Act 3: The Sorcerer's Apprentice
Act 3: The Sorcerer's Apprentice
It was the beginning of spring break at Majestic Falls.
Blake, Mara and Xander were down at the lake where all the town's folk goes to when the sun is up high and the temperature is just right to go dipping in the lake.
While Xander is down at the lake himself swimming, Blake was laying on his turquoise beach blanket enjoying the rays of the sun and trying to get a tan.
Mara, not far from Blake, was sitting on the white beach chair under a beach umbrella not wanting the sun to hurt her eyes as she reads one of her favorite books.
Blake turns onto his stomach. "Ah! A perfect day to catch a tan," he purred.
Xander just returns from his swim as he dries himself with his black beach towel and starts laying out his towel next to Blake's.
Xander plops down on the blanket to lie down. "Yeup, no disturbance for once," he added.
Just as Xander finished his statement, a football landed in between the three, which cause them to jump. The group looked over and saw Conner and his friends pointing at the three laughing. Blake stands up with the ball in his hand.
Blake's point of view
I looked up and wondered who threw the ball.
Was it by accident?
Or was it to just to annoy us?
What a mistake I made as I inhaled my breath. I inhaled so fast I began to feel lightheaded.
A few feet away from us stood a shirtless Conner Chance with his dumb jock cronies. Even though, got to admit, he sure does fill in that red trunks he is wearing really nice. For a guy that has a hot body sure has a sour poor excuse of a personality.
I guess what the old saying goes 'hot on the outside and ugly on the inside'. Oh crap, one of his cronies spotted me staring!
Conner's friend hollered like a hyena. "Ha! Look Conner, the poofter is checking out your junk; cover yourselves up boys!" Conner's team mate teased.
I gripped the ball hard with annoyance and look at the ball for a minute and back towards the dumb jock.
The guy still continues his teasing. "Oh look, he's trying to see if he can throw a ball; he probably throws like a girl; just hand us the ball, don't want you to break a nail," the guy joked.
I hold the ball closely to my lips. "Fuga Accipere (take flight)," I chanted in a whisper.
Blake threw the ball and everyone watched the ball soar in the air. The guy wasn't paying attention when the ball made contact hitting the guy square in the face. Everyone around them was laughing, including Blake's friends at the jock's predicament except Conner and the rest of his friends.
Blake dusts off his hands on his lap with pride. "Next time keep your eye on the ball for once you ingrate!" he retorts.
Everything died down a few minutes later everyone went back to their activities with no interruptions. Mara, Blake and Xander's smartphones went off as the three answered at once.
Draco's voice was heard on the other line. "Hey, I know you three are on break for school and taking the day off, but I need you guys to come to the mansion; it's urgent," he announced.
The three packed up their stuff and head off to drive to Draco's Mansion.
Upon their arrival, Draco and Ariana both exited the house the same time as the three parked the car. Draco was holding an envelope that holds an invitation of some sort.
The group retreats inside the mansion's study room. Once inside the room, Draco handed over the invitation to Blake.
Mara and Xander looked confused. "What is this?" Blake asked.
Draco took the envelope to hand the invitation for Blake to read what it says.
Blake reads out loud.
To all young magicians,
We are pleased to inform you that you have been selected to be placed in the Sorcerer's Apprentice Competition at Galavan, the school of magick.
The competition begins in just five days. With this invitation is the map of the school; once upon your arrival, you will meet at the Hall. Once you arrive, the sorcerer himself, Asha Ravenoff, will decide which of the ten young magicians who will be selected to participate in the competition. Those that were not selected will not participate but encouraged to try again next year.
Please pack accordingly prior to the training and prepping of the competition.
Sincerely,
Nerine Tallulah
Blake looked at both the map and the letter. "Ariana and myself both agreed that this competition could either be a trap to lure in all magick beings or an energy source that could lead to Marianna. We need someone that can go in undercover. We thought this through and think that Blake, we would like you to go," Draco explained.
Blake was astonished; he never knew there was a school for magicians. "I mean its 50/50 chance that I will be chosen to participate in the competition," he stated.
Ariana stood up from her seat. "When I arrive this house, I felt a great power; something I have never felt before," she explain.
Xander, Mara and Blake gasped. "Blake, were your parents any way related to any magick? Does your father or mother know any sorcery or witchcraft?" Ariana asked.
Blake blinked for a minute trying to remember. "Not that I can recall. My parents are clueless in the magick department," he replied.
Ariana observes Blake. "It's uncanny, I have never met a hybrid before," she admitted.
Blake eyes went wide with shocked and surprise. "What is a hybrid?" Xander asked.
Draco grabbed a book off the shelf and hand it to the three. "Hybrids are extremely rare. What Ariana is saying, Blake has both bloodlines of sorcery and witchcraft. So someone or two members of his family knows sorcery and witchcraft. With both bloodlines, he is able to wield both sorcery and witchcraft magick," he explains.
The three teenagers gasped. "Hence why he is the Champion of Magick," Mara said.
Blake's point of view
Wow, me a hybrid?
To be frank, I never knew my family history. I don't even remember my parents even talk about our family history. I do however remember my father saying that the Masterson's has been around in Majestic Falls for generations.
No telling though who can be the one or two of my family is an heir to a bloodline of witches and sorcery.
After dropping off Xander and Mara, I came straight home and start packing for the competition. While I have time to pack, I thought about looking at the family photo album. In the studies, I found a hunter green book that is perfectly bounded in black leather straps and the feel of the cover is velvet.
For a book that has been passed down to many generations it is in mint condition; this book has been passed down to many generations of the Mastersons.
I remember my father, mother and I were going through the book. My father pointed out all the men and women from past generations. I've notice there is one photo that I haven't seen yet. A photo came out of the book and picked up the photo off the ground.
In the photo, it was a picture of two couples; a man in his early to mid-twenties, tall, dark and handsome, and the way he was dressed was very sharp with a pendant around his neck.
Next to the tall man was a woman who looks graceful and statuesque. She had the same color hair like Blake's, about the same age as the man. She appears to look to have a healthy slim build and a porcelain skin.
The woman's appearance matched the gentleman in the photo. It appears that the couple likes to match their outfits, since both of their garments matches in the photo.
I was too engrossed into the photo that I didn't notice a presence behind me when I felt a hand on my shoulder.
I jumped at the touch. "Yipe!" I yelped.
Blake turns around and saw his father was the one behind him. Leonard walked around and joined his son on the couch.
Leonard sat down next to Blake. "Sorry son, I didn't know you were home so early. What you got there?" he asked.
Blake handed the photo to his father. "Dad, you never mention who are these two yet. This photo just fell out of the book," he said.
Leonard observes the picture for a bit. "To be honest son, I have never seen this photo before. Hmn, maybe your mother might know," he stated.
Just then Blake's mother came in the room. "I might know what?" his mother asked.
Blake's father hands over the photo to his mother. Veronica, Blake's mother, looked at the photo and knew immediately who the couple was.
Veronica gasps excitedly. "Oh honey, I know who they are!" she exclaimed.
Veronica sat on the other side of Blake. "That is your great grandmother, Alexandra Khols and the man next to her is Mortimer Khols; your great grandfather. My family always kept a tight lip when it comes to these two; don't know why. I use to remember my grandmother would always talk about him. She said he was a mystery man but also a romantic. I love hearing stories about her adventures traveling around the world with him. It was like magic. That is how I met your father. I wished one day that I can find a man like my grandfather; and then your father came," she explains.
Blake could see the love between the two. "Ugh, I think I'm going to be sick," he joked.
Blake then explains to his parents why he came home early. He told him that he has been picked to become a camp counselor or a volunteer at a school event during spring break and will be gone for a week; even though he knows the real truth where he's going.
Blake's thoughts remain to the couple while he continued packing for the competition.
Like magic?
They travel around the world?
It is possible they must have lived financially comfortable, but his mother mentioning her family doesn't talk about the Khols that much does sound like a mystery.
Bags packed, received directions to the school from Draco and on the road later, Blake was on his way to Galavan, the School of Magick.
As Blake drove to his designation, at Marianna's hidden lair, Marianna herself too have heard about the Sorcerer's Apprenticeship Competition.
Marianna stood in front of her mirror. "Mirror realm, send me a creature; spiritus, qui vocat vos
(Spirit I summon you)!" She chanted.
The mirror began to ripple as 3 female figures stepping out of the mirror.
All three female figures were black as knight, with faces white as ghost with lips red as blood. On their figures, they wore red armor. Red head guard, breast plate, shoulder guard, arm guard and knee guard gauntlet heeled boots. The three stood in front of Marianna.
The short one bowed. "I am Leilah," the short one announced.
Next was a tall slim figure bows and kneels on the ground. "I am Tzila," the tall one said.
Finally, the third figure was the leader of the group who was graceful and looks deadlier than the two.
The leader bowed. "I am Shyama," the leader replies.
The leader snaps her fingers as a fourth female figure appeared.
The fourth member's appearance is different than the three. Instead of black and red, her appearance is silver with white armor and a turquoise gemstone in the middle of her breast plate.
Marianna granted the three ladies to stand up. "Ladies, a new group of young magicians is coming to Galavan, school of magick for the Sorcerer's Apprenticeship competition. Go and do what you do best," she reported.
The three witches nod their heads. "Yes mistress," they replied in unison.
Blake finally made it to the school in time watching all the magicians around him.
He notices all the magicians are around his age, some were younger. He took our his bag from his trunk and start heading towards the school as he hits the lock button on his car key as the car made a beep noise.
He felt right at home and was amaze how all boys and girls his age showcasing their abilities out in the open. As a person with magick himself he knows not to show magick among non magick users.
Blake walks up to a group of kids around his age. "Excuse me, do you guys know where the hall is located?" he asked.
The group looked at him odd. "Look what we have here folks; we have a newbie in our midst. Already entering the competition eh?" said a tall boy.
A girl besides the boy hits him on his upper right shoulder. "Be nice," the girl warned.
Blake's point of view
I observe the boy that replied to me.
He was a major cutie!
Slight taller than my own height, have a medium built. The boy kept his chocolate brown hair long on the top, but is combed back with the side of his head short; like a fade style. He dresses sharp, but casual.
The boy came up to me and extends his right hand out. "Welcome to Galavan, the School of Magick; the name is Maverick," the boy said.
I shook his strong but soft hand. "I am Blake Masterson. Am I that obvious?" I asked.
Maverick walked over and put his left arm around my neck; damn I am blushing. "You definitely have the look as a newbie. You have the 'I'm lost and overwhelmed' look," he admitted jokingly.
Maverick and his friends walked around with Blake showing him around the school. After the tour was finished, the group walked to the Hall.
Blake's eyes went wide. "Holy smokes, so this is the Hall. This place is amazing!" he said astonished.
The group walked in the Hall to their seats at one of the long burgundy tables.
There were about one hundred or even more kids in the Hall. The ceiling high up about thirteen stories high and in front of the Hall were 6 thrones.
Blake, Maverick and Maverick's friends were getting along really well one another when the big brown double doors open as four girls enter the Hall.
Maverick and everybody else in the Hall looked at the girls' direction. "Uh, oh," he said.
Blake turns to what everyone was looking at as the four girls walked to their seats. "Who're they?" he asked.
Maeva, a girl with blonde pigtails lean in the group. "They're the sisters of East End. Their family is very well known; have been around in generations. The tall slim girl is Eleanor she loves to create juicy gossips. Believe me; you don't want to be a gossip; especially if someone like Eleanor starts gossiping about you. The short one is Nairobi. She likes to manipulate and like to cause mischief. The beautiful one, is their leader, well we believe she is. Everyone calls her 'the Princess'. Who knows what happen to other kids in the past, but let's just say only Sheila knows what happened to those kids. She may be nice to you, but you don't want to turn your back on her," she explains.
Blake notices the fourth girl. "What about her? She seems less threatening," Blake wondered.
Maverick scoot up so close to Blake to his ears as if to kiss Blake's cheek.
Blake can feel his cheeks blushed. "Not much to say about Amelia. I mean yeah she is the quiet one of the group. Although you should never trust the quiet ones because usually the quiet ones are the deadliest," Maverick whispers.
The whole table suddenly looked elsewhere when the four sisters looked at their direction. The only one that kept looking at the four was Blake.
Just then a few floating trumpets appears as the whole room stopped mingling about as the doors at the front opens.
A group of mentors came out with applauses from the hundred plus young magicians; one of the mentors was Sorcerer Asha Ravenoff.
The man was tall and stands with grace. His garment was very elegant in white with long sleeves and a silver sash around his waist.
Asha the Sorcerer raised his hand. "Welcome to another year to the Sorcerer's Apprentice Competition! Some of you know who I am; to those that don't, I am Asha Ravenoff. This competition consists of courage, tranquility, strength, wisdom and passion. How the competition works, right in front of you is not just any crystal ball. This crystal ball will select to those individual that have the skills to enter the competition. This crystal ball will help me make my decision to choose the 10 special individuals. There are five stages and those 10 must complete all the stages. You will start off at a designed element that the crystal ball will assigned you. Then, you must complete the other remaining elements; the elements are fire, water, earth, air and Spirit. The top 5 out the ten that passed each stage shall proceed to the final test. Starting tomorrow the ten that will be selected will start their training. Now each table will come up one at a time. Each of you will stand in front of the crystal ball and the ball will show you what element you will start off. Mentors! Stand up as I call out your name and element," he explained.
Asha points out a female mentor to the far left wearing a red Chinese dress with long sleeves. "Anala Adana, fire!" he introduced.
Anala stood up from her seat to bow to the potential students and sat down. "Nerine Tallulah, Water!" Asha announced.
An Asian woman wearing blue stands up and bows to the students. "Ajalaa Ermete, earth!" Asha announced.
A strong and broad looking man in nature and earthy tone outfit stood up and followed his fellow members.
Asha turns to his right to announce the other mentors starting the far left. "Emmanuelle Tuulikki, Air!" he announced.
Emmanuelle was very gracefully dressed in light color tone outfit stood up and bows elegantly.
The fifth and last mentor remained standing next to Asha. "And finally, one of my finest pupil, Titus Avalloc, and he is the element of Spirit!" Asha said proudly.
The entire Hall applauded at the mentors and quiets down. "And now, we shall begin," Asha said.
Maverick turns to talk to Blake. "So now we wait for our turn," he said.
Asha pointed to the first few rows of tables to the far right to begin.
Blake watched and observes as each kid from each tables being called up to the front to the crystal ball. Each kid goes up to the crystal ball, Blake can easily tell that the kids weren't select with the look of sadness were upon their faces.
Maverick was poking at Blake's side. "Look, the sisters are up," he pointed out.
It was the sister's table's turn to go up to the crystal ball.
Eleanor received the element earth, Nairobi received the element water, Amelia received the element air and Sheila received the element fire.
Blake and the group that he is sitting with looked at one another knowing now that four spots were filled and only six spots left.
After a few more minutes and each passing tables later, it was finally Blake's table's turn to go up.
Maverick was the first one to go up from the table as he went up to the crystal ball like everyone else did and touched the ball with his right hand open palm down.
The crystal ball started reacted when a vision of flames were seen in the crystal ball. Asha pointed out that Maverick received the element of fire.
Blake was watching the rest of the group receiving their elements; two girls received the elements water and air as two guys receive the elements earth and fire.
Blake's point of view
Oh lord, this is nerve wracking!
After watching the group receiving their elements, it is myself and one of Maverick's male friends turn to find out if one of us is selected.
We both stood up from our seats and walked to the front. The guy in front of me went first but was disappointed when he wasn't selected.
I gulped as it is now my turn to go up to see if I made it or not and it is my mission to enter the competition to protect these fellow magicians.
I followed suit like the young magicians before me as I walked up to the crystal ball. I put my right hand on the crystal ball palm down.
As I closed my eyes, I can feel sudden warmth flowing through my body. It is something that I have never experienced before. I couldn't concentrate any longer as I can hear sudden whispers. I open my eyes slanted taking a peek of what is going on. I can see the front row's faces. I can see a mixture of wonder and surprise.
Then the entire whole began to fill with gossip and whisper.
I mean this is just great, at a new school and a new student I already becoming a gossip amongst these magicians. I looked down and notice the crystal ball was acting wildly.
I took my hand off the crystal ball. "Whoa, what just happen?" I asked.
It was almost like the crystal ball was having some sort of malfunction or whatever it's trying to decide, it is not 100% certain.
I can hear the mentors whisper behind me; this is not good. I just hope that my cover isn't blown.
Blake was beginning to worry of the outcome of whatever the crystal ball is trying to decide. Asha was circling around Blake as if observing the young magician.
Blake watches the sorcerer in front of him hold out his arm as to try to quiet down the rest of the young magicians in the Hall.
The Hall quieted down. "It has seems that the crystal ball isn't sure what element you are. This certain event hasn't happen since forty years ago," Asha explained.
Blake was confused. "W-what do you mean sir?" he asked.
Asha put his left on his Blake's shoulder. "The results came inconclusive," the sorcerer stated.
Blake stepped back a bit. "Inconclusive, what does that mean? I mean, it's impossible," he countered.
Asha looked both at the boy and the crystal ball. "No. Not impossible, just extremely rare. Like I said forty years ago, there were two students during the time that show the exact same results as yours did," the sorcerer explained.
The sorcery walked up and faces the rest of the young magicians. "It appears today that we are witnessing the rarest event to ever happen at the walls of Galavan after forty years. You all have witness that this young man is capable to control all five elements; he is Aether," Asha announced.
All the young magicians in Hall all gasp. "Starting tomorrow Titus and I will be teaching this young man for the Competition," Asha announced.
It was later in the evening when everyone went to their dormitories, Blake made sure nobody was around when he opened a book.
Inside the book, Xander, Mara, Draco and Ariana appeared. "Hey guys, sorry I kept too long, there were 100s, maybe more magicians that tried out today, and only 10 were picked," Blake explained.
At the mansion, the group can see Blake from the crystal ball on the desk. "When does the competition start? Was there any suspicious activity going on?" Draco asked.
Xander was too excited for his friend. "Man this is so wicked, this is like that movie about that boy wizard!" he exclaimed.
Mara elbowed Xander's right side telling him to quiet with annoyance. "I take it that you were selected?" she asked.
Blake had to think for a moment. "None that I can recall, only there are these four girls that I found out always wins for three years, if anything, this year might be the fourth year," he replied.
Ariana sense something what's troubling the young boy. "Is everything all right?" she asked.
Blake still kept a look out for his fellow students. "Everyone that was selected have their elements. When I received mine, the sorcerer himself told me that I am the element Aether, I have never heard of that element before?" he wondered.
Ariana was shocked at the revelation. "Aether is the element that controls not only the elements of nature but everything. Call it the pure element, the cosmos, the universal element. This element is a powerful and unique element that flows through the universe. It only makes sense since you're a hybrid witch and sorcerer," she explained.
Blake was bewildered. "Wow, it's overwhelming I must tell you that. I mean not every day you are told that you are capable of honing in on more than 1 element; you can master all 10 if I can discover these unlocked abilities," he admitted.
Xander and Mara were shocked as well. "Well hang in there buddy, I guess we will be there during the tournament, best of luck friend," Xander said encouraging his friend.
It was during the night when everyone was asleep when Blake woke up from a feeling of someone was in the room.
He opened his eyes and saw nothing, but decided to further investigate. Once he reached to the lobby floor in his dormitory, he sees a wisp.
Blake wonders where the wisp was leading him to when he met a dead end when he saw the wisp went through the wall.
Before Blake can turn around to return to his room, the wisp came back circling around him.
Blake felt the wall and place both hands on the wall palms down.
He can feel a similar warm feeling whenever there was magic before as he walks through the wall. Blake was then transported to a room that no one has yet discovered.
The room was immediately lit automatically when torches were lit all around the room.
Blake began to observe the room, searching for clues when he sees a photograph. His eyes went wide when he sees the same couple that his mother has kept.
They were his great grandparents. "So Ariana was right. I was a descendant of magick. Did that mean my great grandmother was a witch and my great grandfather a sorcerer? Or Vice Versa?" Blake asked to himself.
Suddenly he hears voices coming from the wall. I see four figures searching for something.
He can hear the group talk. "Where did he go?" one of the figure asked.
He can almost hear a feminine voice in the group. "I just saw him here, he didn't just disappear into thin air," said another female voice.
Just then another female voice was heard but was more authoritative. "Come, we must start prepping our plan and start what we came for," the leader said.
A few minutes more, the voices were gone as Blake walked back out of the hall.
Blake felt a presence behind. "What do you want?" he asked.
Blake withdrew a weapon and notice Amelia was the one behind him. "Amelia?" he asked.
Blake let go of the girl. "I don't mean to surprise you but I knew for some reason I can count on you," Amelia said.
Blake withdrew his weapon. "Count on me? For what?" he asked.
Amelia looked behind her. "This place is in danger. You see, the girls you see me around with, they are not my sister; I was held captive," she explained.
Blake blinked for a minute. "Captive? Are you in sort of trouble? I mean can't you like tell Asha and the mentors?" he asked.
Amelia shook her head. "No one must know, but I am the last of my kind. They have been using my powers for their liking. If they keep using my powers, I will die," she explained.
Blake waved his hand in the air. "Revelabit (Reveal)," he chanted.
Blake waves his hand in the air, the chant allowed him to reveal or unmasked an individual disguise and what he saw was a beautiful sight. There he sees a pure white winged unicorn. He has never seen anything so beautiful.
What the girl was saying was true. "What do you mean you're the last unicorn? What happen to them?" Blake asked.
Amelia shivered with fear. "Shyama and her sisters has a formation spell that fuse them together into a giant red bull like machine and destroyed not just my home, but my family," she explained.
The two both hear footsteps. "I have to go, the sisters might be coming back," Blake warned.
The footsteps were getting closer. "Astra," Amelia said.
Blake looked back at the disguised unicorn. "What?" he asked.
Amelia walked up to Blake. "My name is Astra. I sense pure and kind in you and I just knew somehow that I trust you. You are the key to help me escape the sisters, will you help me?" she stated.
Blake can hear footsteps are getting louder. "Listen, you must not tell anyone. I am not like all the magicians here. Ariana and Draco are I guess you can say my mentors or guides. They sent me here because they feared that a sorceress is planning to find a way to come here and snatch all the magicians' powers here, including the sorcerer. Thanks to you, you have given a little light to whatever is happening here," he explained.
Before Blake walks away Amelia heard that name before. "Ariana Stormcrow?" she asked.
Blake turned back. "How'd you know about her?" he wonders
Amelia smiles and knew right then that she knows to trust the young man. Immediately she senses a great magick inside him that is waiting to be awakened.
Blake watch Amelia walks away and immediately teleport himself back to his dormitory.
After what Blake has found about the sister's plan from Amelia, it was time to train for the competition.
Blake landed on his back exhausted from avoiding Asha's every move. "Come on get up, your attacker won't let you breathe a second; try it again," Titus advised.
Blake looked at the man astonished and gets up off the ground. "Do we really have to fight like this?" he asked.
Asha looked at the young man. "In the competition, you already know that you must finish 5 stages. The other mentors won't just let you continue on to the next stage. You'll have to challenge them using the five principles. Courage, tranquility, strength, wisdom and most of all, passion," he explained.
After the training, Blake couldn't stop thinking about the five principles. "I see goodness inside you child. You have potential. You know, you remind me of someone. He had the most tremendous potential to become my Apprentice. He was about close to your age. He was the brightest of all the magicians in this school," Asha explains.
Blake knew who the sorcerer was talking about. "You mean about Mortimer Khols?" he asked.
Asha looked astonished by the name. "How do you know that name?" Titus wonders.
Blake smiled at his mentors. "When I was packing my things for the competition, I was looking at my family photo album again when I saw a picture of my great grandfather and great grandmother," he explained.
Asha smiled kindly as he motioned to Titus to head out. "Ah yes, Alexandra. Back then it was different then it is today. Long ago there was a huge break out amongst Sorcery and Witchcraft. It turned out a brutal war. Mortimer was the best sorcerer there was and Alexandra, a splendid witch. You don't come across from a natural witch. Why she was almost as great as the Grand High Witch herself. The Grand High Witch didn't approve of Alexandra's involvement with Mortimer, all because he is a sorcerer. But after forty years, no descendants were ever set foot from the school again. Well until today," he explains.
Blake was astonished at the story about his great grandparents. "Thank you sir, I feel like now I am connected with my family now. Since I just turned eighteen, I had been wondering how I even have these powers. I mean I never touched a book about magick or made my first potion," he admitted.
Asha pats Blake at the back. "The bloodline of a witch and a sorcerer is within you, you're using natural abilities that were passed down amongst generations," the sorcerer answered.
Blake stood behind looking at the Sorcerer. "How'd you know?" he wondered.
Asha just looks at him. "Not every day a young magician yourself have the ability to control the universe," he replies.
Day after day after their brief chat, Blake has been training with the sorcerer and Titus until the day of the competition. It was night time before the day of the competition.
Blake hoped Amelia could come out to meet again. "The plan is set," Amelia said.
Blake turned and saw Amelia just walked around the corner. "Don't worry, my friends will be here today just in case if the situation becomes hostile," he reassured.
Amelia nodded her when shadow figures dancing amongst the dark walls. Blake could sense their presence when Maverick and his friends found Blake and Amelia.
Maverick looked puzzled. "What is this? Having a night stroll in the castle?" he teased.
Blake then saw a shadow figure materializes just in time for its attack to be blocked by Blake as he vanquishes it quickly.
Blake turns to the two. "You guys go, alert the mentors that the school is being invaded by an evil force. Go now!" he ordered.
Just as the two left, Rogue Beasts comes out of the shadows revealing themselves as Blake quickly changes into his rogue beast hunter gear.
Blake's point of view
Usually when Xander, Mara and I are not hunting rogue beasts, one of our trainings courtesy of Draco; we do Parkour.
Parkour consists of one point to another in a complex environment, without assistive equipment and in the fastest and most efficient way possible.
Parkour includes running, climbing, swinging, vaulting, jumping, rolling, quadruple, and other movements as deemed most suitable for the situation. Parkour's development from military training gives it some aspects of a non-combative martial art.
However, Draco usually likes to add Parkour to our hand-to-combat it adds an element of surprise and is makes us move faster.
Going ahead of myself, need to focus on getting rid of these rogue beasts.
These rogue beasts just happens to appear the night before the Competition. Thanks for Amelia's ability to play the double agent, but it seems the sisters were watching her closely.
It was a tight space but I was able to move around as I walked on the wall to the open area to get out of the corner and kick one rogue beast at the chest.
Then I headlocked one rogue beast and began punching it at the stomach when two more was coming at me. I lift myself up and kick myself off the two rogue beasts as I flip around as the rogue beast was face up. I twist my body as I was facing up and the rogue beast facing down, I slam the rogue beast to the ground.
I wanted to finish them off, so I rose both of my arms; my left and right pointy and middle finger pointed up.
I was making a rotation move with my two hands when water starts appearing around my hands. I first started the left hand and then my right hand as the water shot out from my fingertips hitting the rogue beasts.
Both the rogue beasts and his hunter outfit disappear just in time when Maverick returns with the mentors minus Amelia. I wouldn't want her cover to be blown from the sisters.
Asha and the mentors looked at Blake questionably as they observe the area. "What happened is everything okay?" Asha asked.
Blake nodded and looked down at the shadow imprint. "Yes I was on my way to my dormitory when I bumped into Amelia and then these things pop up just when Maverick came around," he explained.
Blake hoped his story was passable. "I've never seen these things before," Nerine stated.
Ajalaa also kneeled touching the spot. "What sort of magic is this?" he asked.
Titus thought for a second. "These things are not base on magic, they came from another realm," he explained.
Anala grew concern. "What about the competition, should we postpone?" she asked.
Everyone was thinking for a moment. "It is too late, the crystal ball has made a decision and we have no choice but to go on with the tournament," Asha said.
Just then Draco and Ariana came up. "I may be able to help. I'm sorry to interrupt, but I overheard this young man telling you guys what happen, but allow me to explain. My name is Draco and this is High Priestess Ariana Stormcrow. That you see now is a remnant of a rogue beast," Draco stated.
Emmanuelle stood right by her husband Titus. "What are rogue beasts?" she asked.
Titus looked at Draco. "But this school is protected from dark magic, how are these rogue beast able to penetrate the shield?" he asked.
Draco looked at Blake. "Rogue beasts are not magical creatures. They normally manifest in physical form when for example this young man's nightmare becomes too frightening that his fear grows. The more fear he becomes, the more the rogue beasts feeds on his fears; thus the rogue beasts' manifests. These are not the wild rogue beast that my team hunts. These are tamed rogue beasts. Someone in this school has a connection from the outside of the shield, they're working for someone my team is trying their best to protect from" he explains.
Maverick gasped. "That is a huge accusation, to think someone in this school is capable of taming wild beasts such as these," Ajalaa stated.
Ariana nodded. "We wish of no ill towards anyone. We are concern too for the young magicians and those that are entering the competition. But as Draco said. Our team is here and we'll keep on a look out," she promised.
Once everyone left, it was just Draco, Ariana and Blake. "Are you all right?" Draco asked.
Blake nodded. "I'm okay, Guys we need to help Amelia," he pleaded.
Draco and Ariana looked at another confused. "Look, Amelia is nothing but a captive by the sisters. In fact they are using her," Blake said.
Ariana looked at Blake concern. "What's special about this Amelia?" she asked.
Blake looked Ariana. "I believe you know her Ariana. Her real name is not Amelia, it is Astra," he replied.
Ariana gasp and grown concern. "By the creator, I haven't heard or seen Astra in a long time. I helped Astra escaped, but how did the sisters find her out?" she asked.
Blake was about to respond when Amelia walked up. "There was a town under attacked and the sisters were the cause of the attack and so I tried fighting them. I didn't reveal who I really am but I tried my hardest to kept the town safe and doing so I agree to be their prisoner in order to save the town," Amelia explains.
Ariana turned around and gave Amelia a hug. "Oh my goodness, I thought something bad happen to you so long ago," Ariana said.
Amelia starts to tear up. "There is no time, but the sisters are here and is preparing for the competition," she warns.
Draco looked at Blake. "They have to cancel the competition, they must," he insisted.
Blake nodded his head no. "It's too late, I guess once the crystal ball selects us, we are bound until the competition is over," he stated.
Ariana covered her mouth with her hands feeling helpless. "Are you two able to pair up together in the competition?" she asked.
Amelia nodded her head no. "This competition is to challenge oneself. There are five stages we have to complete," Blake explains.
Draco sighs as he pinches the bridge of his nose. "What we can do now is to keep an eye out as a spectator in the stands. Xander and Mara is on standby and so will Ariana and myself," he suggested.
The group broke off to get ready for the competition the next morning. Amelia returns to her dormitory when the sisters were waiting for her at the lobby.
Sheila snaps her fingers to reveal light. "It's kind of late for someone who goes on a stroll during late at night, what on earth were you doing?" she asked curiously.
Eleanor and Nairobi both stood on each side of their leader. "You may hold me captive and you may use all of my powers, but I will eventually find a way to help defeat you fiend!" Amelia threatened.
Sheila snaps her fingers signaling for Eleanor and Nairobi to attack as the two revealed their natural selves getting ready to fight.
Amelia also revealed her natural self as she prepares to fight. "You're so pathetic, might as well kneel now and surrender," Leilah stated.
The two circles around Astra as she watches the two carefully. "Just cut the drama and let us kill you now," Tzila added.
Just then Leilah and Tzila both leaped towards Astra as they attack. Astra was holding on her own as she blocks, parries and counterattack every moves. Astra jumped in the air and as she remains up in the air, she kicked Tzila in the chest and then Leilah.
Tzila grabbed her from behind, but Astra countered as she raised her left leg up high kicking Tzila in the face stunning her as she backs away from the stunned villain.
Leilah was ready to attack Astra as she tries to attack her with her weapon. Astra maneuvered herself as she spins and spins avoiding Leilah's attacks.
Astra have enough space to attack the two. "Air impetus fluctus! (Air assault waves)" she chanted out loud.
A sudden wave motion blasts out of Astra's hands as she launches a massive wave of air towards Tzila and Leilah.
Astra thought she won but forgot about Shyama as she turns around and facing Shyama herself.
Shyama snaps her fingers. "Venenata tactu (Poisonous touch)!" Shyama chanted.
Shyama's magic was affected as Astra was hit back. "It's a shame. You'd fit right in as our fourth sister. You fight like a warrior, but not too well. I just gave you the most poisonous venom and you have exactly, one hour to live" she stated.
Shyama stood up and saw that her two sisters were back up. "Let's go, tomorrow is the competition and we have life forces to gather for our mistress," she commanded.
Astra starts to feel the effect of the poison flowing into her body as the three left her on the floor as she turns back into Amelia.
A door opened from up the second level and one of the selected girls saw Amelia on the floor as the girl went to Amelia's side and saw that she was slowly breathing but starting to look pale.
The girl felt helpless. "Help, somebody, everybody come here quick!" the girl called out.
The room was soon later were filled as the whole dormitory entered the lobby.
Nerine and Anala entered the lobby. "What's wrong Mandy?" Anala asked.
The girl stood up helping Amelia stand up. "I don't know, I walked in and saw her on the ground, she don't look too well," the girl explains.
Nerine quickly walked to Amelia's side and observe her body. She knows that the student have been in a fight moment ago. She looked at Anala and Emmanuelle for help as the two help take Amelia to the school's clinic.
Nerine looked back at the group. "Everything will be fine, go back to your chambers and get some sleep. I'm heading to the clinic to see what is happening," she ordered.
Nerine exits the dormitories as the students goes back to their rooms. Upon her arrival, Anala and Emmanuelle have already placed Amelia on the bed just in time with Draco, Ariana and Asha enters the clinic.
Nerine was checking Amelia's temperature and saw that indeed she was starting to catch a fever. With her water abilities, she is able to cure any ailments, but just as she prepares to cast her healing magick, Ariana saw a symbol on her wrist.
Ariana steps up to stop Nerine. "She's been infected, but this is a hex that can't be undone. She's been poisoned," she explained.
Everyone in the room felt helpless. "How do you know?" Anala asked.
Ariana studies Amelia. "This was done before when I was in training. They were known as the Widow Sisters. They're powerful witches, in the same rank as a High Grand Witch. Nothing in this world can cure the 'poisonous touch', which is the spell that was casted on Amelia," she explained.
Asha looked at the poor child. "So we can't do anything? We're just going to let her die?" Draco asked worried.
Blake rushed to the clinic in time as he spotted Amelia on the bed. "Amelia! What happened?" he asked.
Nerine tries to calm down Blake. "She's been poisoned, there is no way we can heal her," Ariana repeated.
Blake felt angry and sad for Amelia. "She doesn't deserve this; those sisters are the ones that did this. They used her like a slave, use her magic for their own greed," he stated.
Nerine and Anala looked confuse. "Calm down, come with me," Asha said.
Both the sorcerer and Blake walked out of the room. As the two walked out, both Blake and Asha walked to a Gazebo.
Blake hunched over looking at the lake. "You're not like any student are you?" Asha asked.
Blake's point of view
I can't believe it, the sisters must of figured out Amelia was trying to help the other magicians. I looked at Asha and realized that I might have blown my cover.
Damn it!
Good going Blake!
I let out a sigh. "What do you mean?" I asked
Asha was staring at me, trying to figure out what I am. "I have seen students come and go; becoming great magicians. We taught them that magick is never good nor evil. It is the way how you use it. Your great grandparents were the bright and top of their class. When the High Grand Witch tried to blow this school, it was your great grandparents that saved this school. There is a spirit and resemblance of you that reminds me of them," he explains.
I looked at the Sorcerer and wondered how long has he lived?
He's been around since my great grandparents, but how is that possible?
He looks a day over thirty-five. "I guess you can call me a late bloomer. Or I guess like many people that is born into magick or is an heir, I didn't inherited my great grandparent's powers until I turned eighteen. My two friends back home and I, we're not any ordinary teenagers. Draco sees something in us. He sensed out our abilities when I first discovered mine. With his knowledge, he has taught us how to control our abilities. Ever since then, we have been hunting rogue beasts ever since. Then things just keeps building up when now there is something bigger than hunting rogue beasts," Blake stated.
Asha nodded his head. "So, my question is, why is someone that already knows how to control his ability, is at a school and in a competition?" he wondered.
Ah crap I just blew my cover. "At first, we knew that this competition and the school is a primary target for one of the things we're trying to defeat. Upon doing so, one of us has to go undercover; hence why I am here. However, half of me was curious as to who I am? Why was I given the name 'Champion of Magick'? Then I always wonder where my abilities came from. When Ariana mentioned that I was a hybrid witch or warlock and a sorcerer I became interested. I didn't come here because I lust for power. I came here to protect and well, also learn who I am. I mean I have never seen so many magicians in one area in my life," I explained.
It was quiet for a few minutes when I turned and looked at Asha smiling at me. "As much as the crystal ball wants to continue this competition; I have to cancel it, before others will get hurt," Asha stated.
Just then Nerine walked over to the two. "Come quick, it's about Amelia," she said.
The three ran out the gazebo to the clinic and once inside Amelia didn't look too good.
Amelia looked up and saw Blake and Asha. "I must…tell you something…important," she wheezed.
Blake went to her side immediately. "Astra, I am so sorry I didn't get to you on time," he said.
Amelia smiled softly as she coughs. "It's all right. I have fought with them so long that I think this is the last time. *wheezes* Asha I apologize for l-lying about who I am…*coughs* my name is Astra and I am the last Unicorn…*wheezes* The Widow Sisters has caused nothing but fear and misery wherever they go. They destroyed my home and my family. Thanks to Ariana, I got back my strength and try to fight back. However, I couldn't…*coughs* didn't want them to discover who I really am, so I disguised my ability and myself and surrendered as their servant. Eleanor, Nairobi and Sheila, they are not what you think they are. They have been gathering life forces for 3 years. Don't *coughs violently* this will be the fourth year. Y-you must stop them *coughs violently," she explained stressfully.
Amelia started coughing harshly into the pillow. "Blake. You have been so kind to me. I have seen the good in you. Listen to me Blake; you have the ability to stop the Widow Sisters. For centuries now, they think they are powerful. You can stop them. I believe in you," she pointed out.
In matter of seconds, Amelia stared blank as the room gone silent. Blake starts to tremble as he balled his fist. Ariana was covering her mouth with her hands as Draco, Asha, Nerine and Anala watches the poor girl gave her last breath.
Blake looked up and saw Amelia turning into a wisp as the bright ball of light dissipates.
The room fell silent. "Then it is decided. You have to cancel the competition. Think of the children," Nerine stated.
Everyone looked at the sorcerer. "I agree, as of today, the competition is canceled," Asha stated.
Blake was spaced out looking down at bed. "We have to do something about the Widow Sisters. They already must have known this will happen," he said.
Draco put a hand on Blake's shoulder. "Don't worry, we'll get them," he said reassuring.
During the next day, it was the day of the competition. Everyone was hyped up and excited for the competition to begin. Standing at the center were the three sisters, Maverick, four of Maverick's friends were present minus Amelia and Blake.
Asha stepped up the podium. "I know all of you are excited today. This competition has been around for many generations. I am sadly to say though that today I am afraid that the competition is canceled," he announced.
The crowd started to act up. "A series of unfortunate event was upon us last night here at Galavan. A student, once as like yourselves, was killed. So until then, the competition won't be happening today," Asha has spoken looking at the three sisters.
Just then, Blake walked out in his rogue beast hunting outfit with Mara and Xander. The students around them started to whisper one another.
Blake then stepped out to the stage. "My name is Blake Masterson, I came here, not because to enter the competition, but came here as an undercover. I came here because you all are in danger. You see, for years the Widow Sisters have been coming to this school undetected until last night. Amelia risked her life in order to help exposed the sisters. The sisters before you, they are the Widow Sisters," he confessed.
Sheila sneered as the Widow Sister's secret was exposed as the sisters reveal themselves.
The rest of the student body gasped at the revelation. "What a marvelous introduction, but I'm afraid you'll have to watch as I gather life force for my mistress and then I shall kill you," Shyama stated.
Before Shyama, Tzila and Leilah could do anything, Mara creates a shield to protect the students from their attacks.
Xander and Mara joined Blake at the stage. "You guys ready?" Blake asked.
Xander and Mara nodded as Blake as the three sisters. "All right guys, its morphin' time!" Blake stated.
Blake and Xander raises up their left arm; Blake's index and middle finger pointing up and his right and left arms slightly bent while Xander draws out a pentagram along with weaving details.
Mara holds out her brooch and does a circular motion clockwise with her arms wide. Blake slowly lowers his arm chest length and then raises both his arms left then right as he forms an "X" as the two bracelet touches and shines.
Blake was the first to call out. "Crystal magic, shine on!" Blake chanted.
The pentagram that Xander drew shines bright with his pendant. "Dream weave execute, shine on!" Xander chanted.
Mara's brooch starts to shine. "Light of hope, shine on!" Mara chants.
In a flash they were transforming into their ranger suits.
Blake strikes a pose. "I'm the protector of the magic realm and the champion of magic; I am the magic knight silver ranger!" Blake announces.
Mara follows suit. "I am the protector of the celestial realm and the champion of light; I am the magic knight white ranger!" she announces.
Xander was the last one as he too strikes a pose. "I am the protector of the dream realm and the champion of execution; I am the magic knight black ranger!" he announces.
The three stood together. "United as one, we're the Power Rangers Magic Knights!" the three finished in unison.
Maverick was shocked seeing the boy that he has grown to know in matter of days transform into some kind of superhero.
It was a fair fight, the Widow Sisters vs. the Power Rangers as they began to fight.
Blake blocks Shyama's attacks as he flips over beams of energy blasts coming from the leader of the sisters. He flips over Shyama, but his attack was blocked by the leader but flip backwards to get away from the attack. Blake jumps up in the air and as starts spinning in an air spiral aiming towards Shyama. His attack was a success when his air spiral attack bursts to flames knocking back the leader.
Mara did a full series of flips starting with a front handspring, steps out, rounded back handspring, steps out again, a rounded back handspring again and finally a full twisting layout trying to dodge Leilah's beam attacks. Mara flung her shield at Leilah as she did a no hand cartwheel dodging Leilah's attack. Leilah came at her with her sword. Mara blocked the sword with her shield as she sliced at Leilah. Mara hooked her left arm behind Leilah's neck and she jump up allowing to kick herself off of Leilah's chest. Once up in the air, her sword made an x mark as the attack hit Leilah.
Xander was having troubles trying to attack Tzila as she keeps zipping pass him. As Tzila passes him, she slices left and right.
Xander stood back up. "That is it," he said.
Just then Xander steps at the nearest shadow as he now matches Tzila's speed. He starts to weave a trap as he flings it to the ground. It was a success as Tzila steps on the trap sinking to the floor.
The three sisters regroup away from the rangers. "You just made the biggest mistake," Shyama said.
The sisters' eyes start glowing. "Simul quis iste sit una, omnia in unum (Let us join together, all in one)," they chanted in unison.
The Widow Sisters started to fuse together after repeating the chant over and over.
The Sisters' transformation was complete. "So this is the red bull machine that Astra was talking about," Blake stated.
Mara immediately knew what she needed to go. "I got this," she said.
Mara raises her left hand up in the sky as the clouds opens up revealing the heavens. "Celestial light reprise!" Mara called out.
A beam of light came down from the clouds as what appears to be a giant size robot in white with gold trimmings and a turquoise gem on the center of its chest resembling Mara's ranger suit.
Mara was transfer into the rune god's gem allowing it to come alive. "Rune god Uriel activate!" she announced.
The Uriel zord starts attacking the red bull machine, but the attack wasn't successful. The red bull machine tilts its head down and as the bull's horn attaches to the Uriel zord, the bull lifts the zord off the ground tossing the zord up to the air and starts shooting lasers from its horns.
The Uriel zord landed on the ground harsh. "Come one Uriel, you can do this," Mara cheered.
While Mara inside her zord Blake and Xander were on the ground below fighting all the tamed rogue beasts. Blake looks up watching the red bull having a few successful hits as the bull hits the Uriel zord.
Just then the same bright blue ball of light circles around Blake. "Astra, is that you?" he asked.
Astra true form appeared like a vision. "Blake, I may not be there physically. But I think I am able to lend you my power to help fight the Widow Sisters," she insisted.
A pearlescent tear drop pearl appeared in front of Blake. "Blake, that is your enchantment, uses it now and hurry!" Ariana instructed.
Blake rises up his right arm up in the air and his left hand on his chest as he puts the gem on the center of his chest plate. "Crystal Magic, reprise!" he chants.
Clouds starts circling clearing a path until a light shoots out from the pentagram, as a bigger version of Astra came swooping down. The appearance of Astra wasn't the same as Astra before. Astra had what appears to be almost armor like features with a gem attached to her head resembling as a horn.
Blake was transfer into the rune god's gem allowing the zord to come alive. "Rune god Astra, activate!" he announced.
The Astra zord helped the Uriel zord by attacking the red bull machine with its horn energy missiles projections.
The red bull machine was hit hard as it slams to the ground. "We will not be defeated." The Widow Sisters said in unison.
The red bull machine starts forming into its next form. The red bull pulled up itself to a standing position as the two front legs turns into arms as the torso turns. The head opens revealing a robotic head.
The red bull machine's transformation was complete. "Now prepare to be squished!" The Widow Sisters said.
Both the Uriel zord and the Astra zord both fought against the red bull machine as best they could. The Widow Sisters used the red bull's fists as missiles as the fists launches towards the two zords.
The missiles were a direct hit. "There sure are tough," Mara commented.
Blake grunts from the attack. "We got to keep trying," he replied.
Just then he heard Astra's voice. "Blake, I believe I can switch to warrior mode," she explained.
Blake nodded his head. "Astra Rune God Warrior Mode, activate!" he commanded.
The Astra zord flew up to the air getting ready to transform. The Rune God zord's head pushes back as the two front legs pushes up and the hind legs splits from the body. The hooves from each of the front legs lift up inside the leg revealing a foot on each leg. The hind legs turns into the shoulders and arms as the wings detaches and reattached on the forearms. The head of Astra pulls forward revealing a robot head as the eyes glows a pearlescent color matching Blake's gem.
The Rune God Zord was complete. "This is for you Astra," Blake said.
The Astra zord was lifted off the ground as it made a dash towards the Widow Sisters. The zord's wings turn into an elbow blade as Astra dashes left and right slashing at the red bull machine.
Then it was Uriel's turn to do the same slices the red bull machine with its sword. Both Uriel and Astra flew up to the air as Uriel fling its shield at the red bull and Astra starts throwing reloadable wings type throwing knives at the machine.
Astra's eyes lit up. "It is time to finish this," Blake confirmed.
Uriel's eyes glows as it held out its left arm, "eternal light give me strength," Mara said sending a quick prayer.
The hand of the rune god tucks in now forming the arm into a blaster. "Celestial beam attack!" Mara called out.
Astra lifts both arms up in the air forming an energy ball as all the elements starts forming together. First the element air appeared in the center, then fire circles around it, follow by water and finally earth. All five elements turn into a light blue sphere representing the fifth element, spirit.
Astra was ready to aim to the red bull machine. "Cosmos Spirit Bomb, HA!" Blake chanted.
Both attacks was a direct hit as Uriel's beam attack and Astra's cosmo spirit bomb both hit at the same time.
There was an electric charge zapping the red bull machine. "AH! SORRY WE FAILED YOU MISTRESS!" the Widow Sisters called out.
The red bull machine was defeated as the machine went down and explodes slowly dissipating.
The crowd on the ground was giving the two rune god machines an applause as the rangers have saved another day.
Blake has just finished packing as he closes the trunk of his car when he looked over and sees all the mentors.
Blake bowed at the mentors. "I just want to apologize for not saying anything sooner," he said.
Nerine gave Blake a hug. "Oh don't you worry about it, without you and your friends, we wouldn't have known the Widow Sisters were in the school," she said.
Ajalaa patted on Blake's shoulder. "You did well kid, for someone your age, you sure know what you're doing with your magic," he commented.
Astra walked forward and gave Blake a rolled paper. "I want you to have this. Don't open it yet, wait till you get home," he instructed.
Blake nodded his head agreed not to read the paper yet. All the mentors gasp as Astra hugs Blake when he never hugged anyone before.
Blake sighed as he returns the hug. "Thank you Blake, you have risked your life to save all the students. Hopefully we'll see you again, but not too soon," Astra said.
Astra bows to Blake and then to the others and departs as the mentors follow suit.
Blake and the group returns to Draco's house as they lounge around the lounge area gazing out at the lake.
Blake was too deep in thought. "Hey, is everything all right?" Mara asked.
Blake looked up to see Xander and Mara standing next to him. He gave his friends a reassuring smile that everything is going to be all right.
Xander and Mara sat beside him. "You know, I learned a lot about my family history from my parents and now I found even more interesting part is I am lineage of both Sorcery and Witchcraft. It's mind blowing really. But I guess now I feel like I know who I am now," Blake explains.
Both Xander and Mara gives Blake a hug. "So, are you going to read what Astra gave you?" Xander asked.
Blake rolled his eyes at his curious friend as he stood up to retrieve the rolled up paper Astra gave him. Once he sat down, Draco and Ariana both joined the three teenagers.
Blake unfolds the paper and notice it was a letter from Astra.
Dear Blake,
I am forever grateful that you have come to Galavan.
Even though it was only a short few days but I see goodness in you and the bravest.
What you have showcase, you have already mastered strength, passion, wisdom, courage, and tranquility.
If you're ever at Galavan, the School of Magick, this is an open invitation to come back, but not to compete.
I am proud and honored that you'll be the Sorcerer's Apprentice.
Sincerely,
Sorcerer Astra Ravenoff
Everyone in the room was silent reeling in what Astra just wrote.
Xander was the one that broke out the silence. "Dude, you're the Sorcerer's Apprentice!" he exclaimed.
Blake was astonished and thrilled to receive the news. "I can't believe it," he said.
Draco was standing behind the three as he pats Blake on the shoulder. "We're all so very proud of you," he commented.
Ariana raised her tea cup. "To Blake, the Sorcerer's Apprentice!" she announced.
Then everyone joined in. "To Blake, the Sorcerer's Apprentice!" they announced in unison.
