." I said shaking my head and turning around to face Sasuke.
"So who's better?"Sasuke asked and I knew he was smirking at me.
"Sasuke I don't want to hurt your pride." I said eating some more of my ramen.
"So you're telling me that I didn't rock your world."Sasuke said
"Sasuke I'm not telling you anything because its none of your business." I said smiling at Sasuke.
"Come on make my ego bigger."Sasuke said his smirk returning.
"See I don't want to deflate your ego or do I." I said smiling even bigger
"You know what you can make someone feel real special." Sasuke said crossing his arms
"I try to with some people but with you I stopped trying." I said putting my cup down and hopping on the counter.
"So that's where the sarcasm comes from." Sasuke said while imprisoning me in between his arms and that stupid smirk on his face.
"I plead the fifth." I said and looked at Sasuke he looked paler than I remember him and he is starting to get bags under his eyes.
"Are you not sleeping?" I asked
"What worried?" Sasuke asked
"Hell yeah who will sign my check when you die." I said
"Thank you for your concern, but running a business will give you some sleepless nights." Sasuke said moving from in front of me to the side of me and he only does that when he is hiding something.
"I just want you to know I know your hiding something, but I understand that it's not any of my business so I won't push it further than this." I said finishing my ramen and putting the fork in the sink and opening up the drawer under my feet to throw away the cup.
"Plus you can't forget your married to Karin too even though I don't like her your probably getting a lot more sex than most of us which helps in those sleepless nights." I said smirking at him.
"Not more than Neji and Sabaku." Sasuke chuckled
"No I don't think anyone could have more sex then them." I said chuckling with him looking at Sasuke in the face.
"Is that the rumour going around downstairs...but to bring truth to a myth no I'm not currently having sex with her and it's been like that for five years." Sasuke said.
"Are you sure because the sex must be good with how bad she clings to you." I said plainly.
"That's just Karin being Karin there's no changing that." Sasuke said. There was a pregnant pause and it wasn't uncomfortable it was like I never left.
"Like you don't know." Sasuke said breaking the silence. "You know I'm good in bed."
"Sasuke let it go." I said smiling at him even wider
"This is nice." I said and Sasuke came back in front of me.
"Yeah I believe so." Sasuke said plainly
Sasuke started pet my whiskered cheek and then started to pet my neck and then he rubbed my sensitive part of my neck.
"No stop that." I said I then felt a firm grip on the back of my head and a second later I don't know what happened but Sasuke and I was making out in the middle of my kitchen on top of my counters I wrapped my legs around his waist and my hands rested on his biceps. When breathing became a necessity we broke apart. I looked at Sasuke in a daze and he looked at me the same way.
"Naruto..."Sasuke whispered in my ear.
"I fucked up we shouldn't even be doing this." I said pushing Sasuke away to create some distance between us.
"No." Sasuke whispered to me.
"No?" I repeated "Sasuke I feel like I don't have to remind your dumbass that you're married and that I hate your guts." I looked at Sasuke and looked away.
"When did that happen because I surely couldn't tell just a few minutes ago." Sasuke said crossing his arms across his chest.
"That's why I said I fucked up we are not together and we are never getting back together." I said shaking my head. "I'm not going to make anyone no matter how much I dislike or to put it plainly and bluntly hate them go through the pain I went through with being cheated on." I said shaking my head some more turning my back towards him and walking out of the kitchen and straight to my room closing it and locking it. I sat on my bed and then lay down on my bed. After what happened I just wanted to sleep and that is what I did sleep.
(Dream)
I woke up to a warm body next to me, and I looked over my shoulder to reveal Sasuke Uchiha my one and only. I started to move around in my sleep trying to get out of my imprisonment of his arms.
"Stop moving." Sasuke said in a low groggy voice.
"We have school today Sasuke." I said trying to get the sleep out of my voice.
"So why go to school where those bastards just drool and dream about you." Sasuke grumbled out holding me even tighter.
"Yeah why go to school where I can get an education and actually I only care about one bastard and he drools and dream about me all the time and he's in my bed." I said sitting up in my bed.
"Lucky guy." Sasuke said smirking and turned on his back. "I guess we have to go because our education system is failing you so maybe you do need school." Sasuke said
"Yup we do it sucks I know." I said while a shirtless Sasuke sat up in my bed. "You have no reason to be jealous, but me on the other hand I have a reason to be jealous." I said showing him my signature smile I closed my eyes as Sasuke came closer, and I felt his lips upon my lips as he gently kiss me.
"Yeah morning breath kiss." I said smiling even wider.
"Whatever." Sasuke said shaking his head and bent down over the side of the bed to grab something. When he came back up he had his boxers in his hands.
"Sasuke it took me forever to take them off." I said jokingly.
"Not that it's hard when it comes to you." Sasuke said leaning over and pecking my lips. Sasuke then stood up from my bed and grabbed the rest of his clothes and put them on. "Thanks for last night." Sasuke said smirking.
"I feel like a whore I feel like I should say something like.. 'You're welcome same price as yesterday." I said seductively another kiss was what I got for a reply. "Bye I love you Sasuke Uchiha." I said when he pulled back.
"I love you too Naruto Uzumaki-Uchiha." Sasuke said smiling at me and grabbing his shoes and jumping out of my window as I laid back down feeling like such a girl right now. I raised my right hand looking at my ring finger to see my "engagement" ring, and putting it back down by my side I sighed one last time and got up to get ready for school.
(Time Skip)
I waited for Sasuke to pull up to my house, and I smiled when I saw a black car. I opened the front door and yelled out goodbye to my parents and close the door walking down the stairs and opening the car door and sitting in the car.
"Good morning." I said leaning over to kiss him.
"Good morning." He replied and he drove off.
(Time Skip)
It doesn't take that long to get to school from my house or Sasuke's house. Sasuke pulled up into the parking lot and turned off the car while we both got out of the car. We walked into the building and saw our group of friends standing near our lockers.
"Oh look who wanted to show up its the newlyweds." Temari said while Shikamaru was behind her shadowing her.
"Shut up." I retorted back.
Temari started to pull away from Shikamaru with a look that scared me.
"Temari I'm just playing god always trying fight with someone." I said backing up. "Overdose on some estrogens so it can balance out the testosterone in your body." I said behind my boyfriend who I was now using as a human shield.
Everyone in my social circle had someone Temari had Shikamaru, Kiba had Hinata, Sakura had Kankuro, Ino had Sai, Gaara had Neji and I had the love of my life Sasuke so everyone was dating someone. Then I opened my locker and I took my indoor shoes out and put my street ones in the locker. I put my school ones on and waited till Sasuke opened his locker. When Sasuke opened his locker there were a ton of love letters in his shoe locker I sighed and took them all out knowing already who they were from and throwing them away in the garbage where they belong.
"Karin again?" Sakura asked.
"Yup." I said leaning next to Sasuke and someone was feeling funny today because speak of the devil Karin walks by us and stops in front of Sasuke.
"Hey Sasu-Kun." Karin cooed in a sickening high pitch voice.
"See this is what I don't get about whores like why do they think that every guy wants their S.T.D infused ass." I said out loud hinting at Karin, Karin ignored that comment and flipped her hair over her shoulder.
"Be careful Uzumaki if you don't hold on Sasu-Kun tight you might lose him one day." Karin said leaving.
"He doesn't have to worry." Sasuke said leaning to me and giving me a quick kiss and me smiling after he pulled away.
"Yeah so you can go on your personal corner and start whoring yourself out now." I said with a smirk while Sasuke walked with his arm around my shoulder. I should of seen it then; that I was going to lose Sasuke to her but you never see what is coming until it comes.
(End of Dream)
It's been awhile since I ever dreamt about Sasuke I guess that kiss brought back some unnecessary memories back. I turned on my back and sighed and looked at my navy blue ceiling. I started to sit up when I heard someone knocking on my door I stood up and sluggishly walked to my door unlocking the door and opening it revealing Gaara.
"Hey..." Gaara said
"Hi.."
"So dinners being made right now where you were swabbing spit with our boss." Gaara said smirking I fully woke up and blushed.
"No it wasn't like that I promise." I pleaded with him
"Yes it was like that." Gaara said and smiled
"Please Gaara stop."
"Alright alright since you're in turmoil I'll stop...but we need you to pick a side dish will it be rice or are you fine with Sasuke's tongue." Gaara actually smiled it sucks that the things that make him smile is seeing others go through pain.
"Gaara..."I whined hitting my head on my door frame lightly. "Is he still here?" I asked.
"No prince charming left." Gaara said
"I don't know what came over me." I said looking down. "Like all these years of hating his very existence and building up walls destroyed by a kiss." I said touching my lips.
"I'm guessing your brain is subconsciously telling you to let go of the past and move on." Gaara said switching from one foot to the other.
"That means I will have to forgive him gosh I sound annoying." I said face palming myself.
"Naruto how long do you intend to hold a grudge on him sleeping with Karin for anyway? I mean you work under him." Gaara asked and I looked straight in his eyes and he looked very serious and looked down.
"Honestly I don't know but I know I just want to bury the hatchet." I said and smiled to myself.
"That's good." Gaara said passing me in the doorway to sit on my bed I followed and sat next to him.
"I can't believe that we made out in the kitchen..." I said in disbelief "Wait a minute how did you find out?" I asked
"Well I was going to talk to you about the whole Ten-Ten situation so I walked downstairs to see Temari and Shika on the couch. They told me not to go in the kitchen, and that you and Sasuke have to talk. Then I told them that this was my house and I do as I please so I walked in the kitchen to find you two swabbing spit but no one knows but me." Gaara said looking at me I sighed in relief and looked at my best friend for years. "But that can change if you don't do as I say." Gaara smirked.
"Are you blackmailing me." I asked as I suspected this to come from Gaara.
"Blackmail is such an ugly word to use let's call it negotiation." Gaara said crossing his legs.
"Gaara you are threatening me with a secret that I don't want anyone else to know for my services which by the way if you didn't know is called blackmail." I pulled Gaara into the room "What do you want?" I asked
"Well all you need to do is get Sasuke alone and get rid of Karin." Gaara said
"You want me to make Sasuke cheat on Karin and then when he does kill her." I said liking that plan not the cheating part the killing of Karin.
"I knew I should of walked you through this." Gaara said shaking his head and then he looked at me like I was stupid. "That was my fault for not explaining clearly." Gaara said and sighed.
"Okay I want you to convince Sasuke to fire Karin." Gaara said as I looked at him in disbelief.
"What are you talking about Sasuke won't listen to me if you stayed long enough you would of saw that fight we had too." I said standing up. "Gaara are you sick because usually you would go with the kill the bitch plan you psycho." I said and Gaara just looked at me and glared at me and closed his eyes to reopen them again.
"You don't understand how much influence you have on that man and if you don't believe me tomorrow when we go to work ask for a new set of knives and tell him to make sure they have your name on it and see that he won't get them." Gaara said folding his arms forgetting about my earlier statement.
"Gaara that's ridiculous." I said turning my back to him and then I turned back to Gaara. "Let's make this interesting how about we make a bet if he doesn't give me the knives I don't talk to Sasuke at all and you have to be nice to Karin and call her beautiful everyday but if he does I'll talk to him and Karin will be history." I said smirking at Gaara.
"Deal great doing business with you." Gaara said getting up and leaving my room. I didn't really want to eat so I laid back down and went to sleep.
(The Next day)
I arrived to work at my usual time but instead of going into the break room I sat in the lobby waiting for Sasuke. When I saw him enter the building I stood up and ran up to him before he got on the elevator.
"Sasuke can I ask you something?" I asked and Sasuke looked at me and gave me a nod like saying yes was hard, but Sasuke wasn't really a morning person though so I can't really get mad at him.
"Um my set of knives I got are dull and old so I was wondering if I come to you or Neji to get me new ones." I said what I been rehearsing since last night and Sasuke kept on looking at me like there is supposed to be more. "If possible can you make all of them have orange handles and my name on them." I asked looking at Sasuke.
"I'll see what I can do." Sasuke said and left into the elevator. I nodded and went into the break room and fell asleep on a table because it is really hard to sleep when your penis is awake. I woke up four hours later and I walked out of the break room to see Neji walking up to me holding something in his forearms.
"For you." Neji said handing me the present. I opened the box and there they were my new knives and as I told Sasuke that how I wanted them. Gaara came up to me and smirked.
"Nice knives you got there; you do know now you have to talk to Sasuke right." Gaara said admiring my new knives I put the lid back on and nodded leaving the restaurant and walking to the elevator and pressing the up arrow and sighed. I walked in with my present in my arms and made sure to go over what I wanted to say before I went into his office looking like a damn fool. I made it to the top floor where the presidents' offices were, and I walked to the middle one where I saw the Uchiha fan on the door. I knocked on the door and waited until I heard a 'come in' I turned the door knob and opened the door and I saw Sasuke sitting in his desk and I walked into his office and sat in a chair that was in front of his desk.
"I see you got them is there something wrong with them?" Sasuke asked and stopped whatever he was doing on the computer and turned towards to me.
"No their perfect and I wanted to thank you for getting them for me." I said looking at Sasuke trying to test him.
"You're welcome." He said and he failed my test and I knew what I had to do.
"Sasuke why is Karin working for us?" I asked putting the knives in the chair next to mine.
"Why?" He asked
"Well I always wondered why." I said trying not to let him read the real reason on my face.
"To keep her out of trouble and sober." Sasuke said.
"Well obviously that doesn't sound like a good person you want to govern your employees even you know that. I mean why don't you fire her because she bullies the employees' and sometimes she's rude to the customers and let's not point it out but both Ten-Ten and Sakura are pregnant so the stress that Karin is putting on them is going to give them both miscarriages." I said in one breath. "The only reason why this building is running is because of the customers' and if Karin keeps going at the rate she is we all won't have a job to come too." I also said looking at Sasuke with a serious face.
"This isn't because you don't like her." Sasuke said leaning back in his chair.
"Well that is true Sasuke I don't like Karin hell I can't stand the bitch but I love my job and I just don't want to be forced to quit my job because of something she did at least let me get fired because something I did." I said
"Fine I'll see what I can do." Sasuke said as before and I started to stand up. "But before you go I want you to sign something." Sasuke said taking out a lot of papers.
"Why?" I asked sceptical.
"It's just that this was the sixth complaint about her so I make employees' sign their names just so it doesn't look like I'm the only one feeling a certain way." Sasuke said handing me a pen.
"Where should I sign?" I asked and bent down over the desk and signed where ever Sasuke pointed to and when I finish I put the pen down and bowed to him I really didn't read what the document said because it was in small print and had to many damn words. Before I left I felt Sasuke grab me.
"Naruto I need to talk to you about what happened..." Sasuke started
"No I don't want to talk about it if you don't mind." I interrupted.
"Fine I want you to come with me tonight to go to the hospital." Sasuke said turning away from me. Even now Sasuke still hates the hospital I sighed and thought it over.
"Fine but you're buying me dinner if I stay out all night." I said and finally left his office with my present, and going back down to the lobby, and going into the restaurant into the kitchen and started to work because I was late.
"Should you tell your parents that you won't be able to make your curfew tonight so you don't get in trouble." Sasuke said smirking.
"I almost laughed but if I was you I would be nice to me." I said smiling at Sasuke.
"Why is that?" Sasuke said
"I haven't tried my knives out yet and they do look sharp." I said admiring the box.
"Understood your dismissed." Sasuke said turning his chair back to the computer. "You're a distraction."
I smiled and left and today was very long and agonizing day it was close to closing and I was cleaning the little bit that I had in the kitchen and walked out the kitchen and closed the restaurant and saw everyone waiting in the lobby.
I saw Gaara and walked up to him.
"What's up with the crowd?" I asked him and Gaara turned to me and smirked.
"Karin is giving her goodbye because after today she won't be working with us anymore."Gaara said smirking at me and I shook my head not believing that I have such a huge influence on Sasuke. I guess Karin was done because everyone started to walk out the building and then I saw the grave shift workers pass us I waved to them and they waved back. I walked to my car and opened my door and got in the driver seat I heard my name being yelled out and I looked to see Sasuke walk up to me.
"Need something?" I asked.
"Remember your supposed to come with me to the hospital." Sasuke said
"Oh yeah get in." I said and looked at my 'boss' just standing there. "What the hell are you kidding me?" I asked looking up at Sasuke still standing there.
"I know how you drive and I want to make it to the hospital not my grave or be a patient in the hospital either." Sasuke said
"Your still alive aren't you so what's the matter." I said glaring at the bastard.
"Naruto you recklessly drove into the middle of an intersection and into a park filled with children." Sasuke said
I groaned and got out of my car to stand in front of the bastard.
"You drive into the intersection one time and he holds it against you no one got hurt and it was a shortcut." I said angry
"You cheat on him one time and he keeps on throwing it back in your face years later and you gave him a job, and no it was not a shortcut when it surprises the people walking." Sasuke mocked me while smirking at me.
"Don't mock me. My heart was broken." I screamed
"Oh yeah thank god for a seatbelt or I wouldn't be here." Sasuke said calmly
"Oh stop being such a baby you only banged your head on my dashboard." I said and looked at him getting into the driver seat and I walked around my car and got in the passenger seat..
"You gave me a concussion." Sasuke said "And Naruto I don't want to open any old wounds or anything but did you grow." Sasuke said trying to adjust the driver seat.
"Shut up just because you had a freaky growth spurt doesn't mean I'm short your only like 5 inches taller." I said to him
"God damn feel like I'm driving a car made for a little person." Sasuke said smirking at me. "I told you to drink milk but no you only wanted mine." Sasuke said and starting my car up and driving out of the parking garage
"Oh my god I can't believe you said that." I said giving up on that conversation because I knew if I continued with this man he would come up with more innuendos.
"What it's the truth." Sasuke said while smirking and driving off.
"So what's wrong with you? And why couldn't you just drive your car and I would of followed you." I asked looking at Sasuke
"Nothing is wrong with me it's a visit I want you to meet someone, and I know you would try to escape so I'm eliminating all possibilities of getting away from me." Sasuke said.
"Who?" I asked
"The real reason I been having sleepless nights." Sasuke said ending the conversation there.
"You know I could just either take a bus, a taxi, or the train." I said plainly.
"All things you hate doing because of the fact that when you were in a taxi you were in a car chase, on the train you were molested, and the same thing happened on the bus so I'm not that worried." Sasuke said
"Please I outgrew those fears." I said folding my arms.
"Okay." Sasuke said slowing down and pulling over. "I'm not going to make you come with me if you go down this road you will be at a train station that will drop you back at the job and I'll give you your car back and pick up mine and we can go our own separate ways." Sasuke said smirking at me I was about to but ever since Sasuke brought this car for me which was the real reason I outgrew it because of the fact that I didn't have to ride any public transportation I could drive myself.
"I'm sorry I was just joking." I said and laughed
"So you never told me who we are going to meet." I said again
"A family member." Sasuke said starting to drive again.
I knew practically all of Sasuke's whole family. I mean I never made any personal connection with any of them except Sasuke's parent of course because they were the only ones that mattered really. Sasuke and I arrived at the hospital and got out the car and followed after Sasuke. I watched as the female nurses fawned over him and I remembered how that would bother me when Sasuke and I were dating and still bothers me after we are not dating I mean what's a guy to do to get a some damn attention whenever your with this guy I mean the only way is if your Neji but that's beside the point. Sasuke started to move again and I followed after them we got to a room and Sasuke went in without knocking. I should of left right then but I didn't I followed Sasuke in and saw all these machines that I didn't know what they are and a constant beeping and I walked to the bed and looked down to show a little boy probably around 10 or 12.
"Cousin of yours?"
"Nope this is my son..." Sasuke said sitting next to the boy.
"You and Karin had a kid together?" Already feeling the anger.
"Yeah and she is the reason why he is in a comatose state too." Sasuke said not looking at me but at his son.
"I'm sorry." I said not knowing what else to say and the anger receding. "How exactly did she cause this? If you don't mind me asking." I asked
"Her story was that Shiori was playing around on the stairs and he accidentally fell down them." The anger in Sasuke's eyes I couldn't even explain.
Sasuke sat down and I continued standing.
"I don't understand why did you bring me here?" I said
"So you can meet him..."Sasuke stopped and he looked like he was trying to figure out what else to say. "Remember that night that you won't stop throwing in my face he was made that night." Sasuke said still not looking at me but at his son so I looked also the boy had onyx black hair but there was a bandaged wrapped around his head not only that but there was a bandaged over his left eye. "I just want you to know that I would never lie in front of my son." Sasuke said putting a hand on his son's hair and petting it.
"What happened to his eye?" I asked
"I don't know." Sasuke said darkly making a shiver run down my spine. "Naruto I'm terribly sorry for what happened yesterday."
I look for somewhere to sit and couldn't find one so I pushed Sasuke back on in his chair and sat on his lap.
"It wasn't just your fault so no need to apologize." I said while my back was faced him. I felt his lips on the back of my neck and he wrapped his arms around my waist and placed his head on my shoulder I let him stay there. After awhile a nurse told us that visiting hours are over.
"Sasuke why don't you come over tonight." I said and starting to stand and looked behind me to see a tear streaked face. "Come on."
Sasuke agreed and stood up and bent down to the bed and kissed his son's head and walked ahead of me. I looked at the unconscious boy for the last time and followed Sasuke. Sasuke opened the driver seat door and sat in it I followed suit and I sat in the passenger and we stayed quiet until we arrived at my house.
"Listen..."I started "Sex isn't on the table." I said and got out of the car.
"What about under the table or in the chairs...I'm good with the floor too." Sasuke said getting out of the car.
"Sex isn't happening at all." I said walking up to my porch.
"I need to open my door so I need my keys." I said holding my hands out and receiving my keys and opening the door.
I took my shoes off and walked through the foyer and walked in my bedroom with Sasuke followed suit and when Sasuke walked in I closed the door and locked it a habit I couldn't break from when I was messing around with other guys I would be so scared if my roommates would walk in so to eliminate the possibility I would lock the door. I felt arms around me turning me around and Sasuke holding my waist.
"Thank you for coming tonight." Sasuke said
"Well you did pull through with the set of knives." I said not trying to pull away. "You should call Karin and tell her where you're at." I said finally pulling away. Sasuke pulled me back.
"Tell her what that I'm sleeping over at my ex-boyfriend's house." Sasuke said. "She would be here with bells on." Sasuke said
"I think that Gaara would actually kill her." I said
"So it would be our little secret then." Sasuke said letting his forehead touch my forehead walking us to my bed.
"Sasuke no sex." I said when the back on my legs touched the edge of my bed I fell which made Sasuke fall on top of me.
"I know no sex." Sasuke said kissing my forehead and making butterfly kisses down the side of my eye, to my cheek and ending at the corner of my lips. Sasuke sat up and looked down at me and my heart did that little flutter thing and I turned my head from Sasuke. Sasuke put a hand under my chin and turned me towards him and he kissed me.
"We won't have sex but you said nothing about kissing though." Sasuke said pulled away and we continued to make out. I couldn't live with myself if we continued so I turned my head.
"But this is bad too." I said to him.
"I'll agree this time but I won't next time." Sasuke said rolling off of me.
"Thank you..." I said sitting up and walking towards my draws to get some pyjamas out. I took out some shorts and tossed one to Sasuke. Sasuke and I got changed without looking at each other it was becoming so awkward and I wish that was the awkward part but that isn't the awkward part Sasuke pulled back my blanket got in my bed and went right to sleep. I didn't want to wake him up because this is probably the first night in a long while that he fell asleep so I did the next best thing I slid in next to him and laid there. I looked at my ceiling then turned my head towards Sasuke's open eyes.
"If you want me to sleep on the floor I can." Sasuke said
"Your fine unless this is awkward for you too?" I asked
"Awkward it's not that..." Sasuke moved to his back. "I just miss feeling your body next to mine and waking up to your beautiful azure eyes and your cat whiskers." Sasuke said kissing each scar that was on my face.
I blushed and looked away not wanting to look at Sasuke.
"Don't forget morning breath." I said
"Or how you would start out sleeping normal and in the morning I would always find you end up on the other side of the bed or on top of me." Sasuke said
"Oh don't even go there you slept like you were dead."
"Really the only reason why is because you took up 3/4 of the bed while I have that sad little space."
"Whatever you were sleeping in my bed."
"Okay I'll give you that but what about when you would come and sleep over at my house?"
"Your bed was so comfy back then I would always try to sleep at your house any chance I could get." I smiled
"There wasn't a lunatic standing over us while we were sleeping when you were at my house." Sasuke said turning back on his side I laughed at that and Sasuke followed after.
"I don't know why Kyuubi hated you." I said with a smile on my face.
"Because I was smarter than him..."Sasuke said.
"I think it stemmed from your brother; I mean Itachi was an super over achiever when they went to school if it wasn't in the grade department it would be with the girls." I said
"Who are you telling remember I would have three nights before a test of non-stop studying." Sasuke said.
"So all that studying was to be on the same level as your brother?" I asked.
"No all of that studying was so my aspiring cook of a boyfriend would reward me with something that was always delicious." Sasuke said showing me a genuine smile.
"I always got a joy out of it because I remember getting so scared for your physical and mental health when you would go on those studying binge you would seclude yourself from everyone even me. I would personally hate it so I wanted to make sure that even when you bust your ass that I was rooting for you to do your best and I knew I couldn't help you academically." I said
"I would always appreciate it too." Sasuke said pulling me closer. "Do you remember my reward when you would get a good grade on test?" Sasuke said running his thumb across my cheek repeatedly.
"Sasuke get your mind out of the gutter." I said. "If you keep on bringing up our old sex life you're going to make me believe that I was the best you ever had." I said
"I'm not afraid to say that the most time I enjoyed sex was when I was with you." Sasuke said kissing my cheek.
I blushed and smiled at Sasuke.
"So I am the best huh." I said
"That's what I said." Sasuke said
I rolled onto my stomach
"You know this is the most time we talked in five years." I said smiling.
"Naruto did you ever miss me when you were away?" Sasuke asked
"No I didn't." I answered truthfully.
"I did I was regretting a lot like I regretted going to that stupid party that not only cost me my relationship with probably the best person in the world but made that person hate me." Sasuke said
"I never said I hated you." I interrupted Sasuke.
"You left Japan and you did say you hated me."
"I only left because I was hurt I didn't want anything to do you." I said getting a little angry.
"What do you call that?" Sasuke said
"Sasuke think about it from my point of view."
"Naruto all I'm saying was you never let me explain myself fully." Sasuke said sitting up.
"What so you can tell me some bullshit excuse." I said sitting up as well.
"You're not innocent in this either." Sasuke said crossing his arm and leaning back on my headboard.
I was taken aback because of the audacity this asshole to say I am part of the reason why he cheated on me.
"Explain that for me because where I was standing I saw my ex-boyfriend have sex with someone else...Enlighten me Sasuke how the hell am I not innocent Sasuke." I yelled forgetting where I was because Sasuke was making me really angry.
"I didn't even want to go to the stupid party in the first place but no some idiot I was dating was persistent in making me go so because I love him I went." Sasuke yelled
"You're saying that it's my fault you cheated on me."
"Yes because I wanted to chill with you alone in the house which we had to ourselves but no you didn't want to."
"Sasuke I wasn't threatening your life you could of just said no."
"I fucking did but what did you do you kept on asking and making me feel bad so what other thing could I have done Naruto."
I didn't have a comeback for that one I looked away and Sasuke and I both sighed at the same time.
"I'm not saying you made me cheat and that wasn't even the reason why I cheated on you if I could put a reason I was angry and drunk..." Sasuke said rubbing the bridge of his nose out of anger.
I couldn't hold it in anymore I started to cry.
"Naruto I didn't want to make you cry." Sasuke said
"There is so much emotions going on right now." I said. "Okay I get it I am a horrible person."
"Naruto that's not what I'm saying all I'm saying is that I would do anything to keep you happy and if I thought that it was only one-sided I would never done anything for you." Sasuke said wiping a tear. I didn't say anything I couldn't there was to many feelings going inside me all at once from anger at myself and then at Sasuke to even his son a reason I was unsure why I also felt a huge amount of sadness for myself. Sasuke sighed and grabbed me in a embrace that was filled with not with hatred but not entirely love either. I couldn't speak I just cried into my ex-boyfriend chest who was now my boss. Life has a real sick sense of humour.
"Why does it always end up like this." I said
"I don't know."
"We could never talk our problems out we always had to fight about it and sometimes physically fight about it." I said
"We were never a normal couple." Sasuke said kissing the top of my head.
I looked up at Sasuke and I couldn't read him for the first time.
"Sasuke I feel like this was overdue..." I said pausing to get my thoughts together. "Sasuke I'm sorry." I said
"Naruto this is overdo you don't have any reason to be sorry about..."Sasuke said "I'm sorry for putting you through that." Sasuke said
I hugged Sasuke and we laid down just like that in each other's arms.
"Wait I can't go to bed just yet." I said unravelling myself from the warm embrace I grabbed my notebook and opened to my last entry and got a pen.
Dear Journal
Sasuke actually apologized to me I feel like some of the weight was lifted from my shoulders. I know this is short but because of all the crying I did I want to sleep.
