Skwirely bawled walking onto the pool deck seeing everybody jumping into the pool along with Tater and Isabella bubbly and giggling jumping into a pool leaving suds in their wake.
"Isa stupid Bella why does she get to have the fun I should be having right now? I mean where does she get off spoiling my good time?" Skwirely asked Isabella and Tater running up to a bar by the pool grabbing sodas and sitting at the first empty table they saw.
"I wish those two would just go away and leave me alone for good I can find another shadow maybe I'll even find my own shadow".
Isabella and Tater giggled seeing their soap bubbles get sucked away by the pool filter and they sipped, ate, and talked as if they were old friends.
"Norm hang on I just want to check on The Order and then we can swim and enjoy this night like it's our last" John said seeing Skwirely look enviously at Isabella and Tater her eyes like burning coals.
"Skye why don't you join Norman and I for a pool party plus drinking and eating fun? I mean if you're my fangirl you're going to need to up your game but that's my opinion here and nobody else's".
"Fine I suppose it could be more fun than moping around staring at the friendly twins over there. I mean could they be any more sickening than they are right now?" Skwirely asked standing up and going to a lawn chair by the pool Norman and John chose.
"Great glad you could make it Skwirely so just get amped and ready to have the best night of your life. After tonight you'll be saying Tater who and I'll also make sure you have everything you need to make this night memorable" Norman said handing Skwirely a drink.
"Norman what would you do if you lost your shadow would you fight for it or would you just let it stay lost? I bet Peter Pan never had these problems when he lost his shadow".
"Skwirely Tater was never your shadow I mean most times you wished she would be but she was a friend and nothing more than that".
Skwirely wiped angry tears from her eyes and stared back at Isabella and Tater having fun giggling together.
"Norman though I hate to admit it and trust me I really do when I say this but I most definitely was Tater Daniels' shadow she was just so easy to copy because she never minded me copying her".
"Well maybe you can find another shadow I mean there has got to be at least a thousand agents in KND to mimic so take your pick and you know go from there".
Skwirely brightened a bit knowing there were training agents in the KND to become her shadow instead of the other way around.
"See there's the smile John's grown fond of and trust me with Tater out of the picture you're the only girl in John's life and it'll stay that way as long as you stop being a Gloomy Gus" Norman said with Skwirely nodding and running up to John clinging to him finding it easier without Tater.
"There's the clingy girl I've grown to love now let's eat, drink, and swim until we tire of that and find something else to do" John said with Skwirely cannonballing into the pool getting Norman and John wet.
"Ha that was the biggest cannonball ever and you two are positively soaked which confirms just how giant that cannonball was" Skwirely said laughing as John and Norman teamed up splashing her back the three friends laughing.
"See now this is fun Tater never wanted to have a pool water fight she was afraid the water would burn her eyes or make her bald or some junk like that".
"I remember a time you were afraid to swim in a pool because you called them nature's bathroom Skwirely Johnson. Yes I'm afraid to get splashed by pool water but so were you when you were younger and dumber" Tater said dressed in a pink bathing suit like Isabella with a pink bow in her hair.
"Digging the new threads Tate so is she you're shadow or are you her's? Because I've got to say one shadow to another it looks like your shadowing her".
"Yea well so what if I am who are you to talk? At least I chose a princess to shadow you chose a seven year old with a big imagination and a ginormous house to shadow".
"Here Tate I got us drinks and it looks like you and Skwirely are talking so that's good because I don't want to be the reason a friendship has sailed" Isabella said giving Tater a coconut to drink out of with Skwirely staring hard at Isabella.
"It's a little late for the friendship not to sail off Isa stupid Bella it sailed when she chose you over me. I mean she knows what playing favorites does to me" Skwirely said stepping out of the pool ready to rumble with Isabella and Tater if that's what it came down to.
"A friendship sailing is pretty clever actually because it has the word ship in the word which is extremely clever so thank you Isabella for being so clever" Tater said as Skwirely mimicked her hating the fact that Tater was complementing Isabella.
"Look Skye if you have a problem with me say it directly and be done with it. If you don't then you sure have a funny way of showing it".
"Actually now that you mention it I was here before Isabella and you treat her like she's been here since birth and I'm the one you just met".
"Yea and you treat me like your personal assistant or servant so we're even. I mean Tater cook me this, Tater make me a drink, Tater pick my clothes, Tater test the pool water to see if it's cold, Tater taste my hot chocolate to see if it's scolding I mean it's degrading".
"Yea well I'm not the only one to blame for our friendship setting sail. I've heard at least I got first place and you didn't each and every time I bring it up so I may be a boss but at least I'm not an attention hog".
"Yes I brag that I got first place in the KND talent show but that's because I did the one thing you said would make me lose and I won. So I brag to prove you wrong which nobody will do for the life of them".
Skwirely balled her hands into fists Tater doing the one thing Skwirely couldn't stand and that was telling her that she was wrong.
"See even now you're ready to hit me because I proved you wrong and FYI there will be a repeat of my pet tricks this year at the KND talent show and I'll be taking first place again".
"See already thinking about this year's talent show which I guarantee you will lose this year thanks to my act which I'll never tell you or Isa stupid Bella about".
"Great see you on the talent show stage where I'll watch you crash and burn because Isabella has a Chihuahua named Pinkie who she says will be glad to learn new tricks" Tater said walking back to her table Isabella following her.
"Yea well good luck finding more animals to impress Numbuh 362 and the other judges because stupid pet tricks may have been good last year but they're expecting more from the first place winner this year!" Skwirely yelled but immediately relaxing seeing John bring a feast by the pool.
"I've known you for so long Skwirely and I still don't know what you like to eat or drink so I just got a bit of everything and if you see anything you like grab it and I'll be sure to get more" John said with Skwirely grabbing sweet and sour chicken, egg rolls, Chinese chicken wings, and pork fried rice.
"Chinese it is but I did remember the Wild Cherry Pepsi so drink up and I'll go get the Chinese feast for you and then Norman and I will decide what we want to eat".
Tater walked back up to Skwirely's table a stout on her face with Isabella right behind her sipping from a coconut.
"What do dumb and dumber want now? Make this quick because I'm trying to enjoy the feast that my boyfriend is getting for me".
"Great this will be quick when I say I'm joining Isabella's entourage she said I could be the official best friend to the princess and that sounds like a sweet deal to me".
"Great take it if you want it you don't need my approval to be the best friend to a princess. I mean it does sound sweet being her lapdog you know all the things you hate go for this, get me that blah, blah, blah except it'll be worse because she's the princess".
"Good then she unlike you will have a license to boss people around because all princess' have servants and junk notice how I said official friend to the princess and not a servant to one".
"Perfect and do you really think in that pea brained brain of yours that she'll stop ordering you around just because you're the official friend? Get real Tater all she's done is make sure she has you in her life forever" Skwirely said with Tater grinning skipping back to her table with Isabella close behind.
"There we are a Chinese buffet just for you so eat up then we can ignore the wait 20 minute before swimming rule and see what happens" John said giving Skwirely a platter of Chinese food and she kissed him something she'd never done before and secretly he wished she would do it again.
"Thanks and I'm turning over a new leaf meaning no more Gloomy Gus and there will be more kisses, hugs, snuggles, and all the girlfriend things that girl's do to make boys love them".
"Hey John I just want to let you know that Skwirely is calling you her boyfriend so as it looks she went from being a fangirl to a full blown girlfriend" Tater said beaming as Skwirely kissed him and he kissed her back.
"Of course she's my girlfriend we've known each other since Pre K Tate and you had to know it would either be her or you I would choose".
"So Tate how does it feel to play second fiddle to your worst enemy now? I mean you should be used to it because when they picked fangirls I was first on John's list and you were second as you always are so get used to it".
Tater heard enough as she lunged at Skwirely hitting her eye and scratching her with John picking her up by the back of her bathing suit Tater still thrashing hoping to hit Skwirely again.
"You just lost my friendship Skwirely Johnson because you know that the only reason you were always first was because you'd beg, plead, and cry until somebody eventually gave in and let you be first crybaby".
"Are you ok Skye I mean it looked like a pretty bad fight from my end. And just so you know I'm glad I chose you to be my girlfriend because Tater is more high maintenance than you ever were" John said with Norman looking over at Kendall as she glanced back blushing when he caught her.
"I'm just going to you know check on Kendall and make sure she's you know good and stuff before I dive into the Chinese buffet so don't wait up" Norman said running up to Kendall who was lying by the pool on a towel studying a book.
"Hey Kendall so I was wondering if maybe you wanted to hang because if so there's always room at our table and if you don't mix business with pleasure then that's fine too because neither do I most of the time".
"Hanging could be fun Norman and you aura is a healthy shade of pink which suggests love and I guess I love you too but we're both too scared to say it" Kendall said picking herself, towel, and book up following Norman to the table a Chinese feast with Skwirely and John laughing.
"Hey guys so what's with all the laughing I mean just an hour ago Skwirely was moaning about Tater's friendship sailing away but here she is now happy as a clam".
"Yea well what can I say Kenny? John knows how to make the best out of a bad situation and this situation isn't any different than any other bad situation we've been through together" Skwirely said catching Tater' jealous stares.
"Looks like we're attracting a peanut gallery Jonny Baby and that peanut gallery has got the green eyed monster really bad. I mean she's not even trying to hide her jealousy because as we all know her eyes are naturally green!"
Tater stormed up to John's table after hearing Skwirely scream this and she stood there tapping her foot angrily with Skwirely casually sipping her Wild Cherry Pepsi.
"You know you're one to talk Skwirely Johnson because not even an hour ago you were jealous of me and Isabella's friendship which will sail to new heights because she's a princess and I'm a coat tail hanger" Tater said anger showing in her voice.
"Yea that sounds nice and all but how many ten year olds can say they have a boyfriend? I bet you that number will drop drastically to one and only one and that would be me".
"Sure you have a Spring Fling now but just how long do you expect John to stick around when you're parading him around this hotel like a peacock with pretty tail feathers.
"At least I have somebody to parade around with that isn't back stabbing, snobby, snooty, or stuck up but ok I guess if you want to win this round I'll give it to you but only because I'm Pathetic drips from your whole body".
"Right and I guess your body is just dripping with I'm so cool right? I mean take a good look in the mirror, wear a little more makeup, apologize to your reflection for making it look like this, turn to your boyfriend and apologize for making him a peacock, then come to me and I'll show you how to keep a man".
"Oh right I forgot I should take the advice of someone with an invisible boyfriend so let us take a look around and see if we can find him shall we? Nope no boyfriend here, no boyfriend there, maybe in your room but I sincerely doubt it, and no boyfriend at your table".
Skwirely made her hands into binoculars searching the pool area for Tater's imaginary boyfriend until a fist almost met her but John stopped it and escorted Tater back to her table much to her complaints.
"Until you can learn not to use violence to solve your problems you'll stay here with your new best friend and Skwirely can strut me all around the hotel pretty tail feathers and all" John said sitting back down with Skwirely feeding her Sweet & Sour Chicken.
"He's right Tater maybe you should use some of that aggressive energy to protect me from the undead things that just might cause me getting to the KND a bumpy road" Isabella said shaking herself off like a dog.
"It's not the fact that she has a boyfriend that gets me angry it's the fact that she takes him everywhere and introduces him as her boyfriend that really irks me" Tater said her voice coarse with anger.
"Sure she introduces him as her boyfriend I mean you'd do the same if you had one just like I would if I had one it's in the girl dating handbook".
"Yea well she doesn't have to brag that she has one and I don't I mean she turned her hands into binoculars and everything".
After Tater said this an explosion was heard and all the resistance characters stormed onto the pool deck looking around for Isabella and her posse.
"Right brother's go find your present selves, Isabella have that jump rope at the ready, the rest of you guard this door with your life, and me I'm going to find this John the fly in our ointment" Resistance Candace said as everyone ran to their posts.
"Judging by her everything but her wardrobe and jump rope I take it that this is future you Isabella? I wish I had a future version of myself maybe she could tell me if I will ever get a boyfriend".
"I can tell Isabella all about her love life which begins with a special someone when she becomes a princess and then continues all through the rest of her life" Resistance Isabella said her jump rope at the ready.
"Yea thanks but no thanks I'd rather let it be a surprise and sorry but I didn't introduce you to Tater my new friend and as you can see is lovesick right now" Isabella said sipping a drink.
"Pleasure's all mine now don't distract me we heard there was another organization known as the KND also coming to this hotel and their not friendly no matter what this fangirl tells you".
"Oh please at least in the KND we don't wear black I mean where's the funeral Gothy? Try some brighter clothes and you just might have a boyfriend sooner than you think" Tater said as Resistance Isabella wrapped her up in her jump rope and showed Tater her ring finger.
"Not only did I have a boyfriend but that boyfriend became my husband so you can suck an egg and I'll make out with my husband".
"Yea you do that and I'll just untie this triple knotted rope thanks to my Brownie and Girl Scouts skills. I so rocked as a scout".
Tater had herself free in no time as clicking and arguing is heard with Fanny and Rachel leading the rest of the KND Sector V to the pool area.
"Not one more word Fanny not even a whimper I mean it. Nigel was this close to proposing to me and you decided to ruin that with your rants of The New Resistance" Rachel said her voice dripping with anger.
"Rachel I know there are times when you have to get giddy and act all girly but tonight is not one of those times" Fanny said marching across the pool area finding the resistance characters guarding Isabella.
"There see we're too late because you ignored my calls, texts, and daily visits and for what a ring on your finger and claims over the playboy of the KND?"
Rachel smiled knowing her negotiating skills surpassed Fanny's which was why she was still supreme leader in the KND.
"Watch me work Fanny you just might learn a thing or two on how to be subtle and not let a fight escalate every time you find a bad situation".
Rachel found Resistance Candace giving orders which to Rachel meant she was a higher up and like Resistance Candace Rachel was a fellow higher up.
"Hi I'm Rachel Mckenzie and I was wondering what you and your team are doing here? I mean don't get me wrong the hotel and pool are big enough for everyone but it's jist that the girl you're crowding around is Princess Isabella of the new and improved KND".
"Yes Blondie we're aware of who we're protecting and your fake agents who like to believe their trouble proof meaning they can do what they like without consequences" Resistance Candace said with Rachel holding her smile.
"I have no idea what you mean Mrs. Candace but with as much as you know about my team I know about you and yours. Looks as if you've been leaving terror in your wake Mrs. Short Fuse" Rachel said beaming.
"A Mr. Nigel Uno is thirteen and in a group for kids, A Mrs. Fanny Fullbright is 14 and expelled from school for fighting and banned from an ice cream parlor for the same. The list goes on and on Mrs. Mckenzie".
"You're right Mrs. Candace it does shoplifting, grand theft auto, breaking and entering, and now kidnapping those are pretty bad charges like jail time charges".
"That wasn't me it was Mrs. Jump Rope over there so if anything she goes to jail and I'm free and clear to take this princess and claim her as the resistance princess".
"Well looks like you got everything covered here so we'll leave you to it and to those fangers which I'm sure you brought with you Mrs. Candace".
Vampires swarmed the pool area and every resistance agent but Candace was tied up by Isabella's jump rope Fanny grinning evilly.
"The dreaded Fullbright ten knotted knot plenty an agent know what my secret weapon feels like no so do your team" Fanny said with John leading Isabella into a jet Skwirely, Tater, Phineas, Ferb, Candace, Rachel, Fanny, Sector V, and The Order following close behind.
"Well it's been a blast but all good things come to an end and your demise is blood sucking vamps. FYI the KND sounds like the better choice for me to be princess to" Isabella said with the jet lifting off.
Resistance Candace had fear all over her face as her sunglasses came off and the screeching vampires licked their lips hungrily at their prey.
