Toadette and Pom Pom met with each other again, with the pink mushroom girl determined to make the Koopa eat her words as they were at the Cloudtop Cruise, high in the sky as they were on the white puffy clouds, with several Mario enemies watching them.
"All right, shorty, let's see you try and beat me!" Pom Pom stated as she glanced at Toadette.
"Trust me, sister, you're gonna regret challenging me at jump rope!" Toadette snapped back, with the two beginning to skip rope. "I will cream you!"
A yellow robed Shy Guy tapped a nearby green Spike, pointing at the two pink girls. "Wow, they're doing jump rope!"
"Yeah... looks more complicated than it seems." The Spike replied as he took out a giant cannonball fromn his mouth.
Toadette and Pom Po exchanged angry glances with each other as they kept jumping, with both of them trying to outdo each other.
"Hey Toadette," Pom Pom stated as she smirked. "Your shoes are untied."
"My shoes don't have laces, you dumb turtle." Toadette remarked with a smirk of her own. "Plus, there's a Piranha Plant licking the top of your head.
Pom Pom blinked, glancing up to see that there was a Piranha Plant licking her from the top, causing her to scream as she lost her balance, falling flat on her face as Toadette laughed, winning the jump rope competition as the enemies all cheered her own. Birdo and Wendy O' Koopa, who were both wary of the contest, watched from the wooden airship.
"You think she has a chance?" Wendy remarked as she was munching on some Wendy's.
Birdo nodded as she folded her arms together. "I know she has potential... she's been doing this since she was young."
