As they all slowly started making their way back out and to their cars to finish out their shift Eddie suddenly had the perfect name idea for a boy. She waited to share it with him until they were driving back to their patrol area and no one else could hear them.

"Babe what do you think about the name Joseph David if it's a boy?" She asked, and his face lit up like a Christmas tree.

"I love it. But you would really want to name our son after my brother?" She smiled.

"Would I have suggested it if I didn't want to babe?" She asks as she rolls her eyes.

"Wait did you get David from our patrol assignment? Since we're 12-David?" He asked.

"Duh. It's how we met, how we fell in love, and all of that plus tequila is how we created the tiny life inside of me, so yes that is where David came from." He smiled, reached over, and squeezed her hand.

"Babe I don't know if you saw me, but I showed your dad the pictures. He loved it. I want to make some copies for everyone tomorrow and we can put them in envelopes and just give them the pictures and see who figures it out first." She smiled.

"I saw you and I think that'll be awesome. That way anyone who wants pictures will have them too." She nodded. They drove around their beat, but everything had just died down since this morning. This is something that they were both happy about. It gave them more time to chat and talk about what was probably going to happen the next day at dinner with his family.

"Nicky is going to be so happy and I'm sure that Danny and Erin made a few bets on when we would finally get together." He chuckled, and she nodded.

"You're probably right. Oh, look at that, it's time to go in. Shift is almost over." She replied, and he started driving back to the precinct.

When they got there and made their way back into the roll-call room for end-of-shift briefings they found that they were the first ones back in and decided to go talk to Renzulli about when Eddie was going to start desk duty.

"Hey Sarge, can we come in?" Eddie asked knocking on the door.

"Yes. I assume this is about when you will be starting desk duty?" They nodded and shut the door.

"I am about six weeks along and I will be going on desk duty at the halfway point, which lands in the week of January 14th of next year." She said as she subconsciously rubbed her stomach even though she didn't have a baby bump yet. They did the paperwork that was required and the three of them made their way back into the roll-call room for the briefings, so they could go home.

"Babe do you think that we should go ahead and move in together? So that it's easier for us to commute back and forth to work and everything?" He started to agree, but she started rambling.

"And after last night I don't want to ever sleep without you anymore and…" He interrupted her with a kiss.

"I was trying to agree but you wouldn't shush for just a second. Now we both have two-bedroom apartments, so, do we want to move us both into one of them or do we want to find somewhere together?" He asked. She smiled and took his hand.

"I think we should stay in your place. It's super close to work, there is more square footage and it's much nicer." She said as he pulled into the parking garage to her building.

"Okay then. Do you want to start moving stuff now? Like some of your clothes and stuff like that?" He asked, and she nodded.

"Yeah we can grab a bunch of stuff. We can fill my car and yours, so we can move more. I mean the Porsche won't hold too much but it can hold some. I have some old boxes. How much we take is up to you love." She smiled.

"Let's take as much as we can babe." He grinned, and they made their way up to her apartment and she unlocked the door.

"Alright first things first, kiss me." She said and turned into his arms. He picked her up and she wrapped her legs around her waist their lips crashed together, and they only separated because they had to breathe at some point.

"Well I am glad we checked that off. And that we can do that whenever the hell we want to now." He smirked, and she jumped down.

"We should get packing. Where are the boxes babe?" He asked.

"Spare room." She replied. He made his way to the spare room and found the boxes. She found the tape and they set the boxes open and taped them. They started off by packing her clothes. They just tossed it into the boxes and she put all different work uniforms in a dry-cleaning bag to keep them from being damaged. As they finished filling the boxes with things they began to fill their cars up and she made sure to grab her photo albums and other valuables and they made their way back to his place.

When they got to Jamie's apartment they started to bring her stuff up a couple of boxes at a time. They decided to just leave the boxes in the spare room for the night and she pulled out a nice outfit for church and Sunday dinner the next day. She was so excited to see his family's reaction to them being together and about the baby. She had the envelopes with the pictures of the ultrasound in them in her purse and ready to go. They finally decided to head to bed at around eleven o'clock.

As Eddie lay cuddled into him she quickly fell asleep and dreamt of their future. She dreamt about the baby, their future wedding, and everything else. She was so happy to finally have him next to her and in her arms. They were both finally happy with the way their lives were going.
