Wanda and Ian decided to use their current alone time to their advantage and just watch Once Upon A Time on Netflix. "I don't know where everyone is and I know Melanie is probably going to stay with Jared until midnight or something, so it's just us. Do you want to order a pizza?" "Sure, sounds good to me" "What do you want on it, I'll order?" "Whatever you want is fine with me" "Okay, then how about hand tossed with mushroom, bacon and ham on it?" "Perfect" As they wait for the pizza to arrive Ian looks over and notices Wanda absent-mindedly twirling her hair between her fingers.

"You still do that with your hair" It was stated more as a fact than a question but it pulled her out of her thoughts regardless of what it was meant to be. "What?" "Your hair, you would play with your hair all the time whenever you were thinking about something important to you" Trying to cover it up she clenched up her fist and put her hands in her lap as her cheeks flushed red from embarrassment. She was about to say something else when the doorbell rang. "Its probably the pizza" getting up to answer the door she squeezed in front of him and the coffee table almost losing her balance and ending up in his lap but he put his hands up just in time to catch her at the waist feeling the heat she was giving off through the thin tank top she had on. "Thanks" she half smiled and went to get the door.

"Hi" "That will be $10. 50…" the pizza guy said through the doorway while handing her the box. "Okay just give me one second…" she left to go set the pizza down so she could pay but Ian had gotten up without her realizing and already paid the man before she was even on her way back. "You didn't have to do that" "Its fine, really, I don't mind" Dropping the subject they went back into the living room to watch Now You See Me.

The movie had ended, the pizza was gone and it was now 10 o'clock. Sometime during the movie Wanda ended up falling asleep with her head resting on Ian's shoulder. He didn't want to wake her so he carefully slipped out from under her and draped the blanket that was over the couch over her sleeping form. He cleaned up the mess on the table and went home. Wanda woke up the next morning on the couch and noticed that Ian was missing and figured he must have gone home. Seeing how it was Friday, she decided to take her time getting ready. Its not like she had someone to impress anyways. Passing her sister's room on her way to take a shower, Wanda noticed that Melanie wasn't in her room and that there was a good chance she never came home in the first place. She must have spent the night with Jared. "Well it looks like I'll be walking today." Forty minutes later Wanda was clean, dressed and ready to go. She walked out the front door and locked up when she turned around just in time to see Ian of all people pulling up in his gray Ford f150.

"Hey" he called out through the passenger window. "Hey, what are you doing here?" "Melanie called me this morning and asked me to drive you to school since she wouldn't have time to" "Thanks but I think I'll just walk" she says as she starts off in the school's general direction. Pulling up beside her while keeping the pace as she walked he spoke to her through the passenger side window again "Come on Wanda, it's already 7:10 and you'll be late if you walk. I'll let you listen to whatever you want, just let me take you to school." Stopping in her tracks but continuing to look forward she weighed her options in her head. "Fine" Ian opened the passenger door for her as best he could with a smile plastered on his face as she hopped in. "Morning" "Morning" she buckled her seat belt and he pulled off to head to school. "Are you ever going to let me do something on my own?" "What do you mean?" "You save me from getting hit by a car, you carried my books for me when I dropped them in the hall, you drove me home from school, you paid for the pizza and cleaned up the mess too, I noticed, and now you're driving me to school. If it were anyone else doing this for someone they would probably be dating. I don't get it, why are you being so nice to me?" she looks over at him looking for some type of answer. "Maybe I just like doing things for people I care about" He looks over at her at that last part and their eyes meet for a second and everything around them seems to get quiet.

Ian pulled up next to Melanie's car and got out. Wanda looked over towards her sister to find her full attention on Jared's lips. "So this is what too busy looks like?" she shouted to her sister knowing that she could hear her. Ian walked up next to her as they were about to go inside and started talking again. "I'm starting to think those two don't actually need air to breath. Hey, so I was wondering if you want to go get some frozen yogurt today after school, but I have football practice. Do you mind waiting? There is something important I wanted to talk to you about?" "Um, sure, I don't mind. I'll meet you at the field?" "Okay…" he turned his head at the sound of his brother calling his name "I will see you then, bye Wanda" he gave her a quick grin and jogged down the hallway to catch up with Kyle. "Bye Ian" Wanda sees Jared pass her heading towards the now growing group of football players and Melanie comes up behind her linking their arms together. They head down the hallway towards their lockers away from the boys "Do enough taste testing for the day?"

"Haha" she mocks back "…so what were you and Ian talking about?" she interrogates as they get to their adjacent lockers "Nothing really" she shrugs pulling out some books for her next class and shutting the door "…he asked if I would wait for him after school today to go get some fro-yo after practice. He said he had something important to talk tell me, why?" "Just asking. Oh, maybe he is going to ask you to the Mayor's ball. I know for a fact that he doesn't have a date still…" "Yeah right, one of the most popular guys in the school who happens to be one of the Mayor's sons is going to ask me, a social pariah, to be his date to the Mayor's ball. Tell me something, have you been deprived of too much oxygen from sucking face with Jared every chance you get?" "I'm just saying, you two have been spending a lot of time together. Kyle told Jared that he didn't come home until late last night" "As opposed to not at all. Thanks for the heads up by the way" "Sorry about that but I did make sure you still had a ride, didn't I? Besides it's not like you were alone. Ian let it slip when I asked him to pick you up this morning." Wanda gave her a confused look as to what she meant by 'let it slip' "I asked him to pick you up and he said he didn't mind going back" Melanie looked at her sister insinuating that something must have happened between them if he came back home late. Wanda picked up on it quickly because almost everything in her sister's head was borderline naughty "Is your mind ever out of the gutter…whatever you think happened last night, didn't. All we did was watch some Netflix, order a pizza and watched a movie. I ended up falling asleep and when I woke up this morning Ian was already gone. That's it, nothing more." "Fine" she put her hands up surrendering "I got to get to class" With that, Wanda went to class waiting for school to let out.
