Chapter 3
Disclaimer: I don't own any characters at this time except Rayne. I hope you like this new chapter and would like to say that I am sorry that I am just now getting out a new chapter. I have had a lot going on in my life. I also had hit a major writer's block with this story, but finally found it again. Please read and review.
Rayne has come home. I only wish Caleb had thought to warn us, or should I say me. Shit, what am I going to do? How am I going to face her after all these years? What if she ever forgive me?
I need to talk to one of the guys and maybe just maybe I can fix this. The question is; which of my brothers can I talk to? The logical choice would be Caleb, but that may get a little awkward since Rayne's his little sister after all. Talking to Reid would likely end in a fight since he is still pissed she left to begin with. He blames me and I don't blame him, I blame me too. That leave's Tyler, he has always been the easiest to talk to. Look's like he is going to my best option.
I guess I'll call and see if he will meet me at the bike shop before we all meet up at Nicky's later.
Tyler: Hey man, what's up?
Pouge: Hey Baby Boy, got a question for ya?
Tyler: Okay...
Pouge: Could you meet me at the bike shop. I need to talk to someone and right now you are my best option.
Tyler: Yeah. Gonna be about an hour. We are on our way back from the airport and I have to drop Reid off at the dorms.
Pouge: Thanks man, see ya soon.
Well that's taken care of. Now to head to the shop and wait for Tyler. Who the hell is calling me now? Kate? Shit, how'd she get my number? She probably got it out of Sarah's phone when she wasn't looking. Better call her and let her know. I am so ignoring this call and changing my number again.
Sarah: Hey Pouge, What's up?
Pouge: Hey, so I think Kate got ahold of your phone.
Sarah: Why you say that?
Pouge: She somehow got my new number and called me.
Sarah: Damn. This shit is getting old and fast. I'm gonna ask the provost for a new dorm mate. Sorry about this, I'm going to change my phone lock as well.
Pouge: Chill, it's okay. I just wanted to let you know what she'd done. On the dorm situation, talk to Caleb, I'm sure he could talk to the Provost. He'll probably be able to get you a new dorm pretty quick too.
Sarah: I'll do that. Sorry again, see you later.
Pouge: Later.
That's dealt with, I should head to the shop. As I'm driving the winding roads my thought's began to wander to Rayne and my need to make things up to her. If she'll let me that is, although I don't expect to avoid getting slapped. Maybe Tyler will be able to help me out. Although, perhaps Caleb would be better in the forgiveness department.
Tyler just called, he's 10 minutes away. I hope he isn't mad at me. I hear his car outside, here goes nothing.
"Hey Ty, thanks for meeting me here." I said to him. "No problem dude, what'd you want to talk about? I actually need to talk to you about something too." Tyler replied as he greeted me.
" Well, it's about Rayne. I don't know what to do about everything. I mean she's been gone for so long, I want to fix things but how? I never wanted to her to leave. I never thought she would. I guess what i'm saying is; do you even think that things can be fixed between u? I asked him while looking at the ground.
"I'm asked me for help. Honestly yeah, I think that you can fix things, but it wont be easy. Forgiveness never is. When you left the airport without talking to her it really upset her. She was about to cry and Reid was all for following you just to punch you. Caleb and Rayne talked him out of it. She knows you were scared and she loves you enough to wait for you to come talk to her. You just need to pull your head out of your ass and man up."
I sigh, " man, I never meant for any of this to happen, and she is right. I just don't know how to face her after all this time. I love her too which is why I knew I couldn't talk to Caleb. He'd defiantly punch me, not that I don't deserve it. I'm going to do everything I can to show her how sorry I am and that I love her too. She gonna be at Nicky's?"
"Last I heard she was."
"Thanks for everything man. I'll see you later."
Tyler shrugged, " No problem man, glade I could help. I'm gonna go and get ready, see you tonight."
We then parted ways, Tyler to get ready to go to Nicky's and me to get ready and think of some way to gain Rayne's forgiveness. As I go to head down the road I remember that before I go get ready for Nicky's, I still have to stop and get my number changed again. Oh, well gives me plenty of time to think of ways to earn Rayne's forgiveness.
