Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: A New Life
Chapter Three: High Five
Well, we are all now settling into our new lives.
'Well, more so them then me when it comes to the whole Ranger thing.' I thought to myself
Right now, we are all at the Youth Center as Trini was teaching a Tai Chi Class while Kimberly, Jason, and Zack were waiting for me to climb up the rope.
'If this was a few years ago I wouldn't even attempt to do this even if someone had paid me.' I thought to myself
"Come on Paul all the way to the top." Kimberly encourage
"You can do it bro." Jason assured
I take a deep breath as I then jump onto the rope as I then start climbing. Just then I see Trini had finished her class and walks up towards our area.
"Paul, be careful. If you slip, you'll fall and hurt yourself." Trini called out
'She is just like my sister sometimes and she doesn't even know my sister.' I thought to myself
"Hey you're gonna make him nervous." Jason stated
"You're making me even more nervous then I already was." Kimberly added
"Guys, I never get nervous when I climb." I called down
For a second, I thought I was going to lose my grip but, I quickly caught myself.
'Well, not all the time anyway.' I thought to myself
I sighed before continuing climbing towards the top.
Kimberly's POV
"Guys, I'm gonna be over there. At least its down to Earth." Trini explained pointing towards one of the weight machines
After making sure that Paul was still climbing, I then turned towards Trini.
"Hey Trini, why don't you give it a try?" I inquired
"No way in hell. You will never catch me climb anything, that high." Trini explained
I then see Trini walked off over towards one of the weight machines.
"Looks like she's got the case of height fright." I mentioned to the others.
Zack and Jason just nodded as we watched Paul reach the top. Just then, Billy walked in and spotted us.
"Hey fellas." Billy greeted
"Hey Billy." Jason greeted back
"Yo Billy, my main brain." Zack greeted as he shook his hand
"What's up man?" Jason inquired
"Yeah, and what's with that instruction booklet?" I wondered
"Well, actually, I do have some exciting news to disseminate. See, I've made a significant breakthrough regarding the cross..." Billy began to explain in his techno talk
"Hey Billy, heads up." Paul called out
Paul's POV
When I had sled down. I had seen that Billy was standing directly under me but when I had called down, he didn't have time to react as I ended up landing on his shoulders and we end up swinging back and forward a few times as Billy kind of freaked out a bit until I ended up letting go of the rope which caused us to crash land on the floor next to Trini who was on one of the weight machines. She just stops and shakes her head as she looks at me with a look that my sister tends to give me quite often when I do stuff that makes her nervous and worry to death. We all then hear the others laugh at what had happen to Billy and I just now.
"Oh man that was good." Jason stated
"Yeah, you two should try out for the circus." Zack mentioned
I then help Billy stand up.
"Sorry about that Billy, I should have looked down below before sliding down." I apologized
"No worries Paul, none of us were hurt so that's all that matters." Billy assured
I then end up seeing Bulk and Skull walk into the Youth Center and over towards the others.
"Nah, the Circus don't take geek clowns." Bulk stated walking over to us
Billy, Trini, and I then walked back over towards the others and look at Bulk and Skull.
"Geek clowns that was funny Bulky." Skull mentioned
"Why don't you two just craw back into the ooze you came from." Kimberly suggested
'Nice one Kimberly.' I thought to myself
"Oh that's funny especially coming from the friend of the geek monkey boy here." Bulk mentioned looking at me
"At least I can make it all the way to the top." I told him
"Hey, hey, hey, hey." Skull called out
He then walks over towards me and points a finger at me and staring me in the eye.
"You saying Bulk can't do it?" Skull questioned
I just stare right back at him with my hands crossed over my chest.
"Yeah that's what your saying alright." Skull mentioned backing up
"Step aside." Bulk told him shoving him out of the way
Bulk then looks straight at me.
"Let me show you how it's done by a real man." Bulk stated
"Then prove it." I challenged
"Fine, then." Bulk stated
We then walk over to the climbing rope as Bulk looks at it.
"Hey Bulk, you sure you know how to work this thing?" Kimberly questioned as Zack grabbed the rope
"Well what do you think I am stupid?" Bulk questioned
"Well you know what they say if the rope fits climb it." Zack told him tossing him the rope
We all laugh at that even Skull Bulk looks at him with the look that says shut up and he does. Bulk then tried to climb but landed on his butt. We all just laugh.
"Hey Bulkie, I thought you were going up?" Skull inquired
Bulk just glared at him as he then stared at the rope once more and holds out his hands as he spits in one hand and was about to spit in his left hand when Skull quickly did it for him. Bulk just glared at him as he then shakes his head and rubs his hand. Bulk then tried again and ended up pulling the rope too hard and made bits of the ceiling fall down on his head.
"Yeah Bulk you really proved it." Kimberly stated
We all laughed.
"Yeah, proved it." Skull muttered
Bulk just shook his head as he spits out more drywall dust. We all laugh some more before walking off.
Meanwhile inside Rita's Palace
Goldar watched Rita as she just stared down towards Earth with her Repulsascope.
"My queen, how are we going to get rid of that Gold Ranger and his new team of Rangers?" Goldar questioned
Rita just laughs as she then turned away from her Repulsascope and faced Goldar.
"Those Power Rangers, especially that Gold Ranger are gonna wish they never tangled with me. I'll trap them in a time warp the same way I did Zordon, and when I'm through, the world is going to be mine." Rita explained laughing evilly
"Brilliant Empress." Goldar commented
"Yes now to the end of those Rangers." Rita mentioned
Meanwhile back inside the Youth Center
We all followed Billy over towards his locker.
"I finally completed a narrow-beam transmission module that will allow wave function over an extended interval." Billy explained
Billy then turned around and faced us as the others kind of looked at him confused. Though, it looks like that Trini was able to figure out what he was saying.
'At least I am not the only one that can understand his lango.' I thought to myself
"Well? Aren't you all excited?" Billy inquired
"Well, I will be as soon as I figure out what you just said." Zack mentioned
Billy then went over towards his locker and put in the com to open it.
"Well, it isn't really that complicated as to what he just said." I mentioned
"Paul's right, Billy basically said that he created a communication device using microwaves." Trini explained
"Affirmative." Billy confirmed
Trini then turned around and looked at me.
"For a guy who looks like a jock you're smart." Trini mentioned
"Well, I'm not really that smart, I just gave him the plans from when I made mine." I stated
"Oh." Trini stated
'More like the plans I had gotten from my dad when I had taken his place as the Gold Ranger.' I thought to myself
Billy pulled out five brand new Communicators. One Red, one Black, one Yellow, one Blue, and one Pink.
"Similar to the one that Paul has, we now have connection to Zordon and Alpha in the Command Center with these Communicators." Billy explained
He then handed them to both Kimberly and I as we then hand the others their colored Communicator.
"This is Morphenomenal." Kimberly mentioned
"They respond to tactile pressure followed by auditory stimulus." Billy explained
"So, in English, can you reexplain how does it work?" Zack questioned
"I think Billy means that we just touch this button, and talk." Trini mentioned
"This one?" Kimberly questioned
"Affirmative." Billy confirmed
"Let's test it out." Kimberly stated
Jason, Trini, Zack, and Kimberly all pressed the button and got instantly got teleported away. Billy just looks on confused as he then puts on his Communicator.
"Hmm, The neutrino power grid must have crossed molecular." Billy muttered
Billy then pressed the same button as the others did and he then suddenly got teleported away also.
"Billy must have crossed some wires." I muttered
I then reached for my Communicator as I then teleported out of the Youth Center too.
Meanwhile inside the Command Center
Alpha detects something as he walks into the middle of the room.
"Uh oh. Incoming." Alpha called out
Paul's POV
Just then I landed between the consoles still standing while the others all landed on Alpha.
"Hey. Hey, guys." Kimberly complained
They all then get off of from one another.
"You guys okay?" I inquired
"Yeah, we're fine Paul." Kimberly assured
"It appears my Communicators based from Paul's design malfunctioned." Billy mentioned
Alpha then stood up and looked at us.
"Oh. Welcome, homeboys, homegirls. What brings you to the hood?" Alpha inquired
"Too much TV." Zack mentioned
"You have no idea bro." I told him
"I command your latest invention, Billy. Not only have you created a Communicator based off of Paul's original plans from his own Communicator, you have also tapped into the Command Center's teleportation unit. With proper adjustments, it will allow you to teleport here in an emergency." Zordon explained
"Now, that sounds cool." Zack mentioned
"Not to mention will come in handy at times." Trini added
"But until Alpha can reprogram it, it will serve as a two way communication link between the Command Center and each other. From wherever you are." Zordon explained
Billy then took off his Communicator and hands it to Alpha as he begins looking it over and playing with it.
"Hmm. This is easy. I just have to reflux the...Uh-oh." Alpha began to say but stop himself short for some reason
"Guys, we better get out of the way." I instructed
We all did so as Alpha then begins running around the Command Center like a chicken with its head cut off.
"Oh. No, no, no! Ayi, yi, yi, yi, yi, yi!" Alpha cried out
Meanwhile back inside Rita's Palace
Getting impatient on waiting for the Time Device any longer, she then walked over towards Baboo and Squatt who were working on it.
"Baboo, is the time device ready, or have you messed it up?" Rita questioned
"I managed to get it ready, even though this lunkhead slowed me down." Baboo mentioned hitting Squatt on the head
Rita then walked over and took a look at it. It looks like a normal Earth looking Space Shuttle.
"Now, that looks okay." Rita told them
"It's all programed. It'll fly down to Earth." Baboo began explaining
"And wherever it lands, it'll open up a hole in time." Squatt continued
"Finster's monster will trap them in the hole and they'll be gone forever." Baboo finished
Rita nodded as she then walked into Finster's lab and then walked over towards Finster himself.
"Finster, the time device is ready. Time to pick a monster." Rita informed him
She then turned and walked over towards a table filled with sculptors of past monsters as well as more newer ones.
"The babies, which one of the delightfully hideous creatures are we using?" Rita inquired
She then begins to gently rub her finger on one of the slightly moving sculptors.
"Hahaha! Cootchy, cootchy coo." Rita muttered
"Uh, none, my Queen. I'm making a new one named Bones. I'm sure he'll be perfect." Finster informed her
Rita then turned back over towards Finster and walked over towards him.
"He better be." Rita warned
Rita then looked over the newest monster sculptor.
"He's so gruesome and ugly. Just what I wanted." Rita stated
"Thank you, my Queen." Finster thanked
Finster then grabs the sculptor of Bones as he then walks over to his Monstermat machine.
"I've set the Monstermat for full power." Finster mentioned
Finster then sits it on the machine's belt as he then begins to load the sculptor of Bones into the machine.
"Ah. The Power Rangers will be helpless against him." Finster mentioned
He then pulled down on the lever as the machine starts up and making noises. Getting impatient, Rita turns towards Finster.
"What's taking so long?" Rita questioned
Rita then turned back towards Finster.
"He's going to be overcooked." Rita complained
Suddenly, the machine spits out nothing but bones, a cape, and a hat. Suddenly, the bones come together and forms a skeleton like creature wearing a magicians hat and cape.
"Hey." Squatt called out as him and Baboo start to walk into Finster's lab
But before Squatt could get far, he wacks his head on the swinging dung bell.
"Oh." Squatt muttered as he falls to the ground
Bones then picks up his head and puts it on.
"Hahaha! I am Bones, at your service." Bones greeted
"Hmm, perhaps I should have set the machine on low." Finster mentioned
Rita smiled as she then turned back towards Baboo and Squatt.
"All right, salad brains, it's time to launch the time device. And I don't want any mistakes. I want the Power Rangers gone." Rita ordered
"You want me to launch it?" Baboo inquired
"YES!" Rita yelled out
Backing up a bit, Baboo then grabs a box with a lever on it.
"Of course my queen, I've just got to pull this lever." Baboo mentioned
"Oh boy, I hope he knows what he's doing." Squatt stated closing his eyes
"Ready?" Baboo questioned
Squatt just nodded
"And fire." Baboo confirmed pushing on the lever
Suddenly, the shuttle flies off the table and flies out of the palace and heads for Earth.
"Oh! Where is that thing?" Rita questioned
Rita then begins searching for it with her Repulsascope.
"I can't wait to trap those Power Geeks in my time warp." Rita mentioned
She then suddenly sees it as it flies into Downtown Angel Grove.
"There it is." Rita pointed out
She then sees everyone running away in panic as the Time Device disquise as a toy space shuttle goes flying through the streets.
"Yes, it's working." Rita confirmed
"Yay." Baboo cheered
"Hooray." Squatt cheered
Meanwhile back in Downtown Angel Grove
The Time device then stopped in a small dirt hill as the front nose then opens out and begins to slowly opening up a time warp portal in the sky.
Meanwhile back inside the Command Center
The Alarm sounded.
"Oh man, the alarm." Zack complained
"This can't be good." Trini stated
"What's going on Zordon?" I questioned
"It's Rita. She sent a device to open a time trap. And the Putty Patrol is gathering outside of town." Zordon informed us
"What's Rita's game here with this?" Jason questioned
"If I have to guess, she may be trying to trap us in the same time warp she did with Zordon." I theorized
"Paul's right, that has to be her game." Billy agreed
"I'm also in agreement with the this theory." Trini stated
"We also have to figure out what the Putties are doing outside of Angel Grove too." Jason pointed out
"Especially if it is connected with this Time Device she sent to Earth." Kimberly stated
"Find out what they are up to while myself and Alpha analyze the Time Device." Zordon instructed
We all nodded as dad then turned towards us.
"You guys ready?" Alpha inquired
"We are." I confirmed
"Alpha, prepare to teleport them to the outskirts of town." Zordon instructed
"Right." Alpha stated
"Good luck Rangers and let the power protect you." Zordon told us
"Thanks Zordon." Trini thanked
"Teleporting now." Alpha confirmed pushing a few more buttons
"We're out of here." I stated
The six of us are then teleported out of the Command Center.
Meanwhile in the Outskirts of Angel Grove
We then landed in the outskirts of town as we then look around.
"Okay guys stay low we don't want them to see us." I told them
"Right." Trini agreed
"Okay." Kimberly stated
We all then walk slowly over towards where the Putties were gathered as we stay hidden behind a mountain wall and just spy on them.
"What are they up too?" Zack questioned
"I know, they're just standing around doing nothing." Kimberly stated
"That's for sure." Trini agreed
"We better stay here and keep and eye on them." I instructed
"I agree with Paul, we need to figure out what they are up to." Jason agreed
"Um, I don't believe that's a viable option at the moment." Billy mentioned
"What are you talking about?" Jason questioned
"Yeah, this is perfect camouflage." Zack pointed out
"It was about 10 seconds ago." Trini informed us
The rest of the us looked over towards them and saw more Putties.
"Great, we just been spotted." Zack stated
"We better Morph." Kimberly mentioned
"No, we have to take care of these clay heads on our own before we even use our Ranger powers." I reminded them
We then started fighting the Putties. Jason flipped over three Putties and kicked another to the ground before back spin kicking then other three he flipped over to the ground before landing and waiting for more. Zack used his Hip Hop Kido to fight the Putties while Kimberly used her Gymnastic skills. I then spun jumped upwards creating a powerful blast of wind while going up blowing the Putties away. I then landed next to Kimberly.
"Hey clay heads have some water." I told them as I moved my arms around and blasted the Putties with Water.
"Nice they really did stink." Kimberly mentioned
"Yeah they needed a bath." I agreed
"Another ninja trick I take it?" Kimberly inquired
"Yep." I confirmed
As we continue to fight off the Putties, I then happen to see that more were showing up.
"Guys, we got more Putties coming our way." I pointed out
"Man, how many more of those clay freaks is she going to send at us?" Zack questioned
I then turned towards Billy and Trini.
"Hey Billy, Trini, try to draw some of these clay dudes away." I instructed
"Right Paul." Trini stated
The two then run off as the rest of us began fighting some more Putties as quite a few of them followed Trini and Billy.
With Billy and Trini
Billy and Trini rushed off as they come to two separate trail routes.
"You go that way." Billy instructed
"Right." Trini agreed
Billy went right while Trini went left.
Back with the others
Paul's POV
Kimberly and I are now back to back as we stare down a few Putties each.
'Normally, I wouldn't be the one to ask but it's an idea none the less.' I thought to myself
I then turned towards Kimberly.
"Hey Kimberly, how about we show these freaks how to do the tangle?" I suggested
"I'm with you Paul." Kimberly stated
I then turned towards her and hold out my hand.
"May I?" I inquired
She smiled and took it.
"You may." Kimberly stated
I then spin her around as we end up switching sides and each kick a Putty to the ground before we did another dance moving, moving back to our original spots and took down another Putty each with another kick to the chest.
Back with Trini
Trini looks around before getting an idea as she then hides under a small hiding spot underneath an edge of a very small mountain edge. Suddenly, the three Putties that had followed her was standing around on top of a edge of a mini cliff unknown to the fact that Trini is right underneath them. They look below before jumping to the lower ground and run off trying to find her, but continues to be unaware of her being directly behind them. Once, they were out of sight, Trini took a deep breath and stood back up and looked up towards the big mountain base and sees Billy climbing up the mountain with a signal Putty following right behind him.
"Billy. Billy, come back. You'll fall." Trini called out fearing for her friend's life
Either Billy doesn't hear her or just ignore's her pleas as he continues to climb up the mountain with the Putty right behind him.
"Billy. You're too high." Trini called out again
Billy just kept climbing as the lone Putty keeps following him.
'I have to help him.' Trini thought to herself
She took in a deep breath as she then goes over towards the mountain base to begin climbing up it to reach Billy.
Back with Billy
After a few moments, Billy had reached the top as he looked behind him to see that the Putty is still following him as he then continued forward but quickly found himself at the edge of the top of the mountain.
"Whoa." Billy cried out as he manage to catch himself form going over the edge of the mountain cliff
Billy turned around and sees the lone Putty still following him. He quickly goes to reach for his Communicator but finds that it isn't on his wrist and then remembers why.
"Alpha." Billy muttered
Back with Trini
"I'm afraid, but I can do this. Billy needs me." Trini reminded herself as she continued to climb up the mountain
Back with Billy
Nervously, Billy digs out his Power Morpher getting ready to Morph but, due to all the nerves he was currently feeling, he ends up dropping down the edge of the cliff.
"My Power Morpher." Billy called out
Billy just looks on as it continues to roll on down the cliff. Billy then turned back towards the Putty as he sees it coming closer to him as he nervously looks back down the edge of the mountain edge.
"HELP!" Billy yelled out
Back with Trini
Trini stop for a moment as she took in another deep breath as she then sees Billy's Morpher coming tumbling down. She quickly reached out and grabbed it before it could go any further.
"Billy's Morpher." Trini muttered
She took in another deep breath as she looks down below her before looking back up towards Billy.
"I can't do it." Trini muttered
She then quickly took another deep breath.
"But I have to." Trini reminded herself
Back with the other Rangers
Paul's POV
"Back off." Kimberly demanded as she kicked a Putty to the ground
Suddenly, all the Putties gather into a big circle around us as they begin to slowly close the gap between us and them beginning to trap us in a giant circle.
Back with Billy
"Uh." Billy muttered
Back with Trini
Finally, Trini manage to reach the top and looks straight at the Putty inching closer and closer to Billy who was trying not to go over the edge.
"Hey, dirt bag." Trini called out
Both the Putty and Trini turned towards her.
"Leave him alone." Trini told the Putty
Trini then rushed over and got in front of Billy and got into her fighting stance
"Come on." Trini challenged the Putty waving her hand to it
The Putty takes the bait as it charges in as Billy quickly grabs Trini by her shoulders and moves the both of them to the side as the Putty ends up going over the cliff. Trini and Billy quickly go over to the edge and looks as the Putty goes crashing down to the bottom of the mountain.
"That was truly Morphitudinous, Trini." Billy commented
"Thanks, Billy." Trini thanked
She then digs out his Power Morpher and holds it out for him.
"Here, I think you drop this." Trini mentioned
Billy smiled and took it.
"Thanks Trini." Billy thanked
Trini then looked down the mountain and saw their friends in trouble as several Putties have them trapped within a circle.
"What about them?" Trini wondered
Billy looked towards where Trini was pointing towards and see their friends in trouble as well.
"They're in trouble, we've got to get down there and help them." Billy mentioned
Billy then turned back towards Trini.
"Let's go." Billy told her
Trini nodded as the two then run off to go and help the others.
With Zack, Kim, Jason, and Paul
'Wait, it might be crazy, but it just might work.' I thought to myself
I then quickly spread my arms out as best as I could.
"AHHHHHHHH!" I screamed out as I summoned energy into my hands and shoved the Putties away from us as they all fall to the ground
"Whoa, now that was awesome bro." Zack commented
"Thanks bro." I thanked
We then see more Putties coming our way.
"Look out, more Putties incoming." Jason called out
I then turned towards Zack and Kimberly.
"Zack, Kimberly, let's form a human Chain." I instructed
Zack then jumped onto my shoulders.
"Locked on." Zack confirmed
Kimberly then jumped up and linked her arms around Zack's legs and stretch out her legs.
"Go." Kimberly instructed
Zack then lied down with his legs going up and his arms out. I then spun around. The Putties got either punched or kicked sending them all to the ground, and some of them landing on the small cactus trees. I stopped spinning as Kimberly let's go of Zack's legs as Zack then got off of my shoulders.
"Yeah, that worked." Zack cheered
"Yeah." Kimberly agreed
Billy and Trini then came up to us
"You guys okay?" Jason inquired
"Yeah we're fine." Billy confirmed
Meanwhile back inside Rita's Palace
Rita just sees the Putties run away in pain after having all been knocked into the small cactus trees.
"Oh." Rita muttered
She then turns away from her Repulsascope and towards her Bones monster who is standing nearby.
"All right, Bones, go do your stuff." Rita ordered
Bones nodded as he then disappeared from the palace.
Meanwhile at the Angel Grove Amusement Park
Suddenly, Bones appeared at the Angel Grove Amusement Park in pieces as it then quickly regenerated back together.
"Now where are you Power Rangers?" Bones questioned
Meanwhile back inside the Command Center
Alpha and Zordon had witness the entire thing from the Command Center and couldn't have been anymore prouder of the newest Rangers.
"Congratulations, Power Rangers. You've done a superb job dealing with the Putties." Zordon commented
"Thanks Zordon." Paul thanked through the Viewing Globe
"And special congratulations to you, Trini, for overcoming your fear in the face of an emergency." Zordon congratulated
"Thanks Zordon." Trini thanked
Suddenly, the alarms inside the Command Center started going off.
"Ayi, yi, yi! The alarms." Alpha cried out
"Hold your positions, Rangers. Our scanners picked up a new threat. Rita has sent a creature named Bones down to the Angel Grove Amusement Park. He can fire energy bolts out of his eyes, and jump long distances, and even make himself disappear." Zordon revealed
"He probably controls the time device as well." Paul mentioned through the Viewing Globe
"It's time to get moving, Power Rangers. Paul you know what time it is." Zordon instructed
"Right Zordon." Paul confirmed through the Viewing Globe
Meanwhile back in the outskirts of Angel Grove
"IT'S MORPHING TIME." I yelled out
"GORILLAZORD!" I yelled out
"MASTODON!" Zack yelled out
"PTERODACTYL!" Kimberly yelled out
"TRICERATOPS!" Billy yelled out
"SABER-TOOTHED TIGER!" Trini yelled out
"TYRANNOSAURUS!" Jason yelled out
Meanwhile back in the Angel Grove Amusement Park
Once Morphed, we teleported down to the Angel Grove Amusement Park.
"Gorilla, Gold Ranger." I called out getting into my fighting stance
"Mastodon, Black Ranger." Zack called out getting into his fighting stance
"Pterodactyl, Pink Ranger." Kimberly called out getting into her fighting stance
"Triceratops, Blue Ranger." Billy called out getting into his fighting stance
"Saber-Toothed Tiger, Yellow Ranger." Trini called out getting into her fighting stance
"Tyrannosaurus, Red Ranger." Jason called out getting into his fighting stance
"Power Rangers." We all called out
"Ah Rangers so good of you to join me." Bones greeted as he jumped down from one of the Amusement Park buildings
"You're going down bone man." I informed him
"Here. Let me help you get ahead." Bones told us as he then takes off his head
"Whoa, what is that freak doing?" Kimberly questioned
He then throws his head into the air as the rest of him then disappeared. Suddenly, it began spinning around in the air.
"What's it doing?" Zack questioned
"I think we're about to find out." Jason stated
Suddenly, Bone's spinning head causing us to be sucked into vortex of some kind.
"WHOA!" We all cried out
Meanwhile inside the Time Warp
We all then landed on the ground in some type of world.
"Is everyone okay?" I questioned
"Yeah I think so." Billy stated
"This is weird." Kimberly mentioned
"Man How strange." Zack stated
"Man, what is this place?" Jason questioned
"This must be the Time Warp that Zordon warned us about." I mentioned
"Too freaky." Trini muttered
"Look out." Jason called out
Just then we see Bones appeared in front of us with a sword in his hand as he quickly passed us by slashing his blade on our chests causing us to go to the ground.
"Okay Rangers, Blade Blasters up." Jason instructed as he pulled out his and switched to Blade Mode
"Right." The others agreed as they pulled their Blade Blasters out as well doing the same
I then draw out Xavier. We all then charge in and begin fighting Bones.
Normal POV
While the Rangers were fighting Bones, Baboo and Squatt had appeared within the Time Warp and are watching the Rangers fighting Bones and not doing so hot.
"Wowie." Squatt muttered
Squatt then pulls out a big blaster bomb.
"This ought to do it." Squatt stated
Him and Baboo then begin walking over towards the Time Device.
"Whoa! This place is weird." Baboo mentioned
"Oh boy." Squatt cheered
Squatt then placed the bomb ball right next to the Time Device.
"Now to blow up the Time Device and trap them here." Squatt mentioned
"Come on, Squat, hurry up." Baboo told him as Squatt stretches out the fuse cable
Squatt then begins to dig in his bag.
"You did bring the matches, didn't you?" Baboo questioned
Squatt just continued to look through his bag for the matches.
"I told you not to forget them." Baboo told him
"I didn't forget them. They got to be in there." Squatt assured
"Oh, let me see that." Baboo told him shoving Squatt's hand out of the bag
Baboo then looked in the bag and finds the matches as he then grabs them.
"Here they are." Baboo stated
Squatt then grabs the fuse cable as Baboo takes out a match from the box and lights it.
"Now, just hold it steady so I can light it." Squatt instructed
Baboo holds the lighted match as Squatt sticks the end of the fuse cable in the fire lighting it.
"There." Squatt told him
Baboo then put out the match as Squatt continues to hold the fuse cable while it is beginning to burn.
"Oh, boy. Now we're going to get...Oh." Squatt began to mentioned before getting burned by the burning fuse cable as he then drops it on the ground as him and Baboo just stare at it
"Yay." Baboo cheered as Squatt just jumps up and down in excitement
Paul's POV
I go to attack Bones once more but I am quickly knocked to the ground next to Kimberly.
"Paul, you okay?" Kimberly questioned
"Yeah, I'll be fine." I assured
Kimberly then spots something.
"Paul, look." Kimberly pointed out
I look over towards where Kimberly was pointing at and see a fuse cable having been lit as it heads for the Time Device as the others quickly joined us.
"Oh no, if that Time Device is blown up before we destroy Bones, we'll be trap inside this Time Warp." I explained
"Yeah, but how?" Kimberly inquired
"We need to think of something and fast." Trini pointed out
"I have an idea, Jason, you're with me." I instructed
"Right bro." Jason stated
"What's the matter Rangers don't get a head of yourselves you can't defeat me." Bones mentioned
"Jason, let's move." I told him
"Right." Jason agreed
The two of us jumped over the cracked ground as we then grab a hold of Bones by holding his sword down with Jason's Blade Blaster and me with Xavier.
"Guys, now." I instructed
"And hurry." Jason added
"Hey Bone head, don't lose your head over this." Zack mentioned
Zack then jumped up into the air as he then sends a powerful kick to Bone's head causing it to go flying off of its body and to the ground.
"I've got the head." Billy stated
Billy then jumped over and grabs the head as he then wraps Bone's cape over it. He then looks over towards Trini.
"Trini, catch." Billy called out
Billy then tossed the head as she quickly catches it.
"What do you want me to do?" Trini questioned
Jason and I quickly send the Bone's body staggering backwards.
"Throw it into the Lava Trini." I instructed
"Right." Trini stated
Trini then ran over to the edge as she then looks at the cape covered head.
"Bye-bye, bone head." Trini mentioned
Trini then tossed Bone's head into the lava destroying it as we then turned around and as we then see Bone's body fall to the ground and exploded as well.
"Bad pun." I called out
"Totally." Kimberly agreed
Meanwhile back inside Rita's Palace
"Don't think you've won yet Rangers, I'm not through with you yet." Rita informed them
She then begins waving her Magic Wand around in front of her.
"Moondust, soft, and planet, send to Earth a Giant." Rita chanted
Meanwhile back inside the Time Warp
Suddenly, the whole place begins to shake.
"Hey, what's going on?" Jason questioned
Suddenly, a hole appeared in the sky showing us the outside sky in the mountains as we then see a giant head of what appears to be a knight of some kind.
"What the hell?" I questioned
Normal POV
"Yippee." Baboo cheered
"Giant, go." Squatt called out
Paul's POV
Suddenly, the creature's hand appears through the hole as he then grabs me and lifts me up and out of the Time Warp dimension.
"Hey." I called out
"PAUL!" Kimberly yelled out
"Let me down, you big ox." I demanded
Normal POV
Baboo and Squatt suddenly look at where the other Rangers were standing as well as the fuse cable that is still burning and realize that it is close to the bomb ball planted near them.
"Let's get out of here." Squatt told Baboo
"Right behind you." Baboo agreed
Kimberly's POV
Suddenly, the bomb blows up as we are then blasted out of the hole in the sky as we all end up crashing down to the rocky ground in the mountains.
"Everyone okay?" Jason questioned as we all help each other up
"Yeah, we're all fine Jase." Zack assured
"But guys, what about Paul?" I questioned pointing up towards the giant knight like monster holding Paul in the grip of its giant hand
The others looked up as well.
Paul's POV
"Man, I've had about enough of you. Let me go." I demanded
I then pulled out Xavier.
"Take this you giant ass freak." I mentioned
I then shot at the Giant with Xavier's eye beams forcing him in letting me go. I then landed on the ground as I ended up doing a quick barrow roll but quickly got back up to my feet.
"Man that might leave a mark on my helmet." I muttered
I then see Kimberly and the others rush over towards me.
"You okay Paul?" Kimberly questioned
"Yeah I'm fine." I assured
I then look back up at the giant.
"But he won't be for long." I mentioned
I then looked back towards the others.
"Hope you guys don't mind, but I'm going to take this giant freak on myself." I stated
"No worries bro, we'll stay here on standby if you need backup." Jason assured
The others nodded in agreement.
"Thanks guys." I thanked
I then looked back up at the Giant.
"Time to get moving, I need Thunder Zord Power Now." I called out
"Gold Gorilla Thunder Zord power." I called out
Just then, the Gold Gorilla Zord showed up.
"All right, you ready to rock and roll Xavier?" I inquired
"Ready when you are Gold Ranger." Xavier confirmed
"All, right, let's do this." I stated
I then hopped inside the cockpit.
"Gold Gorilla Zord, convert into Warrior Mode now." I called out as he put Xavier into the empty slot on the console in front of me.
Just then, the Gorilla Zord transformed into its Warrior Mode.
"Power up." I called out
Just then the giant came after us and I started fighting it. The giant brought his sword down towards the Gorilla Zord.
"Gorilla Sword, power up." I called out
Before the Giant's sword could strike my Zord, the Gorilla Sword comes flying down from the sky and blocks it to which the force of it flying down from the air causes him to stagger backwards a bit. I then had the Gorilla Zord pick up its sword. I then had the Gorilla Zord's free arm swing around a bit as I then send a powerful punch right at him striking the center of his chest sending him crashing to the ground. As he quickly got back up, he then charges in at me as I then command the Gorilla Zord to send a powerful kick to the Giant's chest sending him flying back towards the ground.
Down below
Kimbely's POV
"Awesome, now that was a bad ass move." Zack mentioned
"Yeah, totally." I agreed
Back with Paul
Paul's POV
"All right, now to end this." I mentioned
I then grabbed a sphere from behind me and placed it into the slot on the console in front of me.
"Gold Gorilla Thunderbolt fire." I commanded
Just then, the Gorilla Zord fired three fire balls at the Giant and then the Giant turn into dust and disappear.
Meanwhile back inside Rita's Palace
"AH! YOU ALL HAVE FAILED ME!" Rita cried out
"We're sorry Empress." Baboo apologized
"Shut it bat face." Rita ordered
She ends up kicking her Earth Globe right at him and Squatt causing them to go crashing to the ground.
"Oh, I've got such a headache." Rita complained
She then looked around the Throne Room at all of her henchmen backing up in fear.
"Somebody bring me an aspirin." Rita ordered
Meanwhile back inside the Youth Center
After the fight, Trini, Billy, Kimberly, Jason, and I had returned to the Youth Center and were sitting at a table waiting for Zack to meet up with us as we then see Ernie walk up towards the Juice Bar with classmate of ours.
"Yeah, I'm telling you, I heard it on the radio. Five Superheroes saved the park from this zombie guy. And they call themselves the Power Rangers." Ernie told her
Our female classmate just chuckled as did Ernie as the two walked off. We all smirked at each other as everyone in town has begun talking about the new heroes.
"Oh, and speaking of which, our Communicators are fully functional again thanks to Zordon and Alpha." Billy explained
We all got up from our seats as we then walk down to the gym area.
"Cool. So, like, we can teleport and communicate to the Command Center with these things just like how Paul can with his?" Kimberly inquired motioning towards her Communicator
"Affirmative." Billy confirmed
"This is like so the new millennium with a nineties touch." Kimberly mentioned
"Yeah, no kidding." Trini agreed
We all then walk over towards the ceiling rope that Ernie had manage to put back up as Jason was planning on do a turn on it. I had glance over towards hallway with the lockers to see Zack walk in. He motion for me to keep quiet as he pulls out a skull mask. I just smirk and shook my head as I turned back towards Trini and the others.
"Oh, and Trini, I really wanted to express my gratitude in helping me out today." Billy told her
"Yeah. The way you climbed those rocks was Morphenomenal." Kimberly added
"Not to mentioning that you fought through your fear of heights to help Billy." I mentioned
"I guess what they say is true." Trini stated
"What's that?" Kimberly inquired
"You really don't know what you can do until you're forced to do it." Trini explained
"So true." Kimberly agreed
"I just hope I can be that confident the next time." Trini mentioned
I happen to glance back towards Zack as he had put on the skull mask as everyone else but Trini notice him. He then jumps in front of her and growled at her. Freaked out, Trini quickly jumps onto the rope as she quickly climbs up all the way to the top in record time.
"Girl, looks like you've definitely overcame your fear of heights." Zack called out
We all laughed as Zack took off his masked.
"Zack." Kimberly teased as she lightly slap his chest
"Yeah, you said it bro." Jason agreed
We then laughed some more as Trini just climbs down and shook her head at Zack. I then start thinking about my mom and I can't help but wonder if she will be okay.
"Something wrong Paul?" Kimberly wondered
I snap out of my thoughts and looked at her.
"I'm just worried about my mom is all." I told her
"Paul, don't think like that, your mom will make it." Kimberly assured
"Yeah man, don't beat yourself on it." Zack added putting his hand on my shoulder.
"Yeah thanks guys" I thanked
AN: Well there's the third chapter for this story. I am not sure yet but if I can get the next chapter ready to post I will post it up before the end of the night if not I will have it up sometime tomorrow. So until next time, please R&R.
