Razel was still on high alert, as they got closer to the apartment Ureg had just been shot and Razel blamed himself. If he wasn't so busy berating the krogan he would have seen the red dot sight earlier and saved him from any harm at all but he was alive and that was good enough for now.

Still in the ventilation Verona decided to go, to plan b if she got rid of Razel she could kill Ureg with little interference. Seeing the other two nearing the apartment, she walked across the bridge directly above where they would be walking and dropped some level five biotic grenades keeping them invisible until she was out of range.

Boom

The floor beneath their feet rumbled as an explosion took out the upper bridge screams of the falling citizens were mixed in with the loud cry of rubble falling down. The first thing to come to Razel's mind was aggravation 'really goddamn, it they want him dead!' He thought as he pushed Ureg far away. He made effort to move out of the way but was stunned when he was suddenly shot with a paralyzing blaster keeping him in place.

He looked up in time to see a large piece of rubble about to crush him he closed his eyes and waited for impact…but it never came the screaming stopped as well. Was he already dead and the silence was just comforting him? No he could hear his heart beating a mile a minute. He opened his eyes and looked around in shock.

The bolder couldn't have been more then two inches above his head it was floating glowing with purple energy and slowly retreating away from him. He looked on in disbelief as he watched the bridge reconstruct itself glowing with purple energy while safely placing each falling citizen down.

This was incredible by the time it was finished it was as if nothing had ever happened. Still busy looking up at the fine job as the energy vanished Ureg walked up to Razel and put a hand on his arm. "Are you alright Razel?" the taller krogan looked down confused. "What was that? " he asked "I've never seen anything like it before."

Ureg shrugged his shoulders "I have no idea I've never seen it before but what ever it was it was incredible." Razel nodded in agreement before pushing Ureg to keep walking. "Alright come on we should get back into the house before something else happens."

The crushing sound of metal could be heard as Verona destroyed the detonator for the biotic grenades in the explosion she had made it back to the apartment and hidden her gun. She was more aggravated then ever now not only did she miss her shot because of Razel. Now Ureg had some other unknown bodyguard one who by the looks of it was extremely gifted in biotics they were probably hired to work for him in secret. She threw the broken detonator in the trash just as the two krogan walked through the door. She worked her self up and ran over to them.

"Oh thank goodness your alright! I heard there was a shooing in the square and then that explosion. Are you both ok? Sir your arm let me fetch the medi-gel" Ureg smiled as the asari worried for his well-being. He turned to Razel and gave him a playful push. "Bad attitude aside, fantastic work today. Razel I'm going to put in an order for that blaster you've been eyeing in the catalogs. You deserve it after today"

Razel shook his head, pulled Ureg over to the sofa, and made him sit down. "You don't have to do that I was just doing my job" he said as he took the makeshift bandage off. "Your already paying me a 100k a day I don't need more then that."

He stopped for a moment and thought about what he was saying. "On second thought yeah go ahead and get it." His current blaster lacked the range needed to fight a sniper that new gun would help him out a lot. Verona came back with the medi-gel and smeared some over the wound letting it set and begin to heal.

Ureg stood up his trademark smile on his face "well I don't know about you two but I've had enough for one day I'll be going to bed. Verona pleas inform my…clients that I will see them all as scheduled times tomorrow" She nodded her head and started jotting down the information.

Razel rubbed his head and thought back to the bridge. He had never seen someone that powerful before whom ever it was he was glad they were around to lend a hand. He needed to find out who it was and see if he could enlist their help. He was definitely going to stay now who ever took that shot made a fool of him by actually wounding Ureg.

It was his damn pride that gave them a chance and he wasn't going to let it happen again. He went to his room and took off his battle armor stretching his arms and put on a pair of tight shorts. He walked out into the living room to be met with a lustful smile from Ureg who was getting a drink from the fridge. "Now that is a beautiful view."

He groaned and took the drink from Ureg and started to drink it himself. "Don't get used to it. Your lucky you saw this much of me anyway. I need to air out my armor if you ever worn some you know it gets smelly after a while." Ureg looked the other over before getting another drink. "

You know I do have a washer machine if you need to clear that suit of yours. There is also a shower in the hall if you need to wash up." He started to drink his beverage before he walked past the other "You know you could always walk around in that. I find it better then your armor anyway." He walked down the hall to his room chuckling as he shut the door.

Razel was not entertained by the comment in fact it only made him want to get dressed faster. He walked back to his room and put his armor into the wash before heading to the shower. The hot water hitting his hide felt good he sighed heavily and thought about what he wanted to do. First, he needed to find out who was behind that attempted murder. Second, he needed to find out who saved him and Ureg from the bridge explosion.

So much to do, and protecting Ureg took up most of his time anyway. He would need outside help to find the person from the bridge. He could ask Verona she could find them. Good now all he need to do was keep Ureg alive and deal with guest who got rowdy.

He stepped out of the shower, and dried off before heading back to his room to check on his armor. He put it back on and went over to his spot where he slept at Ureg's door. Tonight however he was going to sleep inside the room. Pulling up a chair he sat direct next to Ureg today was to close a call for him to feel the other was save with him sleeping outside. He would keep a close watch on him for the coming weeks.

Two weeks passed fast with barely any incident at the end of the day Ureg went to sleep and Razel took his place next to his bed to watch over him.

Verona went to her room and received another video call; locking her door, she walked over to the console and turned it on. The figure from before looked at her seeming slightly content at her angry face. "You look like you have something you need to get off your chest." He said some sarcasm to his voice.

She glared at him and took a deep breath. "There is a second bodyguard" She said causing the figures smile to fall. "What? What do you mean there is a second bodyguard?"

He returned to his angry voice letting the other know just how displeased he was. "Are you fucking kidding me? You told me the blue-eyed krogan was the only problem and now you spring this? Well who is it?" he demanded seeming quite annoyed there was another snag in their plans.

She groaned in aggravation. "I don't know I tried to bury Razel and Ureg in rubble only for them to be saved by some powerful unknown biotic." A loud bang was heard from the computer as the figures rage built. "God fucking damn it Verona how hard is it to kill one man? I'm not asking for much!"

She closed her eyes and took a deep breath letting her rage subside. "If it was easy I would be done already. Once again, this is all your fault. When the boss finds out what you did and what you said you will be lucky if he doesn't kill you even after I manage to kill Ureg."

He growled threateningly at her before calming down. "Listen the guy I hired is on his way with a private ship he's brining some other krogan with him. Between the three of you kill Razel and Ureg then burn everything in that apartment to ashes leave nothing behind do you understand me?" he said sounding absolutely threatening.

She leaned back in her chair and looked at him with a silent hatred this entire endeavor was all because he couldn't hold his liquor and on top of that decided to pay someone to get lucky that night.

She had to clean up his mess once again she found it beyond infuriating but he was her superior. She had no choice in the matter. "Understood how soon will they be here? " She asked getting out her clipboard again.

"They should be there in tomorrow I already told you the meeting spot It will be the table with a red leaf on it inside the club. Don't fuck this up Verona…if you can't kill him I will replace you with someone who can."

She scoffed at that as she found it an empty threat. "I would like to see you try. It will be done you have nothing to worry about." She ended the call and thought for a moment. A perfect Krogan and now a secret biotic? She had lots' work to do.

The next evening Verona received a call from an unknown number. It was the assassins letting her know they had arrived and would be on their way to the den soon. She waiting for both Krogan to do their nightly routines and once they were both asleep, Verona stepped out of the house.

Finally, her employer's help had arrived. Dressing as nicely as she could she made her way down into the wards to find Chora's den. With the thumping music and sound of excited men, it wasn't two hard to find.

She sat down at the table with a red leaf on it and waited. Her patience was soon rewarded as two krogan walked up to her one wore mostly black armor with red highlights.

The other wore white armor and seemed to be very excited. He was about to say hello to Verona when he dropped his gun by accident causing it to go off. "..Uh sorry everyone" The krogan in black smacked the one in white. "Damn it you fucking klutz I don't know why the fuck I brought you." He was about to apologize when Verona cut him off.

"You must be the help I was informed about. I'm sorry my 'boss didn't pick you earlier this might have been over faster had he listened to me." The Krogan in black sat down and smiled. "Don't worry about it…besides here's my chance to do what I was hired to do." He stretched his hand across the table to her" Verona right? Nice to meet you…. I'm Charr"
