Chapter 3: Run

Normal*POV
29 Seconds.
28 Seconds.
27 Seconds.
All four raven haired children were awoken with a sound of another huge explosion. Hearing the explosion, the children knew they only had barely thirty seconds until the village was going to be engulf in a final explosion leaving nothing but a barren wasteland. So they took off in great speed heading for the main exit of the village.
26 Seconds.
25 Seconds.
As each one of them jump from building to building, all of their minds were preoccupied elsewhere.

Sure, the village is about to be blow up, but the children had dealt with it before. They had gotten use to treacherous and unpredictable tasks like this one.

The petrifying screams of villagers and soldiers being kill by each explosion every second didn't make them even flinch.

The black smog and fires that lit up the whole village in each sector.

The huge piece of debris coming straight at Momoishi was nothing she couldn't handle.
"Water Style: Water Dragon Jutsu!" She said shouting.
The immense water dragon cut through debris like scissors. Momoishi jump into air using the water as her launch pad flying outside of the village area into the trees landing safety.

The exit of the village was block with burning rubble. Chikataro had no choice but to resort to his wind nature.
"Wind Style: Slash!" Chikataro waves his hand and creates multiple blades of wind, which combine to form a single, large blade of air. The large blade of air cut through the flames giving Chikataro time to run through to the other side. A second later, he jump into forest preparing for the explosion that would occur in less than 10 seconds.
10 Seconds.
9 Seconds.
Kagome and Zanemaru were running out of time, so they had no choice but to make their own exits out of the village.

"Fire Style: Fire—"

"Earth Style: Earth—"

"DRAGON IMPULSE!"
Dragons made from the ground and flames ruptures through rubble of—what use to be called a village.
3 Seconds
Kagome and Zanemaru flew into the trees getting as close to ground floor as possible.

"BOOOM!"
The village is engulfed in a release of nuclear energy of high temperature and internal pressure called an explosion.
The explosion was the least of the children's problems.
How were they going to survive?
They were officially on the run.
The run of survival.
