AN: sorry for the long update guys so I'll give u the usual excuses. High school, people, and straight laziness. So now that's out the way enjoy the story.

Chapter 3

"So Cilly how old are you and Maxen?" The curious Edward asked

"Well I'm 14 and Maxen is 12"

"That's nice can you guys make better alchemy?"

"Nope other than that piece of junk you saw back there. That's the best we can do."

"Hmm maybe there's someone that can help you with that." Al said out of nowhere.

"Maybe, but I'm not keeping my hopes up." Cilly said absentmindly.

"Gee, negative much?" Maxen poked fun at Cilly.

"Go jump off a cliff." Cilly retorted. Al watched the interaction in amusement while Ed watched incredulously.

"Hey Rose." The restaurant owner called. All four turned to see a pretty girl with pink bangs and brown hair.

"Hello, are you four tourists here?" she asked.

"Noooo were here to look for a nice place to settle down and get married." Cilly said in a very sarcastic tone.

"Hey you don't just be out right rude to a total stranger." Maxen said while giving Cilly a smack on the head.

"You wanna go you little sissy!?"

"Bring it on tomboy!" And just like that their fighting each other again.

"I'm sorry for their rudeness" Ed and Al said to rose in unison.

"No problem." Rose replied.

"So why are you here?" she asked, looking at the miniature dust cloud Cilly and Maxen was creating. "We're just here to check out a few things." Ed said nonchalantly.

"Oh, are you interested in Lidoism?" Rose asked excitedly.

"Actually we-." Ed was cut off by a shoe hitting him in the back of his head

"Hey will you guys knock it off already!? I'm trying to have a conversation over here!" Ed said completely ticked off.

"Stay out of this midget. This is not your fight!" Cilly and Maxen said while still fighting.

"I didn't want to have to do this. But you leave me no choice." Al said while clapping his hands together and tying Cilly and Maxen in chains.

"Hey let us go!" Cilly demanded. Al shook his head.

"Only if you two stop fighting." Maxen and Cilly began to protest.

"Well then, you aren't getting out of these chains then." Ed said smugly. Cilly sighed in defeat. "Fine." Maxen said.

Then Al released the chains and Cilly and Maxen looked at each other and said "Sorry."

"Ok then as I was saying. We were just thinking about going there for a while to drop these two off."

"Hey! I thought you guys said you were gonna help us find our parents?!" Cilly said angrily.

"No we agreed to help you out of the desert." Ed said replying smugly. Cilly saw red, and it wasn't coming from Ed's coat. With a loud battle cry, Cilly launched herself at Ed. Caught off guard, Ed was kicked in the stomach. He retaliated by punching Cilly's side. She retaliated by another kick. They wrestled in the dirt as they insulted each other.

"Microbe midget!" Cilly cried as she yanked on Ed's braid.

"Immature girly-girl!" Ed retorted, as he tore his braid out of Cilly's grasp and tackled her.

"Idiotic half-pipe!"

"Hot tempered brat!"

"Short!"

"Dumb!"

"That's enough. Your both acting hot tempered and dumb!" Al said loud enough for them to stop.

"Now I had about enough of you guys always arguing and fighting. Either make up or don't speak to each other."

"But he started it!" Cilly said whining.

"I don't care who started it. I'm finishing it."

"Wow Al I never really seen you snap like that." The astonished Ed said.

"Well you better get used to it if you two don't make up!" Al said. Cilly sighed and clapped her hands together before holding out her hand.

"Tru-AHHHHH!" Transmutation sounds had been heard and Ed looked down to see his aoutomail arm transmutated into A deformed baboon. Cilly cackled and ran away from Ed

"You little twerp when I get my hands on you!" his voice went quieter as he chased after Cilly.

"Sigh. Do you have to deal with this every day?" Al said disappointed.

"Well you get used to it." Maxen said while patting Al on the back. Just then Maxen felt something strange.

"I'm gonna go find brother. Come on!" Al said.

"Yea I'll catch up." Maxen couldn't tell exactly what he felt when he touched Al.

"I'm gonna have to keep a close eye on him."
