They stood there for a moment. "Kakarot, isn't that…?" Vegeta started, and Sakuya raised an eyebrow.

"You knew Master Roshi?" Goku asked eagerly, suddenly interested.

"I may have learned a thing or two from that old man." Meiling nodded. "But I couldn't learn much. He was too distracted, and I couldn't stay there forever."

"Wow. You know, he never really mentioned you." They continued to speak to each other, ignoring Sakuya and Vegeta. "Though, how about we have a go? Show me, what you have learned from Muten Roshi."

"Sounds excellent." Meiling taunted. They both lowered into fighting stances, both unique in their own way. And suddenly they charged at each other.

Sakuya and Vegeta stayed on the ground, observing the two battling from the sidelines. "Those two…" Sakuya sighed. "We'll never get to the mistress at this rate."

"Ugh, Kakarot…" Vegeta sighed.

In the sky, whenever Meiling and Goku clashed, a rainbow burst and a clear burst collided, and a soft boom reached their ears. Suddenly, they had stopped fighting. Meiling and Goku stood in the air, smirking at each other, both with equal confidence in their abilities. "Hey!" Meiling called. "Are you getting tired yet?"

"Not one bit!" Goku called back. When there was no answer, Goku pursed his lips. There was a rainbow aura surrounding her again, and her clothes were moved by an invisible wind. Then she held out a card. It looked like it was a playing card.

Meiling grinned. He would never see this coming, she thought. Rainbow Sign: "Wind Chime of Colorful Rainbow!"

Goku cocked his head. Suddenly, colorful objects darted out towards him. He admitted that it looked pretty, but they were fast. There was an occasional gap, and the objects seem to move in some orbit around Meiling.

He was floating there, observing. Then an object grazed his arm, and it burned. He grimaced. So, that hurt. Goku thought. I should probably dodge them now. What on Earth is this stuff though?

"What?" Vegeta's eyes widened at the new obstacle.

"It's called danmaku." Sakuya answered simply. "You are supposed to dodge it. Why is she using that, though? Is she getting tired?"

"Tch… danmaku. How dumb." Vegeta muttered.

Goku flew through the gaps, and once the orbit changed direction, so did he. Goku frowned. How was he going to get to Meiling at this rate?

If he couldn't get close to her, then he might as well shoot her with Chi from a distance. He lifted an arm, and aimed his palm at Meiling, gathering as much Chi as he could, and then he fired continuously.

This went through the bullets, and right to Meiling, who flinched, and everything went back to normal. Goku grinned. "That was some trick." He said.

"Yeah, it's what people here do." Meiling stated, matter-of-factly.

"Though I can tell it isn't you're expertise. Why don't we just fight?" Goku suggested.

Meiling, in turn, grinned. "All right… No holding back. I'll show you what China is made of."

They charged at each other again with a punch at the head, a dodge, and a swipe at the feet. They exchanged at the speed of light, it seemed. Meiling would charge a red fist, and upper-cutting Goku, causing a red ring to burst and fade out.

"I don't notice anything different about Meiling." Down below, Sakuya was observing what Meiling could have possibly learned.

"Give it time; I'm sure Kakarot will draw it out eventually." Vegeta shrugged.

"How come you call him that?" Sakuya asked, turning to look at him. Vegeta raised an eyebrow.

"What?"

"Kakarot. He introduced himself as Goku."

Vegeta hesitated, grinding his teeth together. "What's it matter to you?" He muttered. He doesn't fully trust her yet, and doesn't know whether he should tell her about where they are from at all. Sakuya sighed, after realizing that he wouldn't tell her an answer.

Back in the air, Meiling and Goku zoomed around like flies, but they still managed to stay above the gate of the Scarlet Devil Mansion, not getting too far from sight.

Goku was about to lay another punch on Meiling's shoulder, but she spun away, and rainbow bullets spewed out. Goku quickly recoiled, and jumped back. Goku breathed in, and Meiling sneered at him.

Goku charged again, but Meiling spun, keeping him away. This happened for several seconds, until Goku was finally able to kick her across the side, and send her flying. Then she stopped herself midflight, grimacing.

That same aura from earlier surrounded her, and that same invisible wind buffeted her clothes and hair. She raised another card. Goku braced himself.

Colorful Sign: "Extreme Color Typhoon"

It was raining rainbow bullets. There were really narrow gaps, in which Goku grazed against, but he made it through. The bullets were denser and more random too. He made his way to Meiling, and threw a ball of Chi at her back.

Meiling buckled over, and the bullets disappeared. They rested for a moment, before Meiling turned and charged at Goku, smacking him far, far away. She caught Goku by surprise, and now, she was gathering Chi in her hands, and fast.

When she extended both arms toward Goku, a blue, Kamehameha wave approached him. Goku's eyes widened, but he put both arms in front of his face.

From the ground, all Sakuya and Vegeta could see was blue light, two specks, and explosion. "Ah, so she did learn something from that old man." Vegeta commented.

Sakuya's mouth dropped a little. Yet she recovered from her shock quickly. So Meiling went to the outside world? When, exactly? Sakuya shook her head to remove her thoughts.

After the smoke disappeared, Meiling panted heavily with her arms still extended, and her clothes a little ripped. Goku lowered his arms, hardly damaged. He let go a breath, and looked to Meiling.

She looked like she was about to collapse, again.

Goku quickly flew to her side, and put her arm around his shoulder. "That was pretty amazing there." He commented. "I could tell you gave it your all." Meiling smiled. "But you had just recovered from another fight. It was kind of stupid to jump right into another one."

Meiling narrowed her eyes at him, and they both lowered down to where Sakuya and Vegeta were. "So can we go now?" Vegeta asked.

Goku shrugged, and looked to Sakuya. "What do we do with Meiling?"

"After a rest she'll be fine, I'll send for Patchouli…" Sakuya said, noting Meiling's condition.

"She's barely conscious. She used a lot of energy on that Kamehameha wave." Goku explained.

"I can still hear you, you know." Meiling muttered. "I'm not… that weak…"

Goku smiled at her, and she blushed. "Well, I'm not saying you were!"
