NOTE: i have changed the fact that mozenrath and aladdin didnt know eachother! You will get it when reading this.
ok sorry its been so long. I will say that since I have watched Magi now, I will incorperate some refferences in this. Mostly names. I think the show is absolutly adorable and epic and more people should watch it! Aladdin is my favorite character, he's so cute and funny and epic all wrapped into one ten year old. Anyhow, its worth the time to get into especially the second season.
So, This story will stay in the past, all building up to the second chapter, and then the first chapter, and maybe then go past that, who knows. But thats what I'm planning. So enjoy!

Who knows what
Aladdin was happy where he was, in this palace as an offical home now, with his wife and father in law, and of coarse his friends. It had been a couple weeks since their wedding, and his departure with his father. It still bothered him to let him go, but life had to move on. Iago had come back saying he was getting bored of the thieveing for a while and that Cassim had something private to go check on so they departed for a while. Aladdin couldn't help but be curoise about what it could be, but decided to let it go. He would just be tormenting himself if he kept noising into his fathers business. It also got him thinking about his mother... and another little boy. He grabbed him head and swayed some, until the image faded. Why did he imagine another kid again? This had been happening since he met geini. He hadn't told anyone, but it bothered him a little that his memories from before his father left were so hazy. And now this mysterios boy kept appearing in them. He figured it was just a coping thing his mind was doing because of him now having loved ones he was trying to think he had more when he was younger. But he knew he didn't. So what was happenening then?
"Are you ok Aladdin?" Jasmine asked while walking in, noticing his troubled look.
"Who me? Yeah, I'm just a little dizzy, that's all." He smiled at her and she believed him. They continued with their normal day.
Out in the dessert of the dark sand...
Mozenrath was pacing in his lair. His father watched him as he fiddled with things at random, trying to get an idea for how to tell his dear little brother the news and in part still excepting the news himself.
"My brother! All this time, and I didn't put two and two together! All this time I've thought he was long gone, and I've been interacting with him instead!" Mozenrath kept mummering.
Cassim had made himself at home in the meantime, mocking destain for his failures and threatening him for what he did to his oldest son. And then making food and occasionaly telling a story to Mozenrath about some of his adventures. It had been two days since he had told his oldest boy that he and Aladdin were indeed brothers, it was still bothering Cassim greatly that if he hadn't left, they might have been able to find Alibaba and could have been a family instead of his boys becoming enemies.
But no, the pain of loosing Alibaba was too great and he had to flee, to try to make it right by having money, so at least he could protect his other boy. But, whats done is done. It still shocked him though that Aladdin hadn't asked about Alibaba when they were talking about what had happened to his mother. The only reason Cassim hadn't said anything was because the thought was still to painful, so he figured Aladdin didn't want to remember anymore after what happened to his mother. But now he is questioning wheather Aladdin even remembered having a brother at all. Clearly Alibaba had changed beyond recognition after he was taken, but even so, why didn't Aladdin look for him?
Ali had already stated that Destain had shown him an image of his brother and mother while she was dying, and that after she died a madman had stabbed the little one and taken everything from him once he was also dead and then burned the bodies. He had had nightmares about it for weeks until Destain had finally convinced him to just let it go and accept that they were dead. That's when his lust for power really started. He kept up with the rumors about his father, and decided that that was all he had left. Likewise his father kept up on the rumors about him. But the memories about his mother and brother, he had burried that all in the back of his mind so long ago, he never put the dots together that this boy he's been usuing/battleing that intrigues him so, was really his long forgotten brother.
It all seemed so crazy to Cassim, but none the less, his boys were both smart, powerful young men. Though he didnt agree with 'Mozenraths' methods, he still wanted his family back, at any cost. He had heard this beautiful sound in his sleep one time about a week ago, and ever since he has been itching to have his family back. He even came and broke in to find that his oldest son was doing very well, surpassing that terrible being that had changed his life ever so drastically. He was happy that his boy was now in control of his own life now, but still had this nagging in his head about wanting Aladdin back as well and to be together for some reason. This greed was driving him to even be willing 'Mozenraths' dark methods. He knew it wasn't his style, but he just wanted to be together for some reason.
"So, are you really going to tell him everything? Or maybe he should find out in a different way. From what you've told me, maybe hearing it from you isn't the best idea." Cassim inquired. Mozenrath kept pacing, but shortly after he stopped and stared at something on his table. It was a crazy idea, but he knew she would love to know about this, and would definatly be able to help him. He picked up the thin golden braclet that shone different images when in the light. His father came up behind him examining the braclet.
"So, I'm assuming by your smile that you've got a plan."
"Not yet, but I know someone who would be happy to help with that." Cassim cocked an eyebrow at him.
"And who would this person be exactly?"
"An old friend, she goes by the name Mirage."
so, alot to chew on. Tell me what you think about the new developments! And constuctive critisism is always nice too!
