Raven tried to get him to open up anyway. "Would you like to talk about it?", Raven said as she looked at him with a concerned and caring expression on her face. "I'd rather not Rae." Beastboy responded as he had a certain look on his face, the same look Raven gives him when she doesn't want to be bothered by him. She walked over to the stove to make herself some as she pulled out the herbal leaves for the tea. "Ugh, I can't believe that you actually drink that stuff." Beastboy said as he buried his head into his hands. "I'll have you know that it's calming, it relaxes me and helps with my meditation." Raven said, putting the tea leaves in while the water was boiling. She couldn't help but look at Beastboy as she was worried about her. "Don't worry, we'll get her back Garfield.", Raven said putting a comforting hand on his shoulder. "Thanks Rae, but could you please not call me Garfield, you know how much i hate that name." The nearly deep-voiced titan said looking up at her with a small smile. "So what are you going to do about it Garfield?" Raven said as she smirked while waiting for him to make a move. "Hmmm...maybe I'll do THIS!" Beastboy caught Raven by surprise and started tickling her. She smiled and laughed along with her green-skinned teammate. Beastboy and Raven laughed and laughed, then both of them tumbled over the couch and onto the floor. Beastboy let out a soft yelp of pain as Raven kept laughing, then both of them finally looked at each other eye to eye. The laughing stopped as Beastboy got a little closer to Raven as the space between them were getting smaller and smaller as their eyes were almost fluttering shut. Beastboy got a little bit closer as his heart started pounding rapidly while Raven was getting ready to embrace her fellow teammate as her lips slowly brushed up against eyes closed completely as he slightly deepened the kiss. Raven did the same as her cheeks started turning bright red, trying to break away but couldn't as her body shut down, enjoying the kiss as she deepens it more. The purple-haired beauty and the awkward changeling kept sharing a passionate kiss then all of a sudden they hear the door open as Cyborg appears into the living room drowsily . By the time he opened his eyes, Beastboy was sitting back in his chair at the kitchen table and Raven was standing by the stove, still waiting for her tea to finish. "You two still up?" Cyborg asked as he yawned a little. "Yeah, couldn't sleep." Beastboy responded. "Same here." Raven added. "Well just don't stay up too late, we got training first thing in the morning." Cyborg said as he left the room along with the door closing behind him. The two sighed in relief as their half metallic friend left the room. "That was close." Beastboy said in relief as a small pinch of fear was in his voice. He left the kitchen and returned back to his room as he couldn't stop thinking about the kiss he had with Raven. As he closed the door behind him, the beast spoke up for the first time in months. "It's about you made on a move on our mate Master" he spoke up. "Shut it you! And she's not my mate!"
