Chapter 2: The Yin & Yangs
A/N: Hey guys, Jack here. I'm here to say thanks alot for supporting me, to tell you big news. I'm going to ask you the viewers that have amazing drawing skills to draw a picture about this fanfic, and the picture that I like the most will be posted as the cover photo for the fanfic.
P.S.: Later on in the fanfic, The pups will turn into anthromorphic versions of themselves. Jack, out.

Location: Paw Patrol Lookout
Time: Morning
It was 7:00 o'clock in the morning when I woke up," ugh, my head...again," I said groaning to myself, I took a chance to look around me and noticed a grayish-lanvender husky pup laying down near me," Oh god what did I do last night?" I asked myself very guiltfully. I carefully got out of bed trying not to wake up the husky that was sleeping peacefully. After I got out of the bed I looked around and saw my bag," ah, there's my bag. heh, thought that I would lose all of my gadgets and enchanted relics." I told myself without realizing that the husky woke up.
"YOU'RE UP!" She yelled, startling me.
"hey! don't do tha...did you just talk or am I just wearing on of my relics again?" I asked confused
"Of course I talk, and what's an enchanted relic?" she asked
"Oh it's a type of bracelet, ring, crown, or necklace that has magical properties like healing, minor defense ward, and stamina increase." I explained cheerfully, but she gave me a blank face.
"oookay?" she said still confused.
"Great! Now time for me to leave and figure out where I am. See ya later Husky." I said picking my bag and reaching the door.
"Wait! You can't leave, Ryder would want to ask you a few questions. Follow me, oh and the name's Everest." Everest exclaimed.
"Oh, okay then. I can wait to figure out everything else, so where is this person named Ryder at anyways?" I asked.
"oh, well umm he's in town with the Paw Patrol on a mission, I'm sure that they'll be back soon." Everest said.
"Uh huh, and how long has it been since they left?" I asked.
"Since 3:00 A.M. ...that's not right, they should be back by now."she said with a hint of worriedness.
"Sounds like they've met one of my enemies, welp, guess its time for me to help them out." I said walking towards my bag.
"wait, are you going out there to help them?" She asked.
"Yes, isn't it obvious? I mean I'm going to put on my adventuring gear first" I commented.
I unzipped my bag and pulled out a blue flannel cotton shirt with the letter 'J' colored blue. Then I took off my creeper jacket and royal blue polo shirt revealing a muscular body, but then noticed that Everest looked away blushing. "Oh come on, you never saw a guy take off his shirt before?" I asked her, but she just swayed her head back and forth. Ignoring her answer, I then buttoned up the rest of my shirt and then pulled out a strange vest. I put the vest on and it automatically adjusted to my body size and emitted a strange glow,"good morning, Jack Storm," a robotic female voice said as if out of nowhere.
"Good morning, Sareena. Initiate vitality scan." I said.
"Initiating vitality scan, please wait." Sareena answered, and then after 10 seconds she states,"Vitality scan complete, you're body is perfectly healthy and ripped." she commented.
"Aww, thank you Sareena, now for my gadget belt, gloves, and shoes." I said rubbing my hands back and forth. I dug around in my bookbag and pulled out a utility belt, gloves with strange devices on both gloves, and a pair of shoes. I put on the belt, gloves, and shoes, then reached into my bag one last time. After rummaging around in my bag, I found what I was looking for. I pulled out a small black box," there it is my soul stone," I said with and expression of relief.
Everest looked at Jack confused,"okay I'm going to regret asking this, but what's a soul stone?" she asked.
Jack puts on the necklace then explains," a soul stone is an amulet that allows me to harvest the souls of the lost and fallen heroes of the past or present." I said.
"okay, but what's with the strange gloves?" Everest asked pointing at the gloves.
"These are my grapple guns and weapon inventory gloves, these gloves allow me to tether and launch me from one place to another. It really is a fun way to travel." I explained
"Do you even have a car?" She asked
"Of course I do, I just don't have a driver's licenses." I said taking a small disc like object out of my utility belt,"Oh speaking about your team, Sareena hack into Ryder's communication device please." I said to sareena
"hacking into communication device of Ryder please stand by...hacking complete transmitting communications" Sareena said
"We have to get the Paw patroller back from these gangsters" Ryder said on the other end of my ear piece.
I smiled and said," Wow that sounds horrible, need anymore help?" I asked
"Who is this?"
"Jack Storm or the person that was knocked out with a coffee mug"
"oh, and you want to help us?"
"yes isn't it obvious?"
"well, great we need all the help we can get."
"Great I'll be there soon, just look for a car that's flying through the sky, it's probably me. Jack out"
"wai-" I turned off my earpiece before he can ask.
When I was about to leave the lookout, Ryder transmitted a message after I turned off my earpiece which said,"Take Everest with you,"
"oh-kay? Everest come with me please" I said giving out a hand gesture to the young husky.
"Let me guess Ryder want me to go with you?"
"Yep"
"*sighs* Let me go get my snowcat" she said as the elevator made it to the main floor.
As we made it outside the lookout and headed toward her vehicle I heard a faint beeping sound ," wait! Get away from your snowcat!" I yelled realizing something. I ran towards everest, picked her up, and ran away from her vehicle. "Hey! Whats the big id-," before Everest could finish her question, her snowcat blew up.
"Time bomb, the most deadliest and most grousome take down in the book, but don't worry I got car we can both take." I said pulling out a small strange black cube.
"That's a c-," before Everest could ask the question, I threw the small cube on the driveway and pressed a button on my wrist-pad. At this moment, the small cube transformed from a small cube to a suit-uped Chevy Camero,"whoah! Where did you get that!?" Everest asked surprised.
"I didn't get it from anywhere I created this type of tech. Speaking of which, this is multi-vehicle." I protested.
"So it can technically transform into multiple vehicles out of one small cube?" Everest asked which ended up giving me a face of awestrucked.
"y-yeah that's...correct look I really want to know how you figured it out this quickly mostly because you remind me of a friend who answered the exact same way, except he would always forget the intelligent things he said in under 10 seconds, but we are on the clock right now so may I kindly ask you to get into the passenger seat, please." I said.
Everest ran towards my car and jumped into the passenger seat, while I just opened the door to the driver's seat and buckled Everest in while I started the engine to my car," oh by the way, I like to go very fast." I said.
"Wait what!" Everest exclaimed before I pound on the gas pedal and started to spin my car around before it started to drive the car fast towards the bridge. As the car sped through, I noticed a part of the road which ran off towards the river," Everest, do you trust me?" I asked her.
"no!" she answered
"meh, good enough for me." I commented and turned towards the cut off road. Everest realized what I did and started to scream for what could've been a drive towards imminent death by drowning, but instead as the car drove off the cut off I pressed a button. After I pressed the button, the car started to transform into a fighter jet with a complete set of miniguns, rockets, and homing-missiles. Then the thrusters on the jet ignited, sending the jet flying off towards where the chase is in progress.
"So what's your plan?" Everest finally asked from behind me.
"well first, I need to figure out who he's dealing with. I don't know if it's either one your enemies or one of my enemies from my home world." I answered.
"wait, you have enemies?" She asked confused.
"Yeah, there is a gang which it's leader hates me, there are some very intelligent scientists who wants to steal any type of advanced technology they see, there's a long silver-haired guy with a very long katana who wants to kill me and everyone who will stand in his way, and there's also the world's most deadliest assassin and I happen to be her main target." I explained.
"Which enemy you think it might be?" Everest asked.
"Well since they stole a high tech vehicle, I suppose it could be those scientists, but Ryder said there was multiple people who were led by one guy, so I think it might be the gang I told you about." I answered.
"What's the name of this gang?" She asked.
"The gang is called the Yin and Yangs, they are the most notorious gang back from my world who are led by an old friend I used to know long ago." I explained.
"But does your friend hate you, Jack?" She asked.
There was a long pause after Everest asked me the question, then I answered,"It's not important right now, we have to get to your friends. Don't you worry though, thanks to my digi-structure weapon projector gloves, I'll be able to take them down no pro-" before I could continue my response, Sareena gave me some bad news.
"Warning. . .the weapon inventory gloves have malfunctioned."Sareena said.
"What?! And you didn't tell me about until now?!" I argued with Sareena.
"Well I'm sorry, Jack. Maybe you should've asked before taking on risky fighters."Sareena says to me with sass.
"I'm starting to regret about giving you those personality features. But gee, thanks for the heads up" I said sarcastically while rolling my eyes.
"You're welcome, and you don't really regret giving these personality features."Sareena said.
After Sareena goes out of transmission, there was a long awkward silence,"so. . .what's your plan now, Jack?" Everest asked breaking the silence.
"Well, guess I gotta wing it with maximum effort." I answered.
The rest of the flight was quiet, but what Everest or the rest of the Paw Patrol didn't know what power Jack possesses, what Jack can do, or what will happen to one of their friends.
A/N: Hey guys Jack here, sorry it took so long to get this chapter on here. I'm still going through High School, and I sadly gotten Writer's block during the making of this chapter. And if you don't remember, I'm still trying my best to remember the dream I had which this fanfic is based off of. So hopefully I'll be able get through Chapter 3, and hopefully finish this fanfic before I actually forget because of all the work I have to do at school. Just stay with me and lets hope that the fanfic will be done somewhere during the summer, Jack out.
