Jaden Kaiba: Prince of Duel Monsters

Jaden was adopted by Seto Kaiba as a kid and trained by not only him but Yugi Moto as well. How will Duel Academy handle Jaden Kaiba? May have cards from 5Ds and Zexal but no Synchro or Xyz cards or cards I know 100% that are from 5Ds and Zexal. Rated M for language and possible adult situations.

Hey everyone. This is DCMatriXHunter here with news about the future of Jaden Kaiba...Wow that sounded a lot like an abandonment notice but breathe easy it's not.

I am here to tell you that the story is on hiatus if the long no update period is anything to go by. Originally I was just stuck on the next chapter but as time went on my ADD acted up and I got more story ideas till I was focusing only one them. Then I started looking for a job. Then started doing work for my GED.

Then tragedy struck. Found out my grandmother had at best 5 years left. Found out that was a lie and if the radiation treatment works she'll have a year left. Brain tumor. She had breast cancer a number of years ago and we thought it was gone. Then a couple years ago she broke her hip and we found out the cancer was in the bone. After getting a piece of metal to replace the bone in each leg she lost the sight in her left eye and we found out the tumor moved from her jaw to her brain.

Due to this I am trying to occupy my time by working on my story ideas and making them from a single idea into an entre guideline before I write for them. But I don't know when I'll be posting anything. I have a few loyal readers of this that have been waiting for nearly a year for an update and for that I apologize from the bottom of my heart as I've been there waiting for a story to update.

But what I do have planned for the story is as follows:

A complete re-work of the idea. I realized that I didn't have an actual idea for this story and was just free-handing everything for it. I literally started writing this story an hour after I got the idea.

A total re-write of the story as it isn't up to my standards. It was a good first try but there is so much more I want to do for it such as increasing chapter length and adding more descriptive details. Also improving dialogue is a major thing.

Make him a better deck that doesn't just focus on big powerful dragons. I need to add some new cards to make it so he has more surprise traps and spells and not just stuff to get the big bad lizards out onto the field.

So hopefully when I do start posting my other stories you all will read them and like them just as much as you have this story if not more.
