The sound of movement behind her prompted Felicity out of her seat, a comment about hot chocolate and popcorn dying on her lips as she took in Oliver's appearance. He had changed from the suit he'd worn at the club into dark jeans, a button down shirt and his favorite leather jacket; personally it was her favorite too.

"Wow, your sleepovers were a lot more formal than mine." They'd discussed staying up to sort through all the information Felicity had managed to download in the car on the way back from the club.

Oliver couldn't help but smile at the woman standing before him in a panda sweatshirt, pajama pants printed with cats and fuzzy slippers. "Nice pajamas."

"Oh, I don't wear these to bed, I mean I don't really wear anything to bed." Felicity twisted her hands shaking her head. "By that I mean I don't wear anything special to bed." She paused, "and that doesn't sound any better, I'm going to stop now, because this is getting weird."

Oliver just waited, sometimes it was easier to let her talk it through on her own without interfering. "I got a call."

It was Felicity's turn to nod. "Laurel." It was a statement rather than a question.

"No, actually Thea. I need to go." Oliver inclined his head toward the door.

"Of course, Of course you do, she's your sister, I hope everything is okay."

"Thank you, and thank you for tonight, by the way, what program did you give the bartender?" Oliver had been curious but hadn't wanted to distract her while they were in the manager's office.

Felicity waved her hand in dismissal. "It's just something I've been working on for your club, it's not perfect yet, but it will help him save money and I figured he might be nicer to us if I helped him."

"That was smart. Tonight was," Oliver paused looking for the word, "a unique situation. You did well Felicity. I would say impressive, but." Oliver inclined his head.

Felicity flushed. "Right, you don't have go there, but thank you and you're welcome."

"Okay then, good night, and umm, call me if you find anything." Oliver paused for a minute as if he might say something else before turning on his heel and heading for the door.

"Of course, good night." Felicity gave half a wave before sinking into her chair and spinning back around to the computer.

She rested her chin in her hands mumbling mostly to herself and the universe in general. "You're welcome and really thanks, thanks for ruining my dating life for well, ever."

Felicity turned slightly talking to the empty air beside her. "Well this was lovely, I know it's our first date and all, but would you mind hoisting me against the nearest wall so I can see if the sex we might potentially have would be even close to what I sort of, kind of had with my boss? Oh, did I mention he fights crime too? Mostly in the evenings."

Felicity broke off giggling slightly. "Sure, any guy is going to be fine with that." She finished with a sigh and put her head on the desk.

"You forgot to mention he's rich, that would be sure to scare off any guy who might have hung out past the hoisting and crime fighting." Diggle's face came into view as Felicity cocked one eye open, contemplating the cup of coffee he was offering before she sat up and reached for it.

"Of course you heard that." Felicity spun around and curled up in her chair. "I'm starting to think the universe has a rule about me only saying embarrassing things if there's someone around to hear it."

Diggle held his hands up backing up to lean against the table across from her. "I didn't hear anything you don't want me to. Oliver called me after he talked to Thea. He doesn't think you should be here at night alone."

Felicity felt the urge to giggle and stifled it. "It's just as bad as the stuff I've said to his face, so what's the difference?"

He nodded in agreement. "You do seem to have that problem."

Felicity shook her head. "I can not stop myself. I have tried, it's not just Oliver, this has been a problem my whole life."

"It seems like a part of who you are, you really want to change that?"

"Some days. This conversation has taken an odd turn. Do you always deliver coffee with a side of therapy."

Diggle motioned behind him toward the door. "You've met Oliver right?" It's becoming pretty normal these days."

This time Felicity let the giggle in her throat bubble out. It felt good to laugh, so much of their lives lately were lived on high alert.

"So tonight." He began as Felicity used the band on her wrist to tie up her hair. "Typical stuff? Any problems?"

"Pretty normal I guess, I'm not in the field much," Felicity shrugged.

"Completely normal? Nothing out of the ordinary." Diggle leaned forward, something had caught his attention.

"Nope, we didn't even have to fight anyone, or Oliver didn't have to fight anyone." She corrected herself. "We didn't even get threatened. As far as my experiences out there with you guys, this one was kinda boring."

"Uh huh." Diggle leaned back again, gesturing toward her. "You have a hickey on your neck Felicity."

Felicity's eyes went wide, her whole body becoming still as a slow flush crept up her neck toward her cheeks. "I'm pretty sure it's actually a bite mark." Her voice was pitched low and she was doing her best to avoid direct eye contact.

Diggle raised an eyebrow. "That's a new one, I've worked with Oliver longer than you and I've never ended up with a bite mark."

"I also pretty sure you've never had to wear a dress so tight underwear is out of the question,it makes for an awkward moment when you have to straddle your boss and pretend to be having sex to avoid being shot by the bad guys." Felicity threw back.

Diggle opened his mouth to reply, thought better of it and closed it. Instead he shook his head and pointed toward Felicity. "You got me there, you win." He did however make a note in the back of his mind to ask Oliver some very pointed questions next time they decided to indulge in a vodka fueled bonding moment.

Felicity accepted the win, inclining her head. She gazed at the back wall before turning opening up a side drawer and turning back to him tablet in hand. "Here you can help with the initial sorting."

He raised his eyebrows at her outstretched hand, "you're really going to let me play with one of your toys?"

Felicity waived away the question, "it's a spare, I've seen what you two do to technology and thought a few backups couldn't hurt."
