Hey guys! So sorry for the wait. I got my report card back and I'm not happy with my grade :( I GO STUPID B IN SOCIAL STUDIES!And right now I have a B also ;(. In 3 subjects!Anyway please know that I'm trying to bring my grades up and it's really hard when you're in a club, math olympics, reading olympics, and when you get tons of homework a day. I'm also learning VERY advanced stuff for a person in my grade. Also I want to have my college plan all worked out even though I still have a while to worry about that, I just want my future planned out so that I could live life the fullest until then. Anyway, I also was having writer's block on this chapter, but finally I came up with an idea. Also this um kinda took me 2 week to type. Sorry :/

Last Time

"What about you and Natsume?"She asks still smirking."I saw you guys lip-locking not too long ago."

I flushed at the memory and of what she said.

"W-what are you talking about?!"Great I'm stuttering."There's nothing going on between us!"

She the rolled her eyes still smirking."Yeah yeah, whatever you say. Come on,class is starting soon."

"Hai!"I say as I throw away my trash in a nearby trash can and followed her inside the building.

Mikan's POV

When we got into class, everyone stared at us. Us meaning me and Permy. I sorta felt uncomfortable, but I guess I should start to get use to it again. I mean this use to be normal when I was younger.

Flashback:When Mikan was at the academy when she was younger.

"Look it's Mikan Yukihara."

"Get away from her! She might steal your alice then use it against you!"

"She's such a freak!"

"She's so hideous!Her face makes me want to barf up my lunch!"

"How do people find her cute! She's evil!"

"Her adoptive brother is the 'monster'!"

"He's just as dangerous as her!"

"I heard that her parents broke the rule about a teacher-student relationship."

"Wow her whole family is made up of freaks!"

I walked through the opening people made for me because they hated me. I clutched harder onto my stuffed bear that's named Mr. Bear as I heard what the older kids were saying about my parents and Onii-chan.

True I'm a freak.

And true I'm ugly.

But my family doesn't have to be involved with this.

Everyday it's like this. All because my dorm is close to the middle and high school kid's division. Everyone there thinks I'm weird and dangerous.

But the truth is, I'm not. Only the other pre-schoolers and kids from the Elementary Division think I'm not dangerous and that I'm nice, but it's not like I can change my fate.

Because I will forever remain a freak.

A tear slipped down my face as I walked towards my room. People are now throwing their lunch trash at me so I picked up my place.

End of flashback

My eyes started watering a little by the thought of those memories.

I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. I will not show weakness. Even if it kills me. I walk over to my seat which happens to be next to Natsume.

I sit down lay my head on my desk with my arms covering it. After staying like that for about 5 minutes I felt someone poking my shoulder. I look up to see who it is.

I see a glimpse of blonde hair and know immediately who it is. Well I don't know his name, but I know who it is. Hmm what was his name. I can't believe I forgot. I'm pretty sure I use to hang out with him before. Hmm...Runa?Rula?Ruru?Ruka?Yeah that's it!

"Yes Ruka-pyon?"I ask him. He started blushing at the nickname I use to call him when we were younger.

"Are you alright?"He asks me recovering from the nickname I called him.

"Yeah, I'm just a bit tired."I told him with a sad smile.

"Oh ok well get some rest later, class is almost over."He says with a big smile. I remember how Hotaru use to tell me when we were younger how she liked him.

I looked up and started paying attention to Misaki-sensei's biology class. It was the last class. After about 30 minutes, class was over.

I looked next to me and saw that Natsume wasn't there. Good thing he skipped class, now I can try to make a plan to get the item my mom said was precious and then escape.

I went to my special star room and went inside my bedroom. (Special star bedrooms are like an apartment room.) I went to my side table and opened the drawer that was only opened with the right fingerprint.

I opened it and saw that all the stuff I once treasured there. I smiled slightly and reminded myself to open the 'treasure box' later. (It's my box that had things that gave good memories.) I grabbed my mom's silver diary that was engraved with her name, 'Yuka Azumi'. I unlocked the lock with the key my mom gave me as a necklace. I flipped through the papyrus-like paper. I finally found the page that had the map of the item. I read the last diary entry that was before the map.

Dear Mikan,

I know that usually I would write down the words 'Dear Diary' to start the entry, but since I know it's you who will be reading this in the future I've decided to write your name instead. By the time your reading this, your father and I are most likely no longer walking on this planet. I want you to know that we loved you so much which is why we escaped the academy. I want you to know something very important so listen closely. I have hidden an important object that can be found by using the map that you will find on the next page. This object is very powerful and is meant to express the beauty of life. However, if it ends up in the wrong hands the world may be in grave danger. I've hidden it in the academy where you were born because people will think that I still have it. Make sure that it doesn't find its way to the ESP's hands. He's the reason why we escaped. When you find the object, I want you to put it on my grave in my casket then put a lock on it. Remember to use your alices to find the item. I can't tell you what it is now. It's too unsafe. Remember that I love you now and always. I'm watching on you from heaven.

P.S. The map isn't the full map. The map in my diary will help lead you to the other map and so on until you found all 15.

My eyes dampen a little. You can't really blame me though. I really miss my parents.

I grab the map and observed it a little. The map was about 10x10 long and had each place in Gakuen Alice labelled. I screened it trying to find a familiar place I've been to before. The Northern Forest. I've been there countless of times. After all, it was Onii-chan's favorite place. It was the only place he was allowed to go out once a month.

I notice on the map that the X is on the High School Division drawing. Oh great. I never really liked high schoolers. It's not really my fault. When I was in pre-school, the middle schoolers and high schoolers would bully me. I guess it should be different now though because the current high schoolers were the elementary schoolers that were kind to me and always played with me when I was younger.

I get up and go toward my closet. I can't wear my uniform during this search. I won't be comfortable.

I reached in and grabbed a gray short-sleeve shirt with a yellow duck and some light blue denim skinny jeans. I grabbed my gray buckled boots with a heel and headed towards the bathroom to change. Once I was changed I kept my hair down and headed out my room. I ran towards the High School Division making sure that no one will notice me. (I learned how to have ninja skills thanks to Onii-chan.) When I was there I made sure no one was around and pulled out my map.

I looked at the big red X and read the little riddle next to it.

"Subara-Nii!What are you doing here?"

Ok so this might sound confusing to you guys and not make sense. It actually makes a lot of sense. When I was in pre-school, Subara-Nii (Hotaru's brother) was in elementary school. I remember that I would always see him in the science room in the Elementary Division since he wanted to be a doctor. Sometimes, together with me and Hotaru, we would sneak into the High School Division because their science lab was better than any of the others.

I run into the building and made my way towards the science lab. After what seemed like forever,(The high school is bigger than the other schools.) I finally reached the room. I slowly opened the brass knob and peek inside. Fortunately,no one in there.

I crept inside and started looking around. I mostly looked around the medical area since Subara-Nii mostly spent his time there. I opened random cabinets until I come across an old rusty one. I opened it slowly considering that it could break if I wasn't careful. I reached into it and pulled out a dusty old medical book that listed old remedies. I remember that Subara-Nii use to always memorize every one of them. No one else read it and by the look of the many layers of dust, no body used it in quite a while.

I open it to a remedy that my mom use to always give to me when I got poison ivy from the Northern Forest. My theory was correct, the second map was there. I slowly put it in my pocket and closed everything ready to head back. Just as I opened the door to head out of the room, I bumped into someone.

"Sorry I wasn't looking where I was-Mikan?Is that you?"The mysterious person asked. I look up and see a guy around 16 with midnight blue hair and sapphire eyes. He also had a small blue star tattoo underneath

"Tsubasa-Sempai?"I ask when I recognized him.

"It is you! I missed you so much! Same with Misaki,Megane,Kaname,Tono, and the others! People were saying you were back, but I thought it was just a rumor!"He said.

I smiled. "Well I'm back for um now."

"What do you mean?Wait nevermind that, what are you doing in here?"He asks referring to the lab.

"I just uh wanted to get a look around some places that gave back memories"I answered.

"Oh well come give me a hug!"He says enthusiastically while holding his arms out.

I smiled even bigger and hugged him. After a few seconds I pulled back.

"Well I got to go now. I need to finish my homework."I told him with a huge smile.

"Ok chibi, see you next time. Oh and don't get in trouble and do something reckless."He says whispering the last part.

"Don't worry about me, I'll be fine."I tell him back and then headed for the door.

"Oh and please just try to forget about everything that was in the past."I say before rushing out of the building leaving him dumbfounded.

I run back to my dorm. When I went to the door, I noticed it was unlock which is really weird. I mean I was almost positive that I left it locked. I walked in but was only greeted with a hand covering my mouth. I tried to scream, but it was only muffled.

"Where were you."The person hissed.
