Flora pov

I look at my class with slightly wide eyes. I have a lot of work to do with this group. I have never had a class as larger as this before. Here I thought to go to class with them was hard enough, teaching was going to be impossible. I take a deep breath and walk in the room as they all stare at me. I was wearing a tight black sleeveless t-shirt with black workout shorts and black gym shoes with pink flowers as the design; compliments to Stella.

"Afternoon boys. Who wants to know why they here?" I ask. All of the boys raise their hands.

"Ok. Who is Timmy?" I ask looking at my phone with all of their names.

"That would be me," an orange hair boy with freckles and glasses steps forward.

"How many boys attend this school?" I ask.

"About 5 thousand," Timmy answers.

"And what percentage actually pass final exams?"

"About 95%."

"What point are you making."

"Let me finish. So can someone explain how its MATHMAICAL POSSIBLE THAT EVERY BOY IN THIS ROOM FAILED THE FINAL EXAM?!" I demand.

"How is that possible? What? My parents are gonna kill me?" Several boys scream.

"I'm here as your last resort. This class preps you for the re-take final exam. I'm your teacher but I want to treat as one of you. You can call me Flora or Flo."

"But how did we all fail," Sky asks.

"It varies. Some were a flight exam, written; doesn't matter. I'm here to teach you how to do better. I will push you mentally and physically in my class. Any questions?"

"Yea! Why is a girl teaching." Thorne screams from the back.

"I have a gift. I was taught to fight like the men of my planet. My family came here, now it's my turn. Any more questions?"

"One, are you single?" Brandon asks wiggling his eyebrow.

"Yep. And happily too. Now, who really wants to be here?" not a single hand is raised.

"Ok, I'll make you a deal. If anyone can beat me one on one then you can leave. No questions asked. Who's first?"

"I'll go to get the heck out of here." The magenta-haired student says walking up to face me.

"This will take no energy. To make this interesting. Anyone have a blindfold?"

"Here," Helia came to me and gives me a blindfold.

"Thank you."

"I will have a blindfold over my eyes. I will have no vision." I placed the blindfold over my eyes.

"Begin!" Flora yells to Riven.

As they fight I'm literally on my toes. Watching my flower moves to dodge Riven's attacks. She jumps in the air and dropkicks him to the ground. The whole class was laughing at Riven.

"So who's next?" She asks with the binding fold still on.

"I'll pass," Brandon says helping Riven off the floor.

"I don't know what's worse. The fact that she beat you or you couldn't defend yourself." Sky says laughing

"It was a lucky shot." Riven mumbles.

"You want a rematch." She asks taking off her blindfold to reveal her lovely eyes.

"No! I mean I'm good." Riven says.

"Great. Now who wants to learn something, since you now wasted about 2 minutes." She says.

"Alright Flora, teach us," I say respectfully.

"Thank you, Helia. Now, what is the first rule of fighting?" She asks.

"A good offense." Nabu answers.

"A great defense," Timmy says.

"Knowing your opponent." Sky answers.

"Know your weapon," Riven says.

"Knowing your environment," Brandon says.

"Knowing what to do." Thorne answers.

"Knowing your opponents weakness," I answer.

"I'll stop you when you're right," Flora says.

"Then what's the answer," Riven says impatiently.

"Balance." She says simply as we all looked at her like she was crazy.

"Ok, I know it sounds funny but it's true. The first lesson is to know how to gentle, but at the same time you're being tough." She explains gently slamming her fist into her open palm and shutting her eyes.

"How do you be tough and gentle?" Nabu asks as she opens one eye to his question.

"Yeah we're guys, we're tough. Not gentle." Riven says.

"I know it sounds a little funny, but the world is full of opposites and so are you. The key is to put them all into balance." She giggles as she tries to explain it again.

"Ok, who believe that just I spoke a different language?" She asks. We all raise your hands quickly.

"Let's see if this help:

Earth, Sky

Day to Night

Sound (she say loudly) and Silence (She whispers)

Dark (she covers my eyes with her hands) and Light (She moved them)

1 is never enough alone, you need both together

Winter, Summer, the Moon, and the Sun

That's lesson number one.

Like the rock (She throw punches)

You have to be tough (She flips to the bows, grabbing one and flips back)

Like the oak (She plants her feet firmly on the floor)

You must stand firm

Cut quick (She positions her bow to cut the air between her and us)

Like my blade

Dig fast (she attacks Brandon with the bow getting him on the ground)

And don't be afraid " She explains.

"Ok, so you mean that we need our opposite to be better warriors?" I ask unsurely.

"Top of the class Helia." She says smiling at me.

"Great now that Helia is the new teacher's pet, when does the gentle part come in," Riven says making me blush.

"I'm getting there.

Just like the clouds, you have to be soft

Like the bamboo, you have to bend in the wind

Creeping slow your are at peace because you know (She sneaks behind Sky scaring him.)

It's ok to be afraid." She explains the second half.

"You still didn't answer my question," Riven says.

"What I'm trying to say is that you have move quickly and sheath likes to get the advantage on your opponent. You have been at a certain peace because you know you can be afraid." She tries to explain.

"She has a point," Timmy says.

"Yeah."

"Get a partner and with the way, I just explain try to defeat him. Go," she orders.

"Yes, Flora." We all says as we pair up.

I have Throne as my partners which I really didn't want. I think of Flora's voice telling me how to beat him and attack. It's a good fight until I end it by pinning him to the ground.

"Good job Helia. Now you want to tell me what you did wrong." Flora asks.

"I don't understand," I reply.

"Your foot. Get in your stance again." She orders me.

I place myself into my stance and she circles around me, like the lion stalking her prey. She stands in front of me and gets in her stance.

"Your foot on your left side. And if Throne was paying attention he would've known that. That's why you attack with you right side and defend with your left. When Thorne hit you with his right foot ,you grabbed it with your right hand flipping him over. You should have grabbed it with your right since you right hand is quicker than your left. Make sense." She says as quickly as possible but I understand most of it.

"Yes, it does. Thank you." I say smiling at her.

"Alright class you're homework tonight is simple. Answer me this tonight, what is your physical and mental weakness. Understand."

"Yes." We all reply.

"Alright, class dismissed." She yells as she grabs her stuff off the bench.

"Timmy, Brandon pay up." Sky yells as he leaves the room

"So Flora, you're a pretty good teacher."

"Thank you, Helia. You seem to be the only student that cares." She says sadly as she puts her things in her pink and purple backpack.

"I think Riven learned something today." I joke.

"Funny. Let's just hope you all pass your exams. You are really my only hope."

"How so?" I ask curiously.

"My sister Krystal she wants the throne of Lymphea. If she gets that throne, the whole magic dimension is doomed." She says walking out of the room.

"How can I be the only hope?"

"I need to be able to teach the ways of Lymphea to other students. Warriors and fairies alike. I need at least 6 students to pass my class in order to get the throne. But there is no hope here. They only see me as a girl doing a man's job. What can I do to change that."

"What if my friend and I can pass the class?"

"You mean Brandon, Sky, Timmy, Riven, the other guy and you will pass my class to help me?" She says trying to figure it out.

"Of course. We love a challenge." I lie.

"Well, it's not a totally lie. We will help her. I just need the others to agree. Right." I think in my head.

"Really!" She screams happily.

"Absolutely." I smile to her.

"Aha! Thank you so much." She screams as she hugs me tightly.

Her skin is so soft and she looks so thin as I hug her back. I am seriously scared to squeeze think she would break. She lets me go and kisses my cheek in appreciation.

"I'll see you guys tomorrow bright n' early. Later Helia. Thanks again." She says as she runs to catch the elevator.

Get her to like me. Check. Tell the guys they have actually learned something from her and like it. Not check. I'm so dead.
