Albus and Minerva walked down Hogsmeade's main street. Albus turned to Minerva and asked,

"My dear, would you please come with me to the Three Broomsticks? I seem to have forgotten my favorite hat." Minerva rolled her eyes and said as they turned back,

"Honestly Albus, what am I to do with you?" Albus grinned mischievously. Minerva turned to him quickly and said, "Don't answer that." Albus's grin widened. Minerva lightly slapped his arm and said, "You are really insufferable." Albus's eyes twinkled merrily in his crazy old man way as he said,

"I do indeed know that my dear. But you love me anyway." Minerva shot him a skeptical eye. Albus promptly burst out laughing. Minerva joined him, and she received more than a few strange looks from her students. When he thought no one was looking, Albus inconspicuously twined his hand around Minerva's. They were already walking so close together no one noticed it but Minerva. She looked at him surprised. He shrugged and said,

"My hand was cold. I thought yours might be warmer." Minerva smiled. Albus frowned and said, "It isn't." Minerva laughed again. Albus moved their hands to his pocket. Minerva grinned and gave Albus's hand a squeeze.

It was all Albus could do not to lean over and steal a kiss on that cold February 14th morning.
