I sat at the desk in my old apartment, I'm twenty four now. Same age as you were when you died. Then you came back Shepard, you did it. You beat the impossible once again to the far edges of the universe.

I love reading the reports I get from you, the ship called the Normandy. Once again I turn my head to that day with Kaidan and you running around trying to impress me with wild nonsense.

That was before you and I joined the Alliance. Your mum and admiral Anderson loved it whenever I got a report to them from you. Of course I'm on earth not in space.

The Reapers invaded and I got stuck in a hell hole while you could chose to run. History does have a funny way of repeating itself. I grab the essentials I know I am going to need if I want to survive this.

You always came for me, please Shepard. Just this once,

Don't.

His. *what the heck I always thought Shepard's POV for this would be fun*

Issac Lee Shepard.

That's my name.

Aeon Jayde Bishop my best friend and little girl who I fell in love with. I don't even know where she is or even if she's alive.

I hated it that Hackett made us all take this shore leave without Anderson. I was told Kaidan was coming back from Earth to attend the party. He knew the risks when I asked him to find Aeon and see if she was alive. He said I didn't even have to ask. He was her friend to, and no matter how much I DIDN'T want to see it, I realized he cared for her in almost the same way I did.

Nothing so far.

That's all he'd say. She disappeared, the little girl with black as night hair and wild green gorgeous eyes was missing.

I watched as people set up what they were planning for the night. It was a way to forget the war, and after the crazy day we had previously it was much needed. Ash and James were flirting which given our previous relationship caused slight jealousy to go through me. Kasumi was giggling around the place like no tomorrow.

I noticed the door rang.

"Kaidan's here!" I shouted.

Joker smiled for some freaky reason. He looked like it was a message from the gods to stop getting EDI from making him dance.

Kaidan came in smiling and said hello. But he wasn't alone. Someone dressed in a jacket with a hood that was covered in dirt cuts and well worn beyond it's days on behind him was there. They were smaller than me and around the same height as Tali or Kasumi.

"Showed up as soon as I landed on Earth with a spare gun and lots of ammo." He joked.

The hood flipped off in relief as I saw that pretty face I knew so well. "Hi soldierboy" She smiled.

"AEON!" I practically yelled throwing her in a bear hug.

"Can't...feel...lungs!" She gasped.

Kaidan laughed at us. "I'll leave you two to get reacquainted" He teased.

"Thanks Kai. Remind me to buy you a steak next time we meet up" Aeon thanked.

"Come on Aeon. You still have to meet everyone" I say.

She smiled a little and I could still see that little girl I once knew from the slave camp.
