Gwen went home to drop her bag and enjoy that her father was not there to explore the city in her Spider-Woman costume and she saw in front of Travis's house black pickups that were parked and three men in a suit coming into the house by croaking the door. Intrigued and worried Gwen hurriedly pulled out her clothes revealing her Spider-Woman suit.
Meanwhile, Travis stood up, still shocked by what had happened.
"What was that?" He asked.
"That's what I can do." The voice said in his head.
"Who are you?" Travis asked.
"I do not have a name." Replied the voice.
"How did you come?" Travis asked panicked.
"I became involved with you when you lost consciousness." Replied the voice.
"Oh shit." Travis sighed as he heard the door open.
"Your mother does not come back later usually?" The voice asked.
"How do you know that?" Travis asked.
"I searched your memory. You should also erase your history." The voice pointed out.
"I'm fucking you." Travis said before walking up the stairs to see several men in suits aiming at him with guns while advancing towards him.
"Travis Stone, how's your dad?" Asked one of the men.
"Still happily dead." Travis replied.
"Stop being clever, where is the antidote?" Said one of the men.
"What antidote?" Travis asked.
"The one in the secret project room." Replied the man.
"So you're the antidote?" Travis asked in his voice.
"Yes." Simply replied the voice.
"Sorry I do not have the antidote. And what would be my interest in stealing it?" Travis asked.
"Shut up and give it to us now it belongs to the Caid." Ordered the annoying man Travis.
Suddenly he held out his arm and a black substance sprang from it, striking the man in the head with such force that he whirled himself before returning to his hand to his surprise.
" What have you done?" Asked one of the two men.
"I don't know." Travis said raising his hands before the phenomenon started again hitting one of the men in the abdomen and catching the second to draw him close to him.
The dark substance also appeared in his free hand giving him a fist of an excessive size that struck the last conscious man with enough force to make him a concussion.
"Why did you do that?" Travis asked at the voice.
"You mean: why did WE do that?" The voice answered before Travis decided to leave the house to avoid a shootout when Spider-Woman had just arrived from the window wondering how they could be on the ground before hearing van alarm.
She climbed onto the roof to see the scene to see Travis fleeing on a motorcycle and the last man half stuck in the windshield of the van holding his phone calling for reinforcements to hunt Travis.
She started looking for Travis, who remained hidden somewhere in the city without her finding him.
Meanwhile, Travis remained in an alley keeping a low profile so as not to attract the attention of those who were looking for him.
"Well then we will establish basic rules as long as we are not bored. If you want to stay with me you only harm the bad people. OK ?" Travis said to his voice.
"I'll tell you what I think." The voice said before Travis's body was stuck against a wall as if the voice could control his body as he tried to move to get out of the wall. "We just have to do everything we want." The voice said, plating a part of his body that Travis had managed to move. "We have a deal?" She finished.
Travis thinks what it could offer him. He would have the power to charge someone who has destroyed his chances of seeing his father suffer in prison and get revenge. But he could also protect Gwen if she can not manage some enemies or if she is in trouble.
"Yeah, we have a deal." Travis replied.
The voice released his grip on his body and he continued to hide. The hours passed and finally Gwen managed to find him but unfortunately he was also found by the men of Fisk who were preparing to kill him before she intervenes and put them all KO While without her knowing it the voice had tried to kill them again but stopped when she attacked the henchmen.
"Are you okay?" She asked.
Travis was about to answer when sarcastic applause was heard. They both looked in the direction of the entrance to the alley to see Matt Murdock accompanied by three ninjas.
"So, Spider-Woman has saved you again. What are you waiting for to give us the antidote that you stole from Oscorp?" Murdock said.
"Did you steal an antidote?" Spider-Woman asked.
"No. I did not steal anything." Travis replied.
"It's nothing. If you do not want to tell us then my friends will take you on your corpse." Murdock said.
The ninja began to attack Travis, Spider-Woman confronted them except one of them who had managed to catch Travis and send him on the roof of one of the buildings surrounding the alley.
"So are you going to tell us where is the antidote?" The Ninja said.
"It's time to fuck the asshole." Travis says mentally.
"Perfect. And as I am an antidote I think I found myself a name." Said the voice
The ninja prepared to attack Travis, who took him by the throat with the same black substance as the antidote that was beginning to cover his body.
"What are you?" The ninja said trying to breathe as much as possible.
"We are..." Travis began ...
In the alley while Spider-Woman is on the ground with the suit cut in several places and thin blood stains on it while one of the ninjas is holding a katana on his throat.
"Well Spider-Woman is finally at our mercy. And if you took off your mask to see your face before separating your head from your body?" Murdock said as one of the ninjas with the message was about to take off the Spider-Woman mask when suddenly they heard the ninja who was with Travis screaming in both pain and terror as if he was facing a monster that snatched a member.
And after a moment's silence the decapitated body of the ninja fell into the alley with the blood dripping from his neck. And from the roof from which was thrown the body sprang a man completely covered in black with an excessive musculature, white spots to serve as eyes, a mouth full of sharp teeth, a forked tongue, and for a strange reason a spider white on the chest and back the legs of the two spiders joining just below the armpits holding the decapitated head of the ninja in his left hand and shining with a firm hand.
"Who are you?" The ninja asked.
"We are Venom." Replied the man introducing himself.
The two ninjas attacked Venom but he wove canvases in the face blocking their eyesight and breathing, he grabbed them by the throat and squeezed more and more until their necks were crushed. Murdock went to him at once not to die and to inform his boss of the new threat. Venom prepared to pursue him, but Spider-Woman used a canvas to block him.
"Why did you kill them?" Spider-Woman asked.
"Let me do." Travis says mentally.
Venom's body became smaller and slimmer and the mouth disappeared giving a more masked appearance to her face.
"It does not help to stop criminals who are too dangerous. The robbers and pushing the line people who took an uncontrollable formula yes. But those who are perfectly aware that they are using their remarkable abilities to harm the innocent do not deserve to have second chances. Do not worry about the guy on the roof. He is, since my arrival, on the way home." Venom replied.
Venom cut Spider-Woman's web and twisted one of his hands to a wall, before leaving leaving it in plan.
About thirty minutes later in Rikers Island the drug addict who had killed Travis's father sat on what was his bed when suddenly the wall with his window exploded, revealing Venom still with Travis in control.
"It was you who killed John Stone. Why ?" Venom said catching the drug addict not the top of his prisoner's uniform.
"Y-Yes, but I was promised that I would not be too long." Replied the drug addict with fear.
"Who did you promise?" Venom asked beginning to feel his rage mounted.
"Mr. Fisk's lawyer." Replied the Drug addict.
Venom, hearing this, was seized with anger and caught his head against the wall before leaving the prison as soon as possible to return home.
Later he arrived at his place and put on his pajamas before hearing someone knock on the door. He opened it to see Gwen.
"Hi. Can I do something to help you?" Travis asked, making him think he was tired.
"Hi, I wanted to know if it was okay. After we got back from the school trip, I saw people coming into your home and later I saw you go on a bike." Said Gwen finding an excuse to show she's worried.
"To shorten it. I stashed until nightfall when I was found, I ended up on a you with a ninja while Spider-Woman was taking care of two others who accompanied an old acquaintance who was after me . A guy huddled in black with a white spider on his chest helped me and I ended up going back without knowing if Spider-Woman is fine. Besides, I hope he helped her and she's fine." Travis explained.
" Oh I see. Sorry for the inconvenience I hope everything will be fine. See you tomorrow." Gewn said.
"Yeah, see you tomorrow." Travis said, waiting for Gwen to leave the door and go to her room.
"You deserve an Oscar." Venom's voice said in his head.
" Thank you. Now you excuse me but I'm going to bed." Travis said before entering his bed and falling asleep thinking what his alliance with Venom could bring him.
