Jack then looked at his husband again in mock sterness. "You taught them to do that didn't you Taddie?" Ianto looked over his shoulder at Lily and Cooper." Did your Taddie teach you that ?" Cooper looked over at his sister then the two looked back at Ianto. "Yep."
"Cooper, Slam on your brakes, please. You need sunscreen." Ianto watched as his young son stop and turned to look at Ianto. The small boy came running back to him. As Ianto put the lotion on his young son, the little boy asked "Taddie, when's Auntie Tosh and Tommy coming?" Ianto spoke "Don't worry Cariad, They will be here soon. They had to stop by Auntie Gwen's to pick Niles remember?.Now stand still while I finish."
As Ianto finished up tending to his son, he glanced over and smiled as he saw his husband Jack holding a beach towel around lily, helping her put on her red one piece swim suit. "How are you two making out?"
Jack grinned at Ianto "Just about ready . Right little prin?" A giggle came from the towel. "Yep." Ianto chuckled , as with a florish, Jack took away the big beach towel "Ta da... A Little princess on the half shell." The little girl was clad in a one piece red swim suit that had white pokadots and a giant daisy on it. On her head was a matching sun hat. Ianto whistled as both Jack and Lily struck a pose. Ianto scooped up their young daughter in his arms and kissed her cheek. "You look fabulous, Petite"
Ianto felt Jack's arm around his waist, "And Me Yani? how do I look" Ianto looked at him Jack was in a pair of tight speedos and a tight t that showed off his almost never aging figure in just the right places and a pair of sunglasses. Smiling, Ianto kissed his husband's full lips "And you sir look darn sexy and you know it." Ianto then turned his attention to their daughter"By the way Petite . Love the sunhat. Now time for the final touch. Sunscreen."
Just as Ianto was finishing putting sun screen on his youngest , Cooper let out a yell "Tommmmmmmy.." He ran to greet his best friend. Lilly followed as she ran over to Nile and took hold of his hand and lead him back to where Jack and Ianto had set up two picnic tables. Tosh was carrying a large picnic hamper and several other items. Ianto saw she was struggling.
Ianto went up to her as he spoke " Allow me madame." as he took hold of the hamper."Ta thanks Ianto." Tosh smiled as Ianto took hold of the hamper and carried it the rest of the way to the table. As he and Tosh set the food up, Ianto glanced over at the four Torchwood kids. ( well five if you were to include his husband.)
Coop and Tommy were busy tossing a ball, While Lily and Niles were dancing to the music being played on the portable Cd player, just laughing and being silly with the music. Ianto grinned as he saw his husband smack dab in the middle of the four kids. He was on his knees , dancing and singing along with the songs that were playing. Jack also joined in the ball playing.
Suddenly, Ianto heard a whoop from Cooper and Tommy as Cooper yelled out "Torchwood pile up" Laughing Cooper and Tommy toppled on top of Jack, and Niles soon joined in. Ianto could hear Jack's voice in mock protest. "Hey this is no kinda fair.! Hey no tickling... IANTO..." To which Ianto replied in his usual deadpaned manner which he often used on Jack. "Sorry Sir. You're on your own."
Still laughing the three little boys piled on top of the protesting Torchwood captain . With a mock roar Jack sprang to his feet which caused the three laughing boys to tumble gently to the ground, Jack beat his chest wildly yet playful. He chased the boys for a few minutes then noticed Lily who was stil giggling . He headed over to where his young daughter sat, watching the scene. "Are you giggling at Daddy ogre? Is that what the deal is, little prin?" The little girl kept giggling as she nodded. "Yes Daddy." Jack then scooped her up and growled playfully in the little girl's ear " Daddy ogre get little princess." Ianto didn't worry about Jack getting rough with Lily.
As rough and tumble as things got while playing with her brother, father and the other Torchwood were very protective and watchful when it came to knew Jack loved both Cooper and Lily. With Cooper however , Jack was the fun loving father who played and joked around with him and the rest of the Torchwood kids. But when it came to his and Ianto's daughter , because her size, Jack tended to be more like a Poppa bear. Ianto knew their daughter had Jack, her older brother and their friends wrapped around her little finger and she knew it. Ianto also knew both children adored their father.
Jack tickled their daughter's chin. "Ready to go play little prin?" The little girl nodded" Swing daddy, lily wants swing." Jack then motioned to the boys. " Your wish is my command M'Lady. " He turned to the three young boys."Come on Torchwoodies . lets go hit the play ground."
