I DONT OWN THE TEEN TITANS
The day started at 6 sharp for Jay he went to make breakfast to find Robin leaving his room at the same time.
"Oh you're up already" robin was whispering so the other Titans could continue their sleep.
"Yea if you're not early you're late." Jay replied gaining a happy look from Robin.
The two titans walked into the common room and made breakfast for the whole team, they arrived at different times Cyborg was 5 minutes later Starfire 10 and Raven had gone to the roof to meditate and came down in 12. Beast Boy was the last to walk in with 3 minutes till 6:30 and had no time to eat because training was about to start.
Training started with an hour long run for Robin, Cyborg, and Jay, and hour long flight session/ race for Beast Boy and Starfire, and an hour of levitation for Raven. Jay and Robin competed the whole time to see who was faster and in the end Jay just passed Robin at the last second showing he was faster, Robin was happy with the completion but hated to loose pushing him to a whole new level. Unfortunately Jay also hates loosing and the competition was just starting. All day long was a completion who was the alpha normal human, for speed and archery it was Jay everything else was all Robin. Jay gave Robin a run for his money but never could quite get the job done in the end. At the end of the work out all the titans were exhausted aside from Robin and Jay they were ready to spar.
Cyborg didn't like the idea "I don't know Rob it's his first day of training spar me or BB"
"No Cyborg he wants to take on Slade he has to be as good as me"
Robin was set on this spar, Jay looked as cool and composed as ever. The team had gotten used to his attitude it was a lot like Robin in battle and training, he preferred to be alone and kept mostly to himself in his room like Raven, but got along well enough to crack jokes like Beast Boy. The titans had never met anyone like him, besides Terra and non of them would tell that to Raven. Raven liked him well enough that she had respect, but a hard time trusting him while everyone else called him a brother from another mother. She still was cautious on letting him into her life at all, though she felt very close to him at times. The spar started and Robin and Jay were as fast as lighting. Jay first went in with a right hook but it was intercepted by Robin who used Jay's momentum to launch him over his shoulder into the nearest mat. Jay got up and sprinted over to Robin like a speeding bullet. Robin expected a punch, but Jay slide under Robin which flipped him before Robin could react Jay kicked him in the gut. This was slowly becoming a fight not a spar. Jay again launched his body towards Robin who this time ducked under him and rocked him in the gut. Jay doubled over now on the ground expected Robin to throw a punch. Robin did as expected and Jay grabbed his arm, bending it behind Robins back Robin felt it was almost going to break. Robin flipped Jay over his shoulder and into the wall nearby. Jay getting up again charged Robin. Robin not knowing what to expect stood their and jumped over Jay when Jay went to grapple Robin. Robin in the air came down on Jay with both feet planted into Jay's back. Both of them were exhausted at this point, the fight had taken so much out of them, but neither would submit. That would mean giving up. They would fight this out until they could fight no more. Jay now with is chest on the ground watched as Robin ran towards him throwing his feet at Jay who rolled out of the way, and watched as Robin flew by him into the nearest wall. Robin getting up was met by the foot of Jay which rocked Robin back into the wall. Robin now getting up again dodged Jay's next few strikes. Pushing Jay back Robin launched his foot into Jay's back. Jay fell over onto his chest again. Robin went for his drop kick to the face of Jay. As soon as Robin left the ground Jay jumped over Robin attempting to kick Robin, but Robin noticed him move and expected this. Robin launched his arms and grabbed Jay flipping them over he pounded Jay into the ground and stood up. Jay was out cold, and Robin fell over in exhaustion. The two titans had exhausted the rest of the team from just watching them, the fight had taken place with in an hour, and it was more heated then meant to be. Robin was the first to speak.
"Nice job you gave me the best fight in a long time" Robin was known for gloating but he didn't feel it today.
"Thanks you're really good" Jay said before returning to his breathing.
"I was trained by the true master and Batman of course I am" Robin said as a little gloating took place.
"I trained myself after the Slade incident I was more dedicated than you could ever imagine." Jay replied like it was an answer why he couldn't beat Robin.
With that the titans dispersed each disappearing to their own rooms and cleaned up it was 11:30, and they all were exhausted. In Jay's room, he finished his training with a 4 sets of 150 pushups, 4 sets of 200 sit ups, and 5 planks at 5 minute long a piece. He grabbed a few dumbbells and did reps on both arms, and finished it all off with a light jog outside after he snuck around Cyborgs security systems (both on the way out and on the way in). Returning to his room Jay showered and hit his bed, shaking the room and he listened as Robin cam out of his thinking the tower was under attack. Jay couldn't help but laugh at Robin. With that Jay fell asleep.
