Magane and Altair were sitting at a table, eatting dinner together. They, over the course of a few days, learned that they had a lot more in common than they had previously thought. In fact, Magane thought, she could even have a shot at becoming this strange girl. After all, having the power to traverse worlds is important, anyway. While Altair went to use the bathroom, Magane said to the waitress, who was asking what they would like, "There was only one person sitting here, me." The waiteress replied, "No, there was a girl that just left." Magane snickered and said "Uso no uso..." and snapped her fingers. Immediately she asked to go check the bathroom, and no one was there. "I guess I've got someone else out of the way now", she said. She felt something odd, thought, Altair's mind was still within her. Not wanting to lose Altair's knowledge, she absorbed Altair within herself. Suddenly she felt a lot more awkward, although her dominant teasing personality was still there. "I guess I just combined with her", she thought... she was going to have to think more about this later.
Altair herself had fell upon a major milestone in her ability to gain more powers. Both Altair and Magane were power-hungry, but Altair didn't have Magane's version of Infinite Deception of Words until she fused with her. She had stretched the truth about her being a fusion of three characters - her personality was supposed to include Magane's personality, but she hadn't had the opportunity to actually bring out that part of herself, so by manipulating the plot, she got Magane to fuse with her. A win-win situation for the both of them.
