Enforcement
Catching his breath Gohan turned to Vegeta, "They seem to be stronger when they are close to each other, as if they are amplifying each others power, if we could separate even one and destroy it I think I can finish the rest off with one attack."
"yes, but how do you propose we create such an opportunity? they stick together like glue ."
"I got just the thing cover your eyes, SOLAR FLARE..."
The squad of enforcers stumbled about for a few moments shielding their eyes from the piercing light Gohan had emitted, while in the same moment two fierce golden auras erupted around Vegeta and Gohan.
"Dont hold back boy go all the way, these guys are not going to mess about." Vegeta warned.
"Got it." Gohan responded.
With another gold flash they both pushed to ascended super saiyan complete with flashes of blue energy rippling through their warm gold glow, as the effect of solar flare came to an end the Enforcer squad launched instantly towards Gohan and Vegeta but in their newly powered up state they were more than ready and able to fend off the now seemingly average attacks thrown at them and had soon forced their attackers back and forced them to regroup.
"It seems you have deeper wells of power than even we calculated," the Enforcers droned with a slight surprise in their tone, "Although it seems one of you is close to their limit." they trilled coldly.
Sure enough when Gohan turned to Vegeta he could feel uneven fluctuations in his Ki levels and he was drenched in sweat, Gohan knew he had to finish things fast otherwise Vegeta could be seriously injured, and he didnt fancy having to face Bulma if that happened, Gohan motioned to Vegeta who closed the gap between them.
"when I give the signal you need to get clear." Gohan said steely toned
"why?" Vegeta spat resentfully
"Because your Ki is failing and when i unleash my next attack if you are in the way you will be vaporised with them." Gohan stated calmly.
Vegeta conceded nodding his head to Gohan to show he understood, Gohans Aura instantly erupted with renewed vigour as he powered up to his max sending pulse waves through the air as he disrupted the flow of the atmosphere itself, Vegeta had never sensed such raw power, not under any kind of control at any rate it reminded him of the day he witnessed Gohan destroy Cell, this boy was truely full of surprises and had seemingly unlimited capacity for increasing his strength.
Vegeta was brought out of his mini day dream by a fresh assault by the Enforcers, Gohan quickly deflected three while Vegeta sent the last reeling but he could feel his power dropping rapidly and his aura faded he was almost done.
"I could do with a few seconds peace if you could occupy them for me" Gohan shouted over the loud crackles of static now being discharged by his aura.
"Ha you got some nerve kid, you got Kakarots blood in you alright" Vegeta smiled widely he hadnt had this much fun since Goku had died "Alright kid i'll get you your time just dont miss your chance."
Vegeta found some energy reserves and reignited his faded aura just in time for the enforcers to lunge back at Gohan, Vegeta acted instantly and blocked their approach but knowing Vegeta was at his limit they all but ignored him and continued their advance playing right into Vegeta's hands or rather ...
"GALEKGUN !"
Vegeta fired a large blast straight at the enforcers causing them to scatter in different directions, as they did this Vegeta noticed a sizable difference to their power levels, they had dropped through the floor, he acted more on instinct that anything else and intercepted the nearest striking it with his remaining strength square in the back causing it to shatter into several large pieces, Gohan took it all in using his immense maths skills calculated the power difference of the group of three and signalled Vegeta.
"Vegeta now."
Gohan observed the Enforcers regroup and seemed to communicate frantically, this was as good as it was getting, Vegeta passed through his peripheral vision away from the action in his base form, he took a deep breath and made his move, teleporting directly above the enforcers and gathered his power together in his drawn back hands.
"BIG BANG SUPER KAMEHAMEHA!"
Gohan thrust his hands forward producing a massive energy that hurtled towards the ground, the enforcers had only enough time to look up before it made contact with their heads instantly exploding with an ear splitting bang that sent shockwaves through the atmosphere, a large energy shell formed over the area at least 100 meters in diameter which rippled gently for a few moments before collapsing in on itself, exploding again and shooting rubble high into the air leaving a large crater. Vegeta slipped down one of the edges trying to look inside and slid on his back to the very bottom where he lay battered and bruised looking up at the enormous dust cloud starting to descend upon him, from there he could make out a faint golden glow which hung in mid air above the centre of the crater before blasting out of the dust cloud in pursuit of Giltia and his henchmen.
"Ha, give them hell kid, that boy will either be the saviour or destroyer of all of us, such power." with that Vegeta passed into unconsciousness.
what must have been only minutes later Vegeta was coming round to an all too familiar sound.
"VEGETA, VEGETA, CAN YOU HEAR ME, I SWEAR TO GOD"
Vegeta opened his eyes slowly, his eyes focused on a very angry face bent over his glaring, if looks could kill he would definitely be visiting Goku in the afterlife right now, he mustered all his strength and sat up crosslegged in front of the angry woman.
"well im waiting for an explanation mister, why is half the school grounds a wreck and why is there a hundred metre crater in the middle of the playing field?"
Vegeta sighed "unknown alien forces are trying to take the planet, i came to assist the boy, the aliens were more formidable than we first thought and the boy had to bring out the big guns, happy Bulma?"
"not particularly" Bulma had done a total 180 from angry to heartbroken, "where is Gohan now? is he hurt? did they take him? what will I tell Chi-Chi?."
"calm down woman, while they may have done a number on me they barely managed to lay a finger on the boy" he rested a hand on her shoulder, "it was most impressive he seems to be fully in control of his power now, he went after the main group to rescue his friends, now give me one of those blasted beans so I can follow him."
Gohan was speeding through the air adrenalin still pounding through his body, it was easy enough to follow Giltia as neither he or his henchmen knew how to suppress Ki, they had pretty much left him a trail of breadcrumbs to follow. He was flying over mountains now and he could tell from the Ki pattern that they had landed not too far from where he was, Gohan was suddenly aware of a large Ki spike a few hundred metres ahead luckily he recognised it instantly as his old instructor and friend Piccolo, he stopped alongside and together they gazed up at an alien ship nestled between the twin peaks of the largest mountain in the range.
