Heyyy so so sorry for not updating in forever. No excuses at all, please forgive meh face. Here is the new chapter I swear I will try to update or at least write a short story every week or month.

Im thinking of making this a yaoi story. Warning now. Enjoy and I do not own Bleach.

"HEY! ICHIGO!" Who is the hell is that? Go away! Leave me alone.

"OI! ICHIGO WAKE UP!" That voice? Sounds familiar, but who? Who is it?

"WE ARE GONNA BE LATE IF YOU DON'T HURRY IT UP! THE ENTRANCE EXAMS AREN'T GOING TO STAY OPEN ALL DAY AND NEITHER ARE THE AUDITIONS!"

What? Entrance exams? Try outs? What are you talking about?

"WAKE UP!"

Snapping my eyes open, I take a fast sweep over my room. The sun is setting, which means Rukia must be back along with the rest of my family. I wonder why they didn't wake me up when they got back home. And when was the last time I had that dream. Actually when was the last time I really thought about the old gang. It feels like forever since we all were together before -before the incident that broke us all apart.

~ Flashback ~

" Hey Ichigo! " Turning around, I see a young girl with long ginger hair and green, mischievous eyes. Just by first glance, you can instantly tell that she is plotting something -whether it be a harmless prank or something far more impish, like the next person she would use her sarcastic, smartass taunts on.

She stands at about five-three, a suitable height to wear black tight pants and a white baggy shirt with a black, cotton hoodie. Around her neck you see a small chain with a house key dangling off in plain sight -though rumor said that it was actually a skeleton key she used when pulling the annual school prank. I knew better though. This girl always finds a way to get herself locked out of the house so her mother eventually gave her a chain to place the key on. It had definitely helped a lot, but my friend still manages to lock herself out in the weirdest ways.

"Hey Megan. Any chance you've seen the rest of the gang?" She went straight to her sassy pose; hips moving to one side while her left hand rest next to her hip, and the other hand moving to her chin, facial expression turning to a thinking one.

"Let us see. So after a whole two week vacation away from school, from all my great friends, and from the oh-so-stuck-up-yet-perfect Ichigo Kurosaki, I come back here, say hi to you like the amazing friend I am, and all I GET IS A - and I quote - ANY CHANCE YOU'VE SEEN THE REST OF THE GANG" Oh great, here comes the dramatic end.

Twirling around and pretending to be heartbroken she continues, " Do I mean that little to you? Oh the cruel, cruel world! " I should probably stop this before she gets all poetic and shit. "The world is overflowing with persons who thrive off evil and hatred! Why, oh, why?" A fake sob is emitted, "I can no longer take it! No longer….farewell Ichigo, I will miss you so." Yeah I really don't want to stop her though. Where was the voice memo when it's needed?

I hear a sudden shriek from behind, turning around quickly I see Megan -running down the hallway? Oh no, not this again. Resigning myself to fate, I prepare myself for the feeling of my ribs breaking and start running after her.

"Megan! I didn't mean it, I miss you too!" Turning the corner, I immediately fall into her trap and get crushed by her her into a bear hug.

"I know you didn't mean it but it's always fun messing with ya. Besides I know where the others are anyway and was just coming to get ya. SO LET'S GO!"

Its official - I'm going to die this year. If not by Megan then by school definitely. Oh well, at least it will be a fun year with the gang.

"OI! ICHI HURRY YOUR ASS UP!" I never got how cheerful she can be all the time, "God , how can you daydream so much? Are you sure that you have a brain, Ichigo? 'Cause you should really use it to move your feet!"

"Yea yea I'm coming. Impatient much!" Laughing, she just turns around and walks away.

Yup this year is going to be fun.

~ End of Flashback ~

If only that was really true. If only I had been prepared then maybe everything would be back the way it was. No supernatural beings and no war, just normal teenage drama…and Megan kicking my ass because I didn't move at the same, freakishly quick pace as she did.

"Onee-san? Are you in there?" That sounded like Yuzu.

"Yeah Yuzu I'm here! Umm is there something you want?'' Shaking my head of my negative thoughts, I turn to the clock. Huh? It's already 7:30? Dinner time then.

"Dinner is ready so come on down. Okay Onee-san?"

Yup dinner and just in time too.

"Okay Yuzu! Go make sure goat face doesn't steal all the food!" Hearing her small giggle and quiet footsteps shuffling down the stairs, I stand up. Heading to my bag I threw down a little earlier in my quest for a nap, I quickly take out my phone and scan for any calls or text message. Nothing.

Wow I just feel loved (Depressed sigh as I decide to hide in a dark corner alone). Throwing my phone on the bed, I head toward the door. Might as well get some food then since it seems I have no social life and Rukia doesn't seem to be coming tonight either. "Well more food for me then!"

~ ONE HOUR LATER~

"Great dinner Yuzu. Thanks!" I smile down at my sister while putting the dishes away in their rightful places. She turns around with a huge, cheerful smile.

"No problem Onee-san! I'm just glad you decided to have dinner with us instead of in your room like a stuck up boy!" Sticking her tongue at me she turns around and pretends to pout.

I put the other few dishes away and walk towards her. "Oh really huh? I guess since I'm SO stuck up you wouldn't mind me just going back upstairs and being the dull and boring brother!" I pretend to be offended, grabbing my heart and looking away with a hurt expression.

Peeking through my eyes I see her as still as a stick, then immediately - I find myself tightly secured between two small arms around my waist.

"I miss you Onee-san " Smiling softly at her, I gently place my hand on her head.

"I miss you too squirt" Looking up at me, giving her great smile, she turns around and wraps up the leftover food from dinner. "Onee-san I was wondering" She pauses, unsure what to do.

"Yuzu?"

Shaking her head she continues "I was wondering if you miss them?" She spins around, looking me straight in the eye. For such a youngster, it still amazed me on how serious she could be.

"I know," she confesses, "I know that you leave at night and come back really early in the morning. I know that whenever you listen to music you tap your fingers against your thigh, thinking of new moves." Biting her lip, carries on with more confidence, "And I know that you never wanted to go to Karakura High School." She walks towards me, stopping just a foot away. She clenches her fists, looking down at the ground, she continues, "So why are you just ignoring it all? Why is that? Mom died and yet you continue following both of your dreams, but then you started doing more and more. I thought you were finally really happy with them..at that school doing your own thing. Yet, after the incident you just stopped everything. Everything mom ever taught you...it just seems to be wasting away now"

Finally she looks up at me. My breath stops as I see my little sister with tears in her eyes. "Now…you're not happy. At least not truly happy " I look away, shutting my eyes, processing what she said to me. I can't deny, every word was completely one hundred percent true.

~Later that night~

Laying in bed I couldn't help but think maybe I should have never went to Karakura High School, never leave my friends. Yet that is exactly what I had done and regret it every single day. Now apparently I'm the hotheaded soul reaper who rushes into battle without using my brain. That is what my name has become, and I'm sick of it. Without a second thought I got up, went to my desk and opened my laptop. One thought in my head as I log in to my laptop.

I should have done this along time ago.

~Weekend~

Walking down the hallway with a handful of papers, I stop outside the door to the clinic. I know I shouldn't disturb goat face while he runs the clinic but I can't keep putting this off.

Taking a deep breath, I open the door. Walking through, I look to make sure there are no patients in the waiting room or hospitable bed. Seeing no one there, I head toward the office where goat face would usually be if there were no patients. Knocking on the door, I wait until I hear a soft "come in". Looking down at the papers in my hand, I thought of just walking back upstairs and tossing them in the trash.

Shaking my head I open the door and walk in, here goes anyway. Goat face looks up from the paperwork on his desk, his eyes narrow as he sees me walk in.

Rule Number One: Never disturb Dad while he is working.

"What is it Ichigo? I thought I told you never to bother while I'm working" He sets his pen down and leans in his chair, "But I'm too tired to really care right now. This blasted paperwork is going to kill me one of these days."

I sit in the chair in front of him and the desk, "Umm I kinda wanted to ask you something. Well, I really wanted to ask if you could take a look at these papers and if you agree, sign them."

He gives me a questioning stare but holds his hand out anyway. I place the papers in his hand. Holding them up he quickly reads them. His eyes widen, he sits straighter and runs his eyes through the words again. Laying the papers on the table he looks at me. His face set in a glare, his eyes cold. Then he smiles, standing up and walking towards me and places a hand on my shoulder.

"It's about damn time you apply. Your mother would have been overjoyed if she was here with us." Finally he takes something, besides his work, seriously. Well that's what I would have loved to say before he whips out a picture of mom and starts spouting nonsense while sobbing like a child.

~A Couple Minutes Later~

Sporting a pretty big sized bruise on his left cheek, goat face finishes signing all the paperwork and hands it back to me.

"When will you be transferring out of Karakura? Also the entrance exams are already over. Even though you took them for freshman year and passed, you never really applied to the academy." He was right for once. The entrance exams are only to see if you qualify to be able to enter the academy.

"I can talk to the principle about that one. If I can't transfer then I'll just wait till junior year and take the exams then." Goat face tilted his chair backwards.

"You scored pretty high marks in your exam. Also one of your old friends is related to the principle so maybe they could -"

"Dad no! I'm not going to do that. I'm getting into this school myself without any help. If I can't get in, that means I'm no good. Besides I haven't spoken to any of my old 'friends' in a while anyway." Standing up, I started walking to the door "I'm going to head to bed and find out tomorrow."

"Ichigo!" I stop, my hand on the door knob, " I'm proud of you." With a small smile, I open the door and head to my room. Tomorrow is going to be a long day.

~Next Day ( Saturday ) ~

Sitting in a dim, musty old office room was not how I expected my Saturday afternoon to be.

"Excuse me Mr. Kurosaki. He is ready for you."

I look up to see a woman in her mid-twenties with long, black hair pulled in a bun. She had a pale skinned complexion and green eyes just radiating nothing but boredom. Wearing a khaki pencil skirt and a matching button-up cardigan over a white blouse, she stands next to me, indicting to follow.

Standing, I follow her down the hallway towards the principal's office. She nods her head, telling me to go in, and walks away. Opening the door, I'm assaulted by the smell of body spray; not to much that it's overwhelming but just perfect to the nose. The man sitting at the desk has dark, shaggy hair, green and calm emerald eyes, as well as a nice tan, proving how much he gets out to the beachside. Besides his messy and unkempt hair, the black suit he wears shows how professional he seems to be.

"So you are Ichigo Kurosaki. I remember you from last year when you took the entrance exam. You scored pretty high for a freshman and yet you never bothered to enter this academy. You, of course, remember me surely?"

"Sorry for being rude, sir, but I don't remember you." Seriously he expects me to know who he is. I couldn't even remember that Uryu was in my class until someone pointed it out. Names and faces just don't go well with me.

"Oh don't worry, it was my mistake. We never even met but my name is Eugene Fuller. Pleasure to finally meet you." I cross the room to stand in front of his desk. I quickly shake his hand, not sure how to take this strange man, "Now I understand that you wish to transfer into this academy. At least this is what you told me on the phone, correct? " I nod my head while taking the papers from my bag. Handing him the paperwork, I take a seat in the chairs in front of his desk.

"That is all the work for the transfer if you allow it. But I am most concern on if I need to wait to take the exams again or will I just be tested to enter this year?" He shakes his head and moves his gaze to his computer screen.

"I am a little surprise that you suddenly decided to come to this school after a year and a half almost. You will have to wait until the next semester but since it's only in 3 weeks that shouldn't be a problem, right? I will send you the information regarding school rules and activities along with your classes if you just fill this application here " He hands over a paper, turning back to his computer, he continues typing. I can only stare at him in utter shock.

"Um that's it?" He shift his eyes on me and only smirked.

"My boy when I saw your test scores from a year ago I have always wanted you in my school. Now you are here. Welcome to Yukimura Academy, Ichigo Kurosaki. "

Hope you enjoyed.I will update as soon as possible.
