Gee POV
Frank was sitting behind me in Math, the last class of the day. We only had three classes together, not including lunch, and this was obviously one of them. The other two classes I had with him were English with Ms. Bitch and P.E., which was hell disguised as a way to keep us active and healthy for the rest of our lives, yeah right. They just wanted to torture us and watch our pain.
Frankie passed back the note I gave him asking if he wanted to come to my house after school. His answer was yes. I looked back at him and noticed him smiling at me, so I smiled back.
Meet me by my car. I wrote and passed back.
K, I'm excited, he gave me the note. His handwriting was slanted and rushed.
"Mr. Way, Mr. Iero, would you two like to share your note with the class?" Mr. Bormann asked.
"No, not really," Frankie responded to Bormann, eyes darting to look at me.
"To bad boys, it's either you share the note, or you both get detention. So what will it be?" Bormann asked.
"Gee, I'm not really keen on both, but my mom would murder me if she found out I got detention on my first day," Frankie whispered to me.
"It's fine, there's nothing too personal on the note. We'll share the note," I announced to the class, expecting them to cheer. No cheer.
We got up and stood next to Mr. Bormann.
"Okay. 'Frank, can you come over after school-," I started.
"'Sure, I'll call my mom after school and tell I'll be gone'," Frankie read the next line.
"'Meet me by my car'," I continued.
"'K, I'm excited'. And that's it," Frankie finished our dialogue. "Do you want this?" He passed the note to Mr. Bormann.
"Yes, I do. You may sit down boys," Bormann looked at us with stone cold eyes.
As we walked back to our desks, Frankie shot me a look of boredom.
"He lives up to his name," I mouthed to him, causing a silent giggle from him. He was cute when he giggled, especially because he wrinkled up his nose.
Frankie POV
I walked to the parking lot, easily finding Gee's car since it was the only car without dozens of people leaning on it. Only Gee was there.
"Hey, can I borrow your phone? Mine just died," I asked once I was closer to him.
"Sure," he tossed it to me, I caught I luckily.
"Thanks," I smiled, he smiled back. I dialed my house phone and my mom immediately picked up.
"Frank, I'm about to leave to get you, be patient child!" she laughed.
"No, Mom, stay. I'm going over to a friend's," I told her, getting into Gee's car.
"Goodie! You have a friend! This place is so much better than the last school!" she sounded ecstatic. "What's he, or she, like?"
"Well, he's taller than me, no feat there, and he has black hair and hazel eyes. Umm, he's cool…," it was awkward explaining Gee to her because he was sitting next to me in the car. "Oh, and his name is Gerard Way."
"He sounds like a nice boy," she sounded like she was smiling. "I have to go now." She hung up.
"Here you go. Thanks," I handed him his phone back.
"No problem," he didn't look at me, he was focused on driving, and I understood. "So… what did your mom say?"
"She was excited that I have a friend finally. She was fine with me hanging out with you," I told him, absent mindedly picking at my skeleton gloves.
"She seems nice. Just a word of warning, my mom can be a bitch, and my dad can be an ass," he scowled as he drove into the drive way.
"Okay," I worried a little. What if they hurt Gee?
We walked up to the door of his house. I looked around real fast. The outside didn't look bad. Gee opened the door. Honestly, I was nervous about meeting his family. Were they as bad as Gee said, or was he being dramatic? What would they think of me? It was nerve wreaking. I walked in. The interior was spotless.
"Gerard? Mikey?" a woman's voice called out.
"Gerard. I don't think Mikey's home yet," Gee called back.
His mom walked in. She was wearing a nice dress that went a little past her knees. She had dark brown hair with a few streaks of age running through its curls.
"Who is this?" she asked, looking at me.
"This is Frank Iero. He moved here recently," Gee didn't look at her.
"Well, nice to meet you Frank," Mrs. Way smiled.
Gee scoffed then lead me up to his room. He collapsed on his bed and sighed. I just stood awkwardly by the door.
"Come here Frankie," he patted the spot next to him.
I walked over to the bed and laid down on it next to him.
"See, I'm not going to bite you," he smiled. Yet, I thought, smiling to myself.
"Who's Mikey?" I asked.
"My little brother, he's kind of like me," he told me, turning to face me.
"Oh," I turned to him.
"What do you want to do? We can sit like this for a while, or we can play video games," he pointed at a TV with an Xbox hooked up to it.
"Do you have Call of Duty?" I asked, smiling mischievously.
"Only if you're prepared to have your ass handed to you on a silver platter," he grinned.
"I think I'm the one who will be handing you your ass," I playfully stuck my tongue out at him.
We jumped up and started the Xbox up. He was good I must admit. He beat me, hard.
"Do you give in Iero?" he asked, ten rounds later.
"I give in, all powerful Lord Way," I bowed to him jokingly.
"Silly," he ruffed my hair.
"Hey! Don't do that!" I whined.
I pounced on him, going to tickle him. He ended up moving in a way that he ended on top of me. Our faces close, just millimeters apart. I could feel his heart beating a little quicker than usual, and I bet he could feel my heart beating faster. I blushed and looked away from his face.
"Hey, Frankie," he whispered into my ear, making me shiver.
"Yeah," I looked back up at him, still blushing.
"I kind of like you," he whispered back.
