The bright yellow taxi came to a stop as it pulled into the dark alleyway. Garrett stepped out of the door. He started walking when he remembered he had forgotten to pay the driver. He quickly turned around and walked back to the cab. The driver stiffened as Garrett reached in his pocket. He eased up a little when he saw that all he was doing was pulling out a wallet. Garrett rummaged through the wallet until he found a twenty dollar bill. He handed it to the cab driver and thanked him. The Taxi sped off as fast as it could to get away from this lunatic. He walked down to where the black Cognoscenti sat its keys still in the ignition. He passed a bum lying on the hard cement an empty bottle of whiskey clutched tightly in his hand. He walked over to the car and popped the trunk. As promised there were two guns, a Glock Nine Millimeter, and an Uzi. There was also a bullet proof vest and a new cell phone. He strapped on the vest and pocketed the two guns. He put the phone in his jean pocket and got in the driver seat. He started up the car and waited for a second. Soon his brand new cell phone began to ring; he picked it up and put it to his ear. He recognized the voice as the woman who had called him earlier in the apartment.
"Did you get the car yet?" She asked him.
"I'm sitting in it right now." He replied to the woman.
"Good now Patrovic's sun is at the Homebrew Café, pick him up and drive him to the meeting place in front of the old carnival."
The line went dead and Garrett hung up the phone and dropped it back in his pocket. He swerved around the corner and started tearing ass down the road; he swerved in-between traffic knocked over signs and plowed through fences on his way to the café. He heard the angry honking and yelling of passerby's as he sped passed them. The car screeched to a halt as he slammed on the brakes in front of the café. He scanned through the crowd outside of the café and looked for the guy he was supposed to meet. He saw him sitting on a picnic table in front of the café and snorting up some dust. Garrett honked at the man and honked twice. It took him a second to take notice that the car was honking at him and he quickly trotted over to the passenger side. Garrett rolled down the window before he spoke.
"You uh the guy I'm supposed to meet, what's his name Gary or something." The man said rather jittery while snorting trying to get all the dust up his nose.
"Yeah I'm the guy you're supposed to meet but its Garrett not Gary."
"Oh sorry bro, I'll be back in like two seconds!" The man sprinted off grabbed his canvas bag and sprinted back and got in the car.
"Alright man lets roll! I'm pumped up man I'm ready to do this deal!" The man shouted while snorting another shot of cocaine. "My names Tony by the way good to finally meet you, I was waiting there for like thirty minutes man."
"It's good to meet you to." Garrett replied to the man as he drove down the road.
"Wow the thought of doing my first deal has really got me pent up damn!" The man did another shot of cocaine while he spoke.
"You sure it's the deal and not that shit you keep snorting?"
"Hey man this stuff makes me thinks. You should try some really get you going."
"No way man I don't need that stuff on my mind. Drugs tend to cloud my judgment anyway."
Tony didn't listen to him and snorted his last bit of drugs. Garrett pulled over and stepped out of the car. He walked over where he saw a group of bikers sitting in front of a bowling alley. Garrett walked up to the bikers.
"You guys the Lost Biker Gang?" Garrett asked the lead man.
"Yeah Were the Lost, you Patrovic's man?" The lead biker asked him.
"Yeah now lets get this over with, Tony show them the stuff." Garrett ordered.
Tony rather jittery walked over and opened the canvas bag showing the gang the drugs. The lead biker nodded to himself.
"Alright set the drugs down and we'll get the money." He said while walking back to his bike.
Garrett got a bad feeling in his gut and discretely pulled out the Glock. He pulled Tony in and whispered in his ear.
"Hold on to the drugs and if shit goes bad run in the bowling alley."
Tony nodded in agreement and clutched the bag. He saw the lead biker lean over the side of his bike and pull something out. Garrett ducked behind a dumpster as the biker pulled out an AK47 and started firing in his direction. Garrett heard the bullets tear through the dumpster as all the bikers began firing at him. Tony ran as fast as he could into the bowling alley and took cover behind the counter. Civilians began running around like headless chickens trying to get away as the men exchanged gunfire. Garrett stood up and fired the Glock a few times at the bikers forcing them to take cover. They began blind firing from behind their cover forcing Garrett back down. Garrett waited until he heard the gunfire stop and the sounds of reloading were heard. He leaned his head around the side and picked his targets. He leaned out and the bullets ripped from the pistol nailing one of his enemies in the chest twice. The biker fell to the ground with a thump. Garrett leaned back into cover and reloaded his gun.
"You stupid fuck! I kill pricks like you every day!" He heard one of the bikers scream while standing up and unloading his Uzi on Garrett."
A bullet bounced off his Kevlar vest. Garrett grimaced and jumped out of his cover and rushed the bikers he shot the biker who taunted him six times in the stomach. The man fell to the ground covered in his own blood.
"Not so hardcore with you're guts in the floor huh!?" Garrett yelled as the bikers began to run off.
Garrett ran after the bikers still firing his gun at them as they sped off on their bikes. He stopped shooting as his pistol clicked signaling he was out of ammo. Garrett stuck the pistol in his back pocket. Michael walked up behind him.
"Damn that was crazy. We ought to work together again here take my cell number." Tony said while giving him a small piece of paper.
"Come on you wouldn't mind dropping me back off at the Homebrew Café would yah?"
Tony climbed into the passenger seat. Garrett got in the driver seat.
"Well that didn't exactly go to plan."
"Don't worry man we'll find another way to get the money."
"I hope so or it's my brother who pays."
